The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

We walked in and asked for a table the waitress practically growled at us. We had seen from other reviews that they sold pizzas which is why we chose here to suit our 8 year old. When we sat down we saw the menu was very limited to a few dishes (not necessarily a bad thing) but there were no pizzas. The restaurant only had two other people dining on a Saturday evening so no atmosphere either. We chose not to stay due to the small number of options and unfriendly atmosphere.

Visited for the first time tonight and will absolutely return again in the future. Delicious food, great service and spotless. We couldn't ask for better.

We popped in here with our new puppy. The place was packed inside but we managed to find a table outside. Cakes were delicious and service was good.

Hit and miss. Decent beers sometimes, shelves sparse, grumpy and unfriendly staff. Shame really.

Tried to book for Saturday but only answering machine with no response. Went round to find restaurant closed, being refurbished and under new management!

This is an excellent pub the beer brewed on site and sold nowhere else is top notch well worth a visit for real ale enthusiasts

First visit here. Made welcome. Relaxed and casual dining. Large menu choices. Mediterranean influences and Greek /Turkish specialities. Large selection of cakes patties.

Staff were friendly & helpful, the food was excellent; I was impressed.

Our favourite place for a coffee. Staff are lovely, bacon butties delicious and generally great place to chill out.

Beautiful location, food is superb, luxurious surroundings whilst retaining a warm, home from home feel, thanks to the warm welcome & kindness of Kate, Jim & the team. Thank you very much - we will be back soon!

Very good food and service. The menu is clearly laid out, everything made fresh and they are open to you adapting their dishes. Very easy for me to eat here as a vegan. Only disappointment was no dessert menu.

Called in today, what a great, friendly cafe, reasonably priced too. Will definitely be calling in again.
