Yet again, such a lovely visit today to this charming cafe. Heaven is Homemade is fast becoming our favourite spot for lunch. Rachel, as always, was her welcoming, chatty self - she's just lovely. It is honestly a pleasure to spend money there - great value... great food... great chat. Thank you, Rachel, for just being you - because your 'you' is wonderful :-)

Had this delightful cafe recommended to us and was not disappointed. The owner, Rachel, was so incredibly welcoming and, honestly, she could not have done more to make our visit special. Our food and drinks were all freshly prepared there & then and tasted lovely. And it was excellent value-for-money, too - though, be aware that, whilst they can't take card payments, Rachel does accept bank transfers and PayPal. We will most definitely be returning soon. Thank you, Rachel - you're a wonderful person.

Had a brilliant first visit to the Heaven is Homemade vintage tearoom. What a find! Everything is baked and prepared by Rachael - some of it while you’re there. The decor is fascinating and a lot of effort gone into it. Two distinct rooms both create different atmospheres. The tea room has so many amazing tea cups, pots and jugs. All adding to the authenticity. And the tea cup theme continues with a tea cup clock and tea cup chandeliers. We had ham sandwiches and quiches - both served with salad, crisps and homemade coleslaw. The sandwich bread was hand cut from a whole loaf as we ordered - no sliced bread or ready prepped sandwiches here! And the cheese and onion quiche was served warm having only been made that day by Rachael. Delicious. We had scones and a cherry Bakewell meringue dessert. The scones were as good as the reviews on here. Freshly baked each day (no dry/leftover scones here): they were crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle: perfect. The meringue was delicious! Tea and coffee comes freshly made and the tea and coffee pots come with individual cosies/knitted jackets to keep the drinks hot. So cute. And if all of the above wasn’t good enough, the warm welcome you get from Rachael is just icing on a lovely cake. She makes you feel welcome and special. This doesn’t cost to do but it is priceless. We took my mum and she’s still talking about Rachael. Loved our visit and will definitely return.

I have been visited here several times and never been disappointed. I decided to book afternoon tea for my daughter who was 21. I asked if I could ring balloons and banners and the lady was very accommodating. When we arrived we could see straightaway where we were sitting. It’s a quirky little tea room which you would either love or hate. It has lots of china cups saucers tea pots decorating the two rooms. You have a choice of two fillings in your sandwiches which you pick. Then a choice of homemade cakes which is always very hard to choose as they all look delicious. The sandwiches are freshly prepared. The afternoon tea is served on individual China cake stands with sandwiches & salad homemade scone jam & cream then your choice of cake. My family were very impressed and the comments were delicious beautiful very tasty etc in fact some of them had to leave some cake as they were full. An extremely friendly and chilled atmosphere with first class food & service. I think they also serve meals which I have yet to try. I’m sure it won’t be long before I am back again.

A lot of thought must have gone into the decor of this Tea room. From the ration book style menu to the tea cup wall clock and tea cup light fittings. All a bit hazard but well thought out at the same time. A good selection of cold and toasted sandwiches, baked potato, salads, hot & cold drinks and cakes and scones. Ample well presented portions. If I were to be really picky the only teeny weeny criticism I would have would be a was surprised that the sandwiches came in the form of a breadcake. I expected a couple of thick slices of a bloomer which would have been with the upkeeping of the theme in my opinion. However Breadcake or bloomer doesn't detract from the quality. Had the best ever home made Bakewell tart imaginable. Really had to hold back on seconds.

My Granddaughter had her 9th birthday party here and it was amazing. The children were welcomed by Rachel and shown to a table already prepared with cookie dough for them to cut out. Heard a lot of great things about Heaven is Homemade Vintage Tea Room. However when I visited I was extremely disappointed. The first thing I did notice was a distinct musty stench similar to that of an old persons home. The cakes were dry, tea and coffee cold, and my sister found a hair, (looked like a pubic hair), in her sandwich. I had advise everyone in the region to ABSOLUTELY NOT visit this establishment.
