Angells Cafe in Rotherham

Probably the worst I ever had. Tucking ferrible. I don’t even had a tissue. Poor quality of ingredients I don’t know why the a few comments were good I am sorry for those people’s taste.

Good bacon sandwich will go back

Great staff , never had a bad sandwich. Call about once a month or so on the way to see family .

Walked in and we were stood for over 10 minutes waiting to ne asked what we would like when we thought we were finally getting served the man just walked past us so we ended up just leaving not happy

Used to be amazing with a great breakfast, couldn't even put everything on my breakfast and apparently as per the manager "they always forget to put something on" totally unacceptable

WOW this cafe is fantastic and the service and food was excellent and definitely filled my lad and my stomach up before a day at a festival prices was superb as well

Great food, lovely staff, spotless and welcoming. Will certainly be going again, only downfall was no disabled parking in carpark and I struggled to get back to my car, but that won't stop me from going again. Well done to all the staff.

Kitchen hygiene is ZERO! People, possible family members or friends - walk in and out of the kitchen in private clothes, touching equipment and food with not washed hands, and placed a handbag on the kitchen table surface! The chef is in private clothes; cooks, serves, handles cash and cleans tables, not wearing PPEs on her private clothes, hair and hands. Used dishes mixed together in the kitchen to wash up! Social distance rules impossible to keep up when you order your food! I will not return!

Nice cafe, server was a bit " rushy" but the woman was ok..not the cheapest, but ok..mortal sin having no bread for burgers though.

Its now called TKs by name. Great food ,service and prices. Regularly order for the steelwork company and we collect the order which has always been ready on time and piping hot.

Honestly the best sandwiches I've ever had come here with my dad on Saturdays to get our breakfast they have amazing food and such a large selection and all staff are friendly and fun definitely a kid friendly place and 10/10 would recommend trying if you in the area they offer vegan options aswell

Met up with my friend & her little girl, they was thoughtful enough to give the little one her meal straight away, due to the volume of orders they had they didn't want her to have to wait. Lovely food at reasonable prices, quick & a very friendly service too

We go to Angells cafe most weeks, the food is very good and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Great service and great food too, would recommend the bacon butties, going for Sunday lunch soon.

The all day breakfast was magnificent and the prices are brilliant.

Popped in for some breakfast. Gent seated us straight away. Our order was taken in a timely fashion and the food came out quickly too. Was really nice and good prices.

Really nice atmosphere, place has a lovely retro style. We ordered breakfast food and it was delicious The serving was fast as well. The service was lovely and the price was 'friendly'. Also, one of the few places in the area which opens so early in the morning, which was great for us.

I've called here for breakfast while my kitchen at home is being replaced. All the traditional english breakfast foods are available in various combinations at excellent prices. Generous portions, don't have to wait too long for service which is friendly and polite. I also understand lunches are served here from 11.30

Wow what a find, fabulous little cafe doing a huge turnover in breakfasts, went each morning as its just over the road from the hotel, great food, lovely staff and a very extensive menu, deserves 5* plus

Driven past a couple of times, today decided to pop in and have a breakfast, plenty of parking, staff very friendly and good food options. I had the regular breakfast which was 2 bacon, 2 sausages, egg, beans, mushrooms and 2 slices of toast and tea for around £4. Well cooked and presented. Give it a try will most definitely be going back. Only issue we had was the cafe could have been warmer.

Me and my son and staff from work visit here regular. Food and service is always fantastic and they have a great menu. Cakes are fab too. Always clean and tidy too.

First time I been only went as I dropped car off in the local area so had a hour to spare had bacon sandwich which was pretty cooked and sat in a tin on side so was cold and the breadcake was dry no body in which now I know why

I have a regular sandwich from here through my work place and although it's very tasty I noticed a lot of grease on my sandwich and when I squeezed my sandwich a lot of grease came out. The sandwich went in the bin. I know a bacon and mushroom sandwich will have some grease but not to the extent of it being squeezed out and I didn't squeeze that hard either. I'm not going to bother from now on. Certain people where I work don't get what they ordered or have things missing. It is rectified when we ring up but that's costing time.

I go here most days to pick up salads/sandwiches for lunch to take back to work. The standard of food is very high. Kay and her staff are excellent, friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. The sandwiches are very tasty with many choices of bread and fillings. The hot and cold food is always beautiful. Kay make her own pies, curries, roasts etc. on site. Proper home cooked food. The place is clean and the ambiance is great. If you are in the area and want breakfast or lunch to eat in or take out, I would recommend you go to Angell's Cafe on Barbot Hall Industrial Estate, opposite Ron Hull Jnr. for first class service at very reasonable prices.

This is our first visit today 1/4/16 and we were really pleased with our meals homemade pasty and homemade pie served with fresh veg chips or proper mash and gravy was delicious and to finish off I had chocolate crunch with custard and this was homemade too and scrumptious . .we also had a lovely brew too all this for only £11.45 I will be going back again thank you xx

I visit this cafe every week. Gorgeous homemade and freshly cooked food, clean environment and friendly staff who can't do enough for you Definitely recommend this cafe an thing from breakfasts to lunches, to snacks to desserts.

was told about this place from several people in the area, it was clean, and friendly, service with a smile, i had a vegetarian breakfast, my friend had a very large breakfast with everything you could possibly think of on it. good choice of hot and cold drinks, and a very selective menu board, they also do lunch.The food we had was quickly brought over, it was hot and presented nicely....we topped it off with a slice of flapjack..from the sweet cabinet...loads of choice, they also do cold choices, salad, quich, etc.

If you like simple home cooking with friendly service, then you need look no further than Angell's. Be it breakfast or lunch the quality and quantity will more than please you. My favourite is their steak and ale pie, but make sure you're really hungry because there's plenty of it. I recommend you top your meal off with treacle tart and custard (other desserts are available). So next time you're in the area, pop in to Angell's, I guarantee. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED.
