Top notch little place, great decor and immaculate presentation. Thoroughly recommended. Warm welcome and good selection of ales and craft beers.

This is our go to place when visiting Birmingham from Sussex. My husband always has the red murgh and I usually have chicken biryani. The food is amazing. The restaurant is small and cosy (make sure you book), always with a great atmosphere. The staff are extra attentive and really want you to enjoy your meal and the whole experience. You can't beat Streetly Balti for value for money, quality of food and friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can take your own booze. Including a tip, the bill came to £45 for two starters, two mains and a naan bread (all delicious). Enjoy! Our son-in-law has eaten in restaurants across the world and his favourite is still Streetly Balti!

Been to this restaurant a few times and the food has been gorgeous, had a takeaway from there yesterday and the food for takeaway was the same standard as eating in plenty too would highly recommend 💯

Walked to the Fish Bar whilst looking after our grandson in Streetly, it was a bitterly cold day and we wanted something hot for lunch. My husband ordered a large cod and chips for us to share and it was freshly cooked the staff couldn't have been nicer, my husband overheard one customer asked which curry sauce he wanted, my husband heard the member of staff say Irish curry sauce, when the customer left he asked the member of staff what Irish curry sauce was and he said it was a bit sweeter with an after kick. We got the fish and chips and as it was so cold we ate it in the shop it was gorgeous the member of staff gave us a pot of the Irish curry sauce which was fantastic. the food was great but what put me off was how she treated her employees ,the girl looked like she was having a breakdown , i’ve been in there a few times before and the food has always been decent not the best but not the worst, but it was really the way she spoke to her staff ,really threw me off going again as i felt to say something because i wouldn’t like it if it was my daughter !!!!

I think I've found our new favourite chippy! Called in on my way home yesterday around 8.30 and the food was beautiful. I tried the gyros which was amazing and the chips were lovely too. Lovely friendly service, Will definitely return.

We've lived local for some time but never visited Spice Inn. This was our first visit and we walked away very pleasantly surprised. First off the restaurant didn't seem to have my booking, but this was quickly resolved by staff once I showed them my booking confirmation. Once settled we saw the great offer of 'Banquet Nights'. Which allows you to have a starter, main with rice or naan and an ice cream. All for £13.95. This seemed great value for money. As a family of three, we opted for the following dishes. Starters: Tandoori Chicken, Sheek Kebab and Shami Kebab. Mains: Butter Chicken, Lamb Saag and North Indian Hot Garlic Chicken Tikka. Desserts: Ice cream x3. The starters were mediocre, the kebabs (both) were not packed with flavour and the Tandoori chicken was quite bland. The startrs were probably the only disappointing part of the meal. The mains were much more flavoursome, the North Indian Hot Garlic Chicken truly delivered what it says...this was spicy!! 🔥 This was a very tasty dish that packed a punch, The lamb Saag was very nice also. The butter chicken was slightly too sweet for our tasting but still delivered what was expected. Desserts was perfect after the spice provided in mains!! Overall, a nice cosy local restaurant that offers a Banquet Deal that offers great value. I would return for this deal again. Starter, Main and Dessert all for £13.95 --- BARGAIN!!! TIP: you can take your own alcohol as the restaurant does not have a bar!!

Hadn't been here since likely 1st opened as now live other side of Sutton. The food was good. I won't leave it so long before revisiting.
