Have been using this take away for 25 years. It’s the best one in the Streetly area In recent months however every dish I’ve had with chicken has been dried out and stale so much so that I have separated the chicken and eaten the rest. Please start using fresh chicken again

I had the lemon chicken and some other dishes from this place and the chicken was SO well done, perfectly fried. Definitely recommend it, especially with the lemon sauce it can come with!

1st time ordering told half hour wich all Chinese takeaways say 1 hour 10 minutes food came and being absolutely honest im 69 and this was possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted why are they open i had char sui pork inedible disgraceful my wife had sweet and sour chicken oh my god go to Iceland much better salt and chill chips cold probably 2/3 days old what an absolute disaster new to the area if you like Asian food do not not go to this place £22 wasted i know I'm going to be ill tomorrow

Overpriced bland tasting food ordered Cantonese sweet and sour chicken the chicken was tasteless and overcooked the sauce was thin did not taste like any sweet and sour I've ever had. Portions were small considering the price. Was told 20 mins we turned up to collect was more like 40 mins. Won't use again would rather travel a bit further to get a better meal.

Simply can't ever time it right. They say 20 minutes but over 35 minutes and still waiting. Never apologise and currently, chef seems to change now an again and dishes differ in quality. Once complained about prawn crackers thinking they would at least say sorry, have these these free this time...no way! I would go else where if you can!

Very very poor food . Cold . Ribs very tough didn't fall off the bone (not edable). Egg fried rice was foul and plain with almost no egg. BBQ sauce tasted like gravy definatly wasn't bbq anyway. NEVER AGAIN

My wife and I are not regulars of the Ocean Fish Bar, but following a pleasant experience on an autumnal Saturday evening we might now be. I was undecided regarding what I wanted and had to phone my wife to check her specific preferences from the impressive menu selection too! On this visit I was served by Alice who was extremely patient and very helpful in assisting me with my culinary choices. Thank you Alice.

Great staff, good selection of drinks and newly changed menu. The chicken coated in crushed nachos was particularly good. We were served by Tammy who was really helpful and friendly. We will definitely return next time we stay at the premier inn next door.

came here first time we sat in a booth and had to squeeze in to sit down and had booster seats to sit next to us on the seat..had a look at the menu some things are pricey for what they are ..I had a English breakfast was nice but fish fingers didn't like they didn't taste nice ..the karak chai wasn't made right..nice place to have a catch up but pricey for what u get

My experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing for two main reasons: Heating issues The heating in the room, controlled via the air conditioning system, did not work. I set it multiple times before going to bed, with the display showing it was set to 24 degrees, and I could hear the unit running. However, I woke up in the middle of the night to find the room cold. I tried adjusting it again, but it made no difference. In the morning, I reported this issue to reception and was informed that if I wanted the heating to work, I needed to request it at the front desk so they could activate it via administration. Seriously? Every guest has to call or visit reception just to turn on the heating? This is incredibly inconvenient and unacceptable. Humiliating treatment during meals Although I stayed for only one night, I was twice treated as a second-class guest during meals: During dinner, the waiter asked me where I’d like to sit. I pointed to a spot, sat down, and waited. After 15 minutes, I had to call the waiter because he seemed to wander aimlessly with the soup. When I finally received it, the portion was tiny—just a small bowl with barely any soup. After finishing, another waitress approached me and asked me to move to a different table—a single chair in a passageway where people were constantly walking by. This was uncomfortable and humiliating, and other guests noticed. Some later told me they felt sorry for me and thought it was incredibly rude of the staff. The next morning at breakfast, a similar situation occurred. Midway through my meal, yet another waitress came and asked me to move to a different table. This time, I didn’t respond but was once again made to feel unwelcome. I later discussed these incidents with reception, and while I did receive an apology, the experience left me feeling deeply humiliated. Overall, my stay at this hotel was marred by poor service and a complete lack of respect for guests. I cannot recommend it.
