Hot wok in Walsall

When this first opened the food was lovely. My second visit was not so good and my third to be honest was awful did t take long for standards quality and potion sizes to dramatically fall.. one star is too fair my last meal was just plain awful….

Travel to the shop in pleck for 9.30pm and the shop is closed your wasting time update google with the correct times your open and closed.

So I ordered my food last night and they gave me insufficient wings and the noodles tasted like paper, no flavour at all. We tried to exchange the item and call them up but that time they were closed. We called them up next day and talked to them about it and they said there’s nothing they can do , poor customer service and bad food. I am a regular customer of Everest noodles and thought I’d try something new but this shop is trashn

The first of its kind in the area. All different types of flavours to accommodate all. Food cook in an open kitchen watch your food being cooked in front of your eyes with all fresh ingredients. The service is amazing. Would recommend it to all. So if you're tired of the same food day in and day out give this place a go and like me, you will fall in love with the food. Firecrackers my favourite dish, they will be adding more dishes to their menu so that may change. The best Asian fusion dishes in the area.

I like Hot Wok because they’re one of the places that try to reduce food waste. Besides that the food is absolutely delicious and the taste is spot on, the food is cooked infront of you. They are accommodating to different tastes etc. the food is always piping hot, it’s cheaper than most noodle places in Birmingham too that sell the same foods.

Been to hot wok many of occasions, I’ve been to other Chinese take out places and enjoyed them however, I’ve never tasted a chow mein like this one. My family have had the other dishes like “firecracker” noodles the spiciest they do and they always come back for more, I never go to any other place for my Chinese food now. I always go to hot wok now for all my Chinese cravings, the only down fall I would say is that the prawn crackers have a lemon like taste but still very enjoyable. The staff always recognise me and remember my chow mein order and always make it perfect, always chatty and welcoming. They also make the food right in front of you and it’s always fresh.

Great food- I’d recommend the firecracker noodles if you’re looking for a bit of a kick and the kung po noodles for a comfort food. Portions are decent too; large enough to serve 2/3 people and priced well for the quality. Nice to have a better indo Chinese place in Walsall- a must try for everyone.

My 1st time here, an IL definitely be returning. The food was amazing... Very well priced, considering I've only ate half, an i still have half to eat later on tonight (large is a portion for two) 😋. I ordered for me and my wife, an we both loved it. I had Chef special, Uighur chips. An I mixed them both together, I recommend this.

Great tasting food filled with flavours , the staff are always friendly and know exactly what too recommend if your not sure what too get or try. I will definitely be going back here many more times

I love the kung po it’s so tasty I was on the verge of crying out of enjoyment .This is a ten out of ten for me !☺️

Food was amazing, the fusion noodles, chefs special and Chinese rice were out of this world. I think I've just found my new favourite take away. This is exactly what Walsall needed. Even got to speak to the chef and he was really helpful about recommending what I would like, and then I got to watch him work his magic. Staff were friendly and well mannered, didn't even notice waiting for the food as I was engulfed in conversation with the man behind the counter. An exceptional treat for the whole family and very well priced.

Came and ordered food from here yesterday evening. Was greeted by the owner and the chef you can watch your food being prepared, we ordered the fusion and firecracker, firecracker was hot with a lot of taste and the fusion was also very tasty. We will definitely be returning here. 10/10

12/10 services. My brother was from east london and treated me well. Food was banging. i'm not a noodles type of person. But this was bang on, i got the Firecracker noodles, chow mein and chefs special, which essentially was for the kids. Good food will definitely come again. Only issues is price, cost me £30. Not complaining food was banging definitely worth the price but. I feel like it's overpriced for walsall. I do most of these Asians turning around when they see the price tag. Many have tried to take this spot successfully. But many have failed, nonetheless, it's all written. Good luck with your business aventure.

Placed my first order with these tonight, and can honestly say the food and service was excellent. Ordered from their website, and I was notified that the order was being processed, when it would be dispatched, and the ETA. It was faultless. The food that I ordered arrived piping hot, and when I opened the boxes, I wasn't disappointed. It looked great. I had ordered two boxes of food, which was shared with my partner, and we were both happily full after eating. The food was excellent, and made a nice change from the everyday Chinese food. Well done Team. I will definitely be trying more of your menu.

What an earth is this? Food was terrible. I’ve left two stars because the food was given quick, but then again I guess it’s because it’s already there cooked & cold. I would strongly recommend you avoid this place

The food was absolutely beautiful. Full of flavour and delicious. Staff were really polite and friendly and catered to what we wanted. We enjoyed every single bite and would definitely order again.

One of the worst takeaways iv had chips rock hard dripping in grease green thai curry tated nothing like a curry a tub of salt must have been used in it really bad chicken wing where terrible the tate and they look under cooked when I bit into it all a waste of money as all went in the bin I would avoid at all cost.

A must try. Finally a great Chinese restaurant in walsall. Service is great. Food is fantastic. You must try the Singapore style noodles. And the wings definitely to die for. Great food and thanks for opening in walsall.

Finally a nicer indo Chinese place in walsall. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The owner is very understanding, as my order is always a difficult one because of my kids. Some of my dishes needed to be mild and some extra spicy and they accommodate without a issue or extra charge. I'm a big fan of crispy beef and requested it without sauce and it was delicious. I'm not a big rice fan but their uyghur pilaf is absolutely banging..would definitely return just for the pilaf. Ignore the 1 star review, clearly its written by the competition, most definitely they didn't even try the food. Are you trying to say that the people of pleck are poor? If £5 for a box of noodle is too expensive for you, you stick to your £1 chicken and chips. It's really unfair to leave bad reviews for new business as new places are always crazy busy and they're doing their best.. keep up the good work guys.. remember go for the uyghur pilaf✌️

Top class food with fantastic customer service. I would ignore the below review as this guy clearly doesn’t know much about food. This place has loads of different quality flavours. The buffalo wings are to die for. In addition, you can see the chef making the food, quite an interesting watch. Highly recommended. 5***** Juhair
