Very welcoming and friendly, the food good and service is always with a smile. Love going in just for a coffee or enjoying a meal.

Looking for a pub with a pool table so we could take the kids with us, pool, darts and skittles. Landlady was friendly and even showed the kids how to play on the skittles table, felt very comfortable drinking in there and the locals were really friendly too and all had a laugh when my 9 year old threw a dart at the fire alarm setting it off, will definitely be returning if we are not barred haha.....

Either not at this location or just closed at 11am when they say open on google maps.

A huge thank you to Paul and Emma from the Saracens Head Steakhouse for helping to create a fabulous party for my daughter and her boyfriends joint 18th and a friends 50th. Communication was brilliant from start to finish which made planning the party easy. Great private room, facilities and a cracking buffet which was admired by all guests. Good price for it all too and plenty of food ensuring all guests were catered for. Good vegetarian choice too. Lovely, safe and friendly atmosphere with very welcoming and attentive staff. Even closed the restaurant early to allow us to decorate and set off. Would definitely use again and highly recommend to others. Thank you to all the staff for being amazing!

We were a party of 12 at 2pm and I wanted to say thank you to all of the staff from the kitchen staff for wonderful and tasty food to the bar staff who never stopped serving the whole time we were there to the wonderful serving staff who did an amazing job. The 2 young servers particularly who smiled the whole time and made our Christmas Dinner a wonderful experience. Not to forget the 2 male adult managers who were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. THANK YOU

My friend and I stayed over for 1 night on Friday 25th October,we stayed in a twin room !!! I can not fault the staff ! This review isn’t about the staff who were absolutely brilliant ,and professional! Can’t fault the beds they were comfy and clean bedding ! The thing that is wrong with this place is it’s tired and it needs an absolute overhaul ,the bathroom,has mould around the bath a leaking shower head ! the bathroom door was stiff and made a dreadful noise when opening and closing it ! The net curtain looked like they had been in a tumble drier and were so crumpled !!!!!The actual curtains were not hung correctly,crumbling paint on the windows ,dreadful condensation !!!! We always sleep with the window open ! The cleaning regime is very lacking !!! The television was absolutely filthy,dust everywhere,not pleasant at all ! Never again !

We had great service polite the food was hot fresh and very tasty my husband especially loved the southern fried chicken better than kfc and my fish was delicious certainly be back for more highly recommend great price for the high quality

Can't explain how bad it was. At least 15mins to place my order. Waited half an hour for my order by time my order came I had drank my tea. Only ordered a toasted teacake and kids meal. It wasn't even what you would call busy loads of spare table. My grandson fell asleep waiting for his after saying wheres my dinner so slow.

Meals were put together with no care. No coffee available. Hairs were free with the burgers though.
