Very welcoming and friendly, the food good and service is always with a smile. Love going in just for a coffee or enjoying a meal.

Looking for a pub with a pool table so we could take the kids with us, pool, darts and skittles. Landlady was friendly and even showed the kids how to play on the skittles table, felt very comfortable drinking in there and the locals were really friendly too and all had a laugh when my 9 year old threw a dart at the fire alarm setting it off, will definitely be returning if we are not barred haha.....

Either not at this location or just closed at 11am when they say open on google maps.

Fantastic food dining in or takeaway... fabulous 👌 ...We have dinned here many times and every time we have received excellent service, excellent food and excellent value. It's one of the few restaurants where you actually feel like a welcome guest and friend. Highly recommended!

Just had a lovely meal at the Hungry Horse bear Meir Park, the meal itself was very tasty and the staff very friendly especially Millie Anne. The interaction between ourselves and Millie was lovely and easy with plenty of laughs.

Credit where its due. The place is a bit run down and badly in need of being done up. BUT the gaffer there puts his heart and soul into the place. Good food, good beer and good atmosphere. Dog friendly.

My friend and I stayed over for 1 night on Friday 25th October,we stayed in a twin room !!! I can not fault the staff ! This review isn’t about the staff who were absolutely brilliant ,and professional! Can’t fault the beds they were comfy and clean bedding ! The thing that is wrong with this place is it’s tired and it needs an absolute overhaul ,the bathroom,has mould around the bath a leaking shower head ! the bathroom door was stiff and made a dreadful noise when opening and closing it ! The net curtain looked like they had been in a tumble drier and were so crumpled !!!!!The actual curtains were not hung correctly,crumbling paint on the windows ,dreadful condensation !!!! We always sleep with the window open ! The cleaning regime is very lacking !!! The television was absolutely filthy,dust everywhere,not pleasant at all ! Never again !

Me and the lads were working in the area and we always have a Friday lunch takeaway and we found this chippy the boss man was a good laugh and the food was great definitely be back when working in the area 👍 Dimi

Absolutely awful service, waited at the till for more than 5 minutes waiting for staff to stop talking and acknowledge me, when I finally got my strawberry matcha latte, it was disgusting, so lumpy and completely undrinkable had to leave it after one sip and having lumps of powder in my mouth, for the price this is awful and I will not be going back! Do not waste your money or time waiting for it!!

Meals were put together with no care. No coffee available. Hairs were free with the burgers though.
