Visited this little known cafe today, what wonderful service. Food delivered to the table by the chef, complimentary coffee. Twice the chef checked everything is OK with my meal. Outstanding service and simply delicious food.

Wow, what a surprise this place turned out to be. We turned up on a Saturday night wanting some food. The bar staff were really friendly. (There looked to be a good selection of beers although we didn't try any.) The food was lovely, nice fresh ingredients and good flavour. Then the live music started as it was open mic night. A really good atmosphere! We'll certainly be returning.

Went with a mate in 2021, always said I would leave a review, finally getting round it. Tip top gaff. Owner was mega crack. Kicked a paedo out. First pub in the UK to have Madri. The rooms were clean. Close to Alton Towers, wetherspoons close by, avoid, spend your money in this proper gaff.

The Alessi hosted a charity evening and the food and service could not be faulted. The Alessi also made a generous donation to our raffle as well as helping us raise a significant amount for our cause through ticket sales. The restaurant is beautiful and we will be back again soon - thank you so much!

We've been to the Butchers for our Sunday lunch / birthday lunch for our eldest boy's birthday. Absolutely delicious. The boss and I had the creamy garlic mushrooms with Stilton on toasted focaccia while the boy had Thai fishcake with lime mayo. It was all really good then there was beef and all the trimmings, and although the portions were enough to feed more than us, Mum persuaded us to have a pudding. Waffle and ice cream for me profiteroles for the boss. We're currently sat in the garden, belts loosened, contentedly groaning and moaning about eating too much. First class. You need to book but would recommend without reservation.
