Return visit, friendly staff, good beer, great atmosphere, great traditional pub. Lovely beer garden for kids to play in.

Absolutely ace pub/ venue we have always used these for party's funerals christenings birthdays n just recently a prom for a disabled girl the staff go above and beyond would always recommend

Brilliant stop before match at Stoke fc - home fans made us away fans welcome, great beer affordable prices, no hot food but landlady phoned the nearby chippy for a delivery of fish & chip supper .....gt banter with Stoke supporters.

Attended a birthday party in the back function room. Fab night good service and friendly staff. Function room is a decent size and well set up for parties. Really busy here on stoke on games. Be back soon when in the area 😀

The Gardener's is a genuine local gem. The massive beer garden and location makes it excellent for a stop off on the way to the bet365 Stadium, with both Home and Away fans welcome. The large function room hosts regular live music events, and the main bar is just small enough to still be sociable on a quiet night. The large car park usually has spaces available (except matchdays, when it fills up quickly), and Ed is a great landlord who is always available to listen to suggestions and feedback. Highly recommended. Note that they don't serve food despite being listed in the restaurant section on TripAdvisor.

Near the Stoke ground...this place is awesome...it has a great outside area for the kids and a back function room too. Drinks are well priced...and the staff are great!
