The best restaurants in Alton Staffordshire Moorlands West Midlands

This restaurant is horrible! The food was cold, tasteless and expensive. For one adult, this buffet costs £21 and is only worth £1 in my eyes. The pizza was the worst I have ever tasted, with the pizza base being very thin and I am not 100% sure if the pizza was cooked all the way through to be honest. Further to this, the pasta was so watered down! It just tasted of nothing. Would definitely not recommend going.

The service was slow and the food poor to inedible. We had to request drink 3 times and the food took over half an hour to arrive. The veggie burger was disgusting. I had one mouthful and had to spit it out into my napkin. My husband tried the burger and also thought it was disgusting. None of my family enjoyed their meal, but mine was the worst. Husband told the waiter I had left to get food elsewhere as the burger was that bad. The restaurant admitted that they had received complaints about that menu item, but it is still on the menu. No offer to refund any money off the amount that we had paid. This was the worst meal I have ever been served.

Had a good buffet breakfast here but I saw a kid knock a ladle out of the baked beans, his mum picked it up and put it beside the tray and carried on. A few minutes later a staff member came out from the kitchen and started restocking some of the cereals. I told her what had happened, she looked at me and said “oh” and then carried on. I sat down thinking she was about to change the ladle but she went back to the kitchen and did nothing about it. 2 minutes later the ladle was back in the beans being used by another customer.

Too expensive, zero taste. Ordered chicken tikka wrap. Wrap naan was too hard.

The range of food was good, but the price did not include soft drinks. It is a buffet style restaurant. My son started vomiting approximately 6 hours after eating here, for roughly 12 hours. We would not go back.

My grandchildren and I went to Burger Kitchen on a rainy day on October 1st. The food is a little bit pricey but very good. One member of staff, Ruth Topping was exceptional. Very welcoming and gave lots of information, she made our visit very special. Thank you Ruth.

I expected the food to be of a fairly poor standard as all theme park food is pretty poor. However, this was worse than expected! The food is clearly pre-cooked and reheated. But not heated properly and was barely lukewarm. One of the worst meals I’ve ever been served. I know they have a captive audience but this is unacceptable.

No plates. Staff seemed offended when asked where they were. Really poor management

The food was OK but not the greatest. This seems to be a bit of a theme throughout the hotels. We had breakfast here, sausages were pretty dry, and so were the pancakes. The only bonus is that it was all you can eat.
