The only Halal place in Alton Tower. The food is over priced.

Too expensive, zero taste. Ordered chicken tikka wrap. Wrap naan was too hard.

Very expensive! I order a chicken tikka wrap which was alright but not £10 quality. I could get a full muchbox with the money I used to buy the food. Would not recommend.

Chicken tikka naan wrap. A tad expensive, at just shy of a tenner, but that's the general theme of the whole park, not just this place. The wrap was tasty though a little dry. No problem with the staff experienced. Pity they don't do a full-on chicken tikka masala with mushroom fried rice. Banging.

Well worth stopping ,we had chicken wrap nd it was delicious 😋. It’s quite an appetite.

Food was actually delicious! I had a donner naan wrap with mayo, chili sauce and salad and it was amazing. A really large potion as well, and it was made fresh and hot in a short amount of time. The thing was REALLY long and the man absolutely stuffed it with donner! It cost around £9 and though a bit pricy, it’s worth it. It leaves you feeling so full too, usually I never save food for later but with this one, I had to, which came in clutch since I could eat it mess free whilst waiting in the queues for rides.

Just ordered the food. The food I’ve ordered is Chicken tikka and onion baguette with coca cola. It is expensive though, but when I tried it, the chicken is alright but the onion was terrible as it makes me wanna throw up. I haven’t eaten all. But other than that, the staffs are nice. :)

I'm celiac and lactose intolerant, so finding food anywhere is nightmare. HOWEVER, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and helped me choose something 😀 made freshly. Can't thank them enough. Absolutely yummy. My son and mum had the normal wrpas, etc, which they said was fresh and tasty. Thank you to amazing staff 😉

Wrap wasn’t great, the wrap itself wasn’t really like a naan and the chicken was a bit tasteless. Wouldn’t order again.

Bland and tasteless food. Don’t go just because it’s halal

Food was terrible. I've got an upset stomach from it. The chips were overcooked and not nice and the wraps, tikka and kebabs tasted horrendous. The fact that this seems to be the only halal place in Alton Towers is such a shame. The sauce even tasted awful. It's also overpriced! Paid £70 for food that gave us diarrhea.

Nice place to grab a Halal meal in Alton Towers. We enjoyed the chicken nuggets and chips, the Chicken Tikka roll with nan and the Lamb Kebab roll with nan. The food was hot and tasted good.

You can have cheese on your chips for sn extra £1.50, however, when my daughter asked for cheese on her kebab wrap, our server went and spoke to his supervisor to ask if this was ok. The answer was that this is not allowed.

Wasted loads of money for some spicy wraps. It was horrible

Tasty and great value lunch had at Eastern Express! Really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka - didn’t expect to get a lunch for such good value (as normally bring my own) - very impressed!

Was rubbish sorry to say it but we got 3 wraps all had chilli sauce in we didn’t ask for we asked for Mayo but got no Mayo just chilli sauce the naan definitely wasn’t fresh as it was tough and my daughter broke her tooth eating it, the pictures show charcoal chicken tikka we probably got the microwaved chicken. Over priced paid £26.97 for the 3

Paid £5.95 for a large wrap with a piece of small sheesh kebab meat inside with a bit of lettuce & chilli sauce ,no meal options ie drinks or chips / side to go with this where as the burger place across offers a burger, fries & drink for £7.50, give this place a miss

Basic food at an incredibly inflated price. When purchasing I didn’t realise the price and wasn’t actually told by the vendor - £7.99 for a sausage in a dry baguette. Never again, an absolute rip off.

Halal food available for all We got a mixed kabab roll Chips and chicken nuggets and cold drinks reasonable price But filling and the queuing time wasn't that bad either Service was good and fast

Probably some of the best food you can get at Alton Towers - though that's not saying much, given the extent of their offering. However, the pricing has increased exponentially in the past few years - a wrap now costs £8 compared to £5 just 2 years ago. I think perhaps they are taking advantage of the current situation.

All the food is halal. But it’s pretty standard food, probs better to bring your own food I got the chicken wrap it was ok but very standard.

Food is decent, but £30 for two wraps, a sausage on a baguette, and two cokes!!! Get a grip

Ordered a chicken tikka wrap and some chips. The service was pretty fast. The chicken wrap was very dry and lacked flavour. Chips were ok but bit pricey. First and last time!

Food was cold, meat was rubbery, portions small and expensive.

Food was really dry and bland. Chilli sauce is tangy. Price is ridiculously expensive for the amount of food you get and the quality, really not good. Chicken nuggets and chips portion was the size of my palm. They need to improve. If I could award zero star, I would.

Food taste was way below average and the wraps were wrapped by someone who doesn't know how to do it yet. Fairly bad experience but unfortunately this is the only halal place at the park.

I enjoyed the mixed meat wrap and the chips were lovely. But unfortunately threw it all up multiple times. Don't know if that was because the food was dodgy or Rita, Smiler and Spinball got the better of me.. hmmm

Some of the worst take out food I have ever had. Chicken was cold and dry and the donner was slimy and bland. Would be expecting alot higher quality food for the ridiculous prices they are charging.

Awful food 3 quid for a small tray of cold chips

Easily one of the worst ‘food’ I’ve ever eaten! The doner was more like rubber than proper food. Never eat here, worst meal I have had in years!! Avoid!

Worst food ever, worst service ever, avoid like the plague. Refused to put Mayo or ketchup on food. I did this as I got the mixed donner wrap and made the mistake of putting their chilli sauce on the food. Big mistake, the chilli sauce tastes awful. If you do need meat as you want halal, and decide to add their nasty chilli sauce. Remember this review.

Always been my favourite place to eat at Alton Towers, until this year, sadly. The chicken tikka wraps have definitely dropped in quality- the wrap itself is now tasteless, and the chicken is dry. So disappointed as year after year I have always enjoyed their food

My all time favourite in Alton tower, but a bit pricey and portions are really small. And staffs rude if u ask for some sauces.

Located in Mutiny Bay, (Halal) food was ok yet very overpriced. Accepts cards and cash.

They do Halal food which is a relief for our families. Taste wise it's ok, Service is really quick I wish they could include Halal pizzas too! Before this we used to bring our own food due to unavailability of Halal food.

Excellent halal food! If you want halal or indian food, this is the best place to come whilst you are at Alton Towers!!! It's owned/run by the same people as the excellent Thornbury Hall indian restaurant not too far away (and apparently the only food outlet left in Alton Towers that isn't owned/run by the park) We got a table, but I can imagine it getting busy at some times.

Got a baked potato, beans and cheese here on Saturday, the food was fresh, tasty and a good portion I would highly recommend

Amazing place for South Asian food. veggie and vegan options are excellent and service is quick. very good value and a great alternative to the usual greasy bland and processed rubbish you get elsewhere at a theme park. Also, very family friendly.

I bought a a sausage in a bun from the eastern bar. As he was about to make it he sneezed on the bun and proceeded to compile the sandwich together. As much as it may of added to the taste, not wanting to come down with some illness passed on through his mucus, I asked him to stop making the bun and explained to his manager what had happened. The manager then offered me a full card refund which i accepted. Only to find out this morning on my pending transactions, that no refund was given. Not only that he had charged me twice!!!!. So instead of refuning me for a sandwich I did not receive, he actually charged me AGAIN.

Great little goat curry. Bit distracting with the cashier mid transaction shouting out that he was still waiting to get his hand on a child's sausage, but hey ho....

Variety was minimal but nevertheless food was tasty. Expensive but as expected from a theme park.

Shocking and Terrible Service. Rice was not cooked properly (hard) and staff who were serving us (extremely rude) kept whispering to her colleague not to give more than 5 "little" pieces of lamb and little sauce which makes the rice very dry!! Will 💯% never go here again... AVOID!!! not worth a sine penny at all. Also, one customer had naan in his hand, decided he did not want the naan and gave it back to the young Asian lady working on the tills and she decided to put it back with the other naans rather than throwing away in bin... You do not know where the naan has been firstly by the customer...it was Shocking!!!

Awful coffee but the food is OK

The manager was loud and shouting at his staff while customers were queuing the lad (Lewis) who served us was a good lad but the rest was arrogant now to the food .. The most disgusting food I ever ate !!! They should do themselves a favour and close it down completely

Food was horrid as so was the staff, the only halal so called 'restaurant' which limits our options! Very poor quality food at steep prices so definitely don't recommend to others!

Quick food, tasty enough for the day out in a theme park

Food quality was really poor. Wouldn't eat here again. The children's chicken nuggets were the cheapest, nastiest nuggets I've ever dried. My husband and I had donner baguettes; the donnor meat was tasteless, and the baguette was pure white. Nasty.

The Asian snacks are terrible, fresh chips though. Good luck finding condiments

Out of all the place we visited on our trip this was the worst. Sausages were not nice but I think they was using the onions to cover the taste as I had about 2 onions piled into one hot dog roll.

The only halal place in alton towers which is a benefit for halal eaters but the food is absolutely vile overpirced and not worth wasting your money. Take a packed lunch trust me you would be better off

Overcharged us twice on both days we were at the theme park. When confronted, gave me a refund. To happen twice in 2 days is disgusting. We even went to their Restaurant which is in the owners house about a 5 min drive from Alton Towers. Never again. Such rude staff.

Very average food but if you're looking for something quick to eat and halal in Alton Towers, this is the best you're going to get

Resonablly priced for a theme park I recommend the chicken tikka kebab from here it was very nice, we also ordered chips they were overcooked and hard, hotdog was the worst sausage I have ever tasted so I'd advoid that, ketchup was watered down.

Two restaurants menus on the board but you have to go out side for half of the menu, ketchup is watered down

The only takeaway in Alton Towers that is not owned or ran by Towers. They are independently owned. Every other restaurant was driven out by towers hiking up contracting costs. But these guys survived and I'm so glad they have as their wraps are amazing. Chicken tikka and lamb donna wrap with cool mint sauce is the best thing to keep you warm during the firework events.

Yummy food for a run packed day

Good place for a quick eat, good menu choice and reasonable prices.

Inside Alton decent Curry restaurant with Table seating. Wrap counter is good definitely worth a try. Curry food is also served with Rice if you have a big appetite..

The food was tasting great until I noticed that my chicken masala contained chicken that was raw inside. Not at all pleasant!

Quick and cheerful food, but I was very suprised at how tastey and fresh it was. Prices weren't too bad either, considering we were in the theme park.

Had the lamb wraps which to look at were great. Take a bite however and it was very pink in the middle. For 7 quid not impressed, but the queue to try and get it replaced was so long I just binned it. Disappointing.

The food is always lovely from Eastern Express and reasonably priced. There's a wide selection of food choices available 🙂

Food was ok but they could have done it better . Been few time end up sitting out side with my children . Tables and chairs unclean!! Served out wrong food to my child order chicken tikka masala with rice . Got some vegetables curry instead not happy . Overall food was ok not spicy enough for me mild taste!! Ok for children.

Lovely kebab wrap full of flavour and nice chips and a fair pricw

About the only non-burger (etc) food place in Alton Towers. Curry tolerable, ok for this type of venue. Kebabs very fresh, we'll worth a try. Often quiet in here because most people want burgers!
