Cheadle Kebab And Pizza House in Staffordshire Moorlands

Just visited this place and the man asked me if I wanted sauce with my chips and I replied yes then asked me if I wanted sauce with my small chips so the first one was the DONNER meat and chips not chips so I realised when I got to the car. As this was my daughters I took it straight back in and asked for a dinner meat and chips without sauce and wanted to charge me again although it was his mistake. So I left it on the counter and we are now away for a Chinese. Would avoid this place

Had two kebabs 1 special, 1 small , the specials used to be brilliant from here , the meats still as good but just plain salad like all the other takeaways now , shame as there cooked pepper and onion made them stand out from the competition

Recommended from the Alton towers staff in the hotel . Absolute poor service and cold food .. disgusting overall.over a hour late too . Food arrived,all paper wrapping dripping wet, cold food and rude driver .

Ok so I don't eat meat so can only vouch for the veggie pizza which was lovely. The shop.has just been given a 5 hygiene rating which I always look for. Staff were polite and efficient and very busy preparing lots of orders. Would definitely go again. Great two for Tuesday offer which we took advantage of so 2 pizzas was £10.50 total

We arived super late and these amazing guys still took the time and effort to bring us the pizza, They really made our evening Definitely recommended

We were staying at Alton towers and came here Friday night and again Saturday . We weren’t going to because the reviews were poor but on Friday after driving 9 hours we couldn’t be bothered looking for anywhere else so decided to chance it. We had 3 pizzas and a kids chicken popcorn, it was lovely and they gave us a free garlic bread. It was so nice we came back on Saturday night and my husband tried the chicken burger this time and said it was also lovely. We are glad we chanced it and cost wise it’s very good for a family of 4 needing fed. The poor reviews are unjustified in our eyes. Highly recommend it’s most definitely not dreadful. 5 stars from us.

Had a delivery, delivery driver refused to take a note because it had a small nick in it. Just kept saying no and waving it at me and pointing at it, despite note being perfectly legal. Someone should educate them as to what does and doesn’t constitute a note being legal

Lovely food. Really nice pizzas were delivered to Alton Towers Splash Landings hotel. We called and they agreed to deliver the order where we are at Alton Towers and everything in the order came perfectly. The food was piping hot, really enjoyed. For anyone staying at Alton Towers Splash Landings hotel its really worthy ordering halal fold from here, very good service, food better than Alton Towers, worthy.

The chicken burger was sent just plain with no sauce or salad in it. I mean who would just eat that without any sauce or salad?!?! Even McDonald's who charge way less for chicken burger put salad and sauce in their burgers!! Also the Donner kebab was sent without any sauce on it, even though I requested this. We struggled to eat the burger and kebab without any sauces. For the amount they charge for the food, at least put a couple of sauce sachets, etc in the bag. Not even a single napkin was in the bag. Disappointing to say the least.

Stayed at alton towers and thought we would order from here. food arrived on time but was cold and the order came wrong. our little girl is gluten free so ordered plain grilled chicken which didn't arrive, contacted the takeaway and they admitted fault then told us it would 40 mins for delivery and wanted us to pay for there mistake so she eat cold chips instead. Customer service was terrible, rude do not order from here

The most horrendous service when we ordered. Order over £85 of food for it to be delivered 2 and half hours later - all stone cold. In contact with retailer all the time. Reading the reviews I hope trading standards get involved with this shop. Absolutely disgraceful attitude of the staff. Requested refund but they weren't bothered at all. All food wasted. WARNING- DO NOT ORDER!!

Absolutely shocking...order arrived via very rude delivery driver demanding why my phone was off..it wasn't! Orderd chicken burger received beef burger good job no allergies. Food was cold and inedible. Will be reporting

That bad I don't know where to start. Food arrived after 2 hrs of waiting and was stone cold. Was in constant contact with them but they didn't really know where our good was and didn't care when we called to say it was all cold. Wouldn't offer any refund on an £85 order and was all inedible.

We Stopped at the Alton Towers Resort and we popped out for some food this is by far the best Kabab and Pizza Place in the Area. Will definitely be going here again when we stop at Alton Towers again its the place to go.

I ordered 3 x 14” pizzas yesterday at 19:45 with a delivery time of 21:35. At 21:40 my app (Just Eat) states it has been delivered. It wasn’t actually delivered until 23:45. My order number is 55283835. I want a full refund. The food was disgusting due to It being delivered so delayed.

Ordered food tonight, was over 2 hours, we ring after an hour told 20 mins, no food came, rang again.. yes definitely 2o mins this time.. Still no food, rang again, he just leaving, 30 mins later, he turned up with wrong food, so I phoned and asked for my order to be told I was wrong, because she made food herself and she doesn't make mistakes 😆 I have my receipt right in front of me, she said no correct order being given or refund, I have two children with autism that was very upset after waiting hours for their food. She was so rude and I urge anyone to order somewhere else.

Ordered beef kebab last night the steak was chopped up and was full of gristle it didn't taste right and I struggled to eat it as had to pull the meat off the gristle & sinews! Never been so disappointed ! Threw it in the bin !

We were over at the Alton Towers and before heading back felt a little hungry so googled this place. Will say this that, it was we worth the visit. Freshly made pizza with garlic bread made the travel back even more fun. Whenever I'm over at Alton Towers food stop will be here for sure at Cheadle Kebab and pizza house. We’re currently staying at Alton Towers and I’ve seen a lot of people on the group say they always order from here when they visit, so we thought we would do the same - waiting time was long! But with being on a strict diet, the food tasted Devine 😂 could only eat half, as not use to eating the portion sizes like this anymore. If we ever stayed at splash landings again, I will certainly be returning.

Ordered a pizza deal with two pizzas, garlic bread, two cheese burgers and two chips, only received the two pizzas and garlic bread. Called the shop and they called us liars, hope the driver and his missus in the passenger seat had a good meal.

Called in whilst staying at Hales Hall. Got fish and chips and kebabs. The fish was burnt and was not eatable. The kebab was fine. Would not recommend to anyone

Used to love this take away, the last few kebabs have been poor - Nan breads aren’t even Nan breads anymore just a doughy wrap& tonight I found 2 black hairs in my chicken. The first one I thought ah it’s okay one off, but then found a second. Food quality gone so low and rubbish but the prices have continued to increase. Sorry guys I always really enjoyed your food too but think I shall be giving it a miss now!

We always order from here when staying at alton towers. Yes it took over an hour to arrive but it was so worth it. Tasty food and good portion sizes. Highly recommended

Ordered a takeaway and it took 2 hrs to arrive… the last few times I’ve ordered a takeaway it’s taken longer than an hour and a half….when you call, you get told “…the driver has just left…” coincidently… 🤔 Will NOT be ordering from here again - shame as I’ve been using this business for the past 8 years… ☹️

We have been coming Alton towers for 15 years and always came to Cheadle kebab it is one of the best kebabs I’ve been. From London that’s saying something. This year reviews were low??? I rang and ordered and so glad we did. Another year on and chicken kebab, salad and chips were cooked and served with no complaints. Hot wings perfect and qtr pounder and chips were so nice. We stayed at quarry walk and the delivered to our accommodation. Good price. Excellent food and fast delivery with great communication to met them at the gate. Don’t be put off. Also they do the best chill sauce. Thank you. Enjoy

Would give 0 stars if could ordered from foodhub and it didn't give a description of the pizza and sent one with things on that I'm allergic to and they wouldn't help me because I ordered it from food hub. Took an hour and half to get delivered also. Customer service was terrible took her I had an allergy and she said OK with a snarky attitude.

Spending the day at Alton towers I rang this place a week before to check. They delivered here, placed an order at 3.30 for delivery at 5.30 4.00 got a phone call asking me to collect the order, explained we wanted it at 5.30 we then got a call at 4.40 telling us to meet the driver at reception, had to leave our event early for this, the food arrived cold, will not be using again, heard similar reviews from other guests and staff

Usually its ok but my last delivery was poor.. 1hr 40 we waited when we only live 5 mins away. The food wasn't up to the usual standard feel like I wasted my money as I ended up throwing it away...not happy

My whole family have had takeaway food from here, the food has always been delicious & plenty of it.

Got a takeaway delivered to Alton towers Was told an hour wait but had to phone them after 1hour and 20 mins to ask where it was and they told me 30 more minutes which is ridiculous considering how long we were waiting. We ordered the pizza meal deal and it came burnt and the burgers were made not how we ordered. One of the family members had a terrible stomach the next day and the rest of us not so good. Will not be ordering here again !!

Do not order from these, tonight we have ordered a meal from cheadle kebab house and to our surprise my son started choking on the food, when we managed to get the food dislodged it turned out that a piece of hair was cooked inside the batter of the chicken, you could hold this hair up and the batter would not fall off. When the staff were showed they were argumentative and rude. Not professional at all.

Ordered food through Just Eat. The app then said delivered 45 mins later and it had not been delivered. So contacted them and they off handly said we haven't made the order and were really busy, with a, "it will be as soon as we can" still waiting an hour and a half later and dont think its coming now. For a business that sells food an delivers, I'm a bit confused. But oh well they shall never receive another penny off of us ever again. Do not use Cheadle Kebab House.

Both me and my partner have been terribly sick since eating from here. I ordered a steak kebab and the steak was mushy and my partner ordered a doner kebab and not long after eating complained of feeling poorly. Won't be ordering from here again

The real meat kebab skewers served on Nan here are awesome, good fries and pizzas too.

Passed through Cheadle on the way home and grabbed some fried chicken. Absolutely delicious 😋 Can't recommend enough!

Delivered the wrong meals , ordered chicken kebabs got 3 Donna meat and chips- when asked to rectify the issue they laughed and said it was just eats problem not there’s.

We found mould in our food. It was covered in mayo so it wasn't seen until it was too late and some had been eaten. Absolutely disgusting

Wow, I had a 3 pei e value box. The chicken was burned and had been there probably all night before they had sent it out to me. The Doner meat was the cheapest possible quality and the size of the whole meal was shocking for the price. Delivery was fast and prompt and arrived way before the time scale they had advised me. Sorry, Cheadle Kebab and Pizza house but it's a defo no from me. Buy better, fresher and a much higher quality of products and you'll be much busier and not just phoned cus you're open the latest when other takeaways are closed.

Best doner meat in North Staffs.

I can't recommend this take away enough. I visited alton towers twice last month and ordered from here. Absolutely amazing. I have never tasted kebab meat like it. So full of flavour and great size portions. Kids ordered pizza and I tried that and was lovely. I'm not from the area and now I'm home it's totally ruined take aways for me as nothing compares to this. I get text messages with offers ( not sure how I signed up for that, maybe when I got a delivery) but its so gutting everytime I do knowing I'm 3 hours away and can't have one. Will definitely be back when I pass or next stay in the area.

Ordered as a family 6 meals, took well over an hour to be delivered, and then a meal was missing when it was delivered, rang them to tell them and they wanted someone to collect, if we were able to collect in the first place we wouldn’t of paid for delivery? After the phone going blank and ringing back they said they would deliver the missing meal in 15 minutes, 25 minutes later it turned up and had a hair in it!!! If they are not able to get delivery drivers - don’t offer delivery! And for god sakes wear some kind of hair net so the hair doesn’t go in peoples foods! Takeaway options in cheadle are very poor in general but this place disappoints every time.

Higher than normal prices due to no competition! Really salty kebab meat and rock hard chips. Little one did get a free cup of juice but didn't soften the blow of the prices

We ordered a normal kebab and the meat was as tough as rock . DONT COME HERE🤮. Wouldn’t even feed a dog it .We called them for a refund and all we got back was ‘we are going to hang up’

Please all do yourself a favour and do NOT order from here. This was the lamb kebab I ordered it was so tough I could not even pull it apart with my sharp nails. They blamed it on the suppliers and refused to give me a refund. The lamb kofte was rock hard you would not give this food to your dog. What makes me angry the most is they just said they’re going to hang up because there’s nothing they will do….. The manager wouldn’t even come to the phone. Shame on you Cheadle 🤮🤢

Ordered food for my family and was amazed at how overcooked and tough our meat and chicken wings were !! I’d never normally write on review pages but the way the spoke to us in response was terrible…… weren’t interested and basically said “there’s nothing we can do “ and hung up the phone !!! I have used these guys for several years. Last night I spent £26.00 with them because I had guests staying with me. So let down..... Can of pop missing and the 2 x nan cheese garlic breads @ a total of £7.00 could not even be eaten, so hard and over cooked. I can say 100% I will now be looking for a new takeaway to order from! Usually good but just had a value box with hardly any kebab meat on at all and very few chips.Call in regularly after work but won’t be again.

3/4 of a pint of smelly fat included poured out of the donner kebab box . The paper within the bag that was wrapped around the kebab box and chip box were dripping in fat. It was that vile I threw the lot in the bin . I had to wash my hands 5 times before the stench of the grease would go. If I had eaten that I'm sure I would of needed medical attention. I will NEVER USE AGAIN . AVOID !

Hot chicken fat melted polystyrene box, food tasted like burnt rubber smells, and went in the the bin. Feel ripped off as well as guilty and disgusted with myself to feeding this potential poison to my children. Avoid.

Just had a great take away from this place, delivered on time, great value for money, the kebab feast was especially good, easily feeds 3 people for 16.00.

They keep spamming my phone and email with promotions I never signed up for. A swift report to the GDPR office should teach them a lesson on data protection and unsolicited data sharing. They are like a bad penny that you can't get rid of!

Had a few meals from here now and today's will be the last. Chips are ALWAYS massively undercooked (almost raw to the point you could still hear Mr potatoe head complaining about being chopped up in to fries. Tonights meat "feast" pizza was no feast..... Either the beef that covered the entire base was raw or it was ground up squirrel...... Absolutely nasty..... I'll stick to biting my nails from now on thanks...

2 pizzas and onion rings ordered.......garlic bread arrived as a free extra....none of which were very good.......pizza and garlic bread bases were more like cakes than pizza bases......onion rings weren't too bad......but let's face it......they don't really make up for naff pizza.........definitely better nipping morrisons for a couple of frozen pizzas........this one's definitely off the list!!!! Absolutely disgusting.. asked for delivery to alton towers said yeah that's fine 40 to 50 mins.. brilliant.... then 1 hrs 20 mins still no food 68 quid order.. finally arrived.. missed the 2 donna wraps off.. telephone agent agreed her fault and that she would replace within 30 mins.. my 2 girls were already hungry. Put a large order in over £75, whilst waiting for the delivery to arrive we had to phone up and check as still waiting 1 hour in and we were told that we would receive a free ottle and garlic bread. Sat waiting and after 2hrs waiting the food eventually turned up and they tried to give us the wrong order. We sat down and gave the food out and 3/4 of the food was cold. We checked the menu and it stated that with any order over £35 we got a free garlic bread ond a bottle which got which we just got with our meal. Very disappointed and if in this area again we will not be using their services again.

Placed order at18-10 order was supposed to be 55 mins came2 hours later pitta bread hard chips like bullet's will not be going there again.

My husband went into this kebab shop and placed an order for 2 large lamb kebabs both with chilli sauce one with garlic sauce, I have a very bad reaction to garlic it makes me quite poorly hence its a genuine no no.Got the food home to discover both had copious garlic sauce. Called them and they asked for the kebab back for there "stock management ". They sent out a replacement utterly laced with chilli sauce and just lumps of fat instead of meat. I can eat a decent amount of chilli but this was ridiculous. The meat was basically gristle swimming in chilli. Totally disgusting lack of service. If you want to get something you didn't order then go here otherwise a wide birth.

Awful oil soaked pizza base, tasteless cheese & they seem to have forgotten that Margherita pizza's have a margharita tomato sauce under the cheese. We couldn't tell the difference between the pizza & the cheesy garlic bread, again the cheapest processed tasteless cheese & oil soaked, stodgy crust. Called up & they offered to send another pizza, we tirned it down & we should have been offered a refund! I have no complaints about other food I've had from here, but please get proper pizza bases, tasty proper cheese & sauces. I wouldn't recommend a pizza from here, absolute tasteless, oil soaked stodge!!

Maragarhita pizza should be cheese and tomato. If you want it to taste tomato you will need to ask for extra puree as they their recipe uses the bare minimum of puree so you basically get cheese on a stodgy base. Not what I consider an authentic pizza.

Hour and half for a cold, flat dry pizza. Cold chicken burger and a garlic bread that was like cardboard. Not happy!

I love this place! Tuesday's Pizza collection deal is awesome, amazing value. Kebabs are spot on strongly recommend their chicken kebab with a naan bread it's divine. Delivery is quick, staff are friendly and patient well worth checking out.

This evening I bought a 14 inch pizza and a kebab. I took one bite of the pizza and through it away. It is, without a doubt, the worst pizza I have ever had, it was absolutely awful. The pizza base was like stale bread, the sauce did not taste of tomato, the cheese was completely tasteless and the ham taste like something which belonged in a tin of pedigree chums. As for the kebab, I am lost for words. This people, is not food! Update - I’ve just read other reviews from the victims staying at Alton Towers… I just wish I had read the reviews. DON’T GO HUNGRY, READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU ORDER!!!!!
