The Roebuck Inn in Staffordshire Moorlands

I love everything about this pub, the staff, the atmosphere, the food, the customers! Everyone is so friendly and in a short time I have made lots of new friends. The landlady puts her heart and soul into the pub and ensures everyone has a good time. As a female I feel completely safe going into this pub alone!

Visited here today with my parents for Mother’s Day and to celebrate my dads 83rd birthday on Wednesday. All the tables were busy, but it was lovely that the landlord still took time to chat and show and interest in my dad given he was born in the pub in 1940, when it was owned by his aunt and uncle at that time. It really made my dads day how the staff shown an interest. We had various meals and all of them were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. We weren’t waiting long for the food after ordering and the staff went above and beyond with the service throughout. I don’t drink beer myself but my dad had a sample of the Roebuck bitter and loved it, I would recommend The roebuck and would like to thank them for a lovely afternoon. We look forward to returning again, we live 20 miles away, and it was well worth the visit

Visited here with friends and had a fabulous night. Atmosphere was fabulous, staff were both friendly and attentive and the live music was fantastic. Would definitely go there again.

Even at 1.30pm in the afternoon.?! Snappy bar man waited for us all to enter the building before telling us we weren't allowed to bring our daughter in.

Great beer always a warm welcome. Pork pies are a must and they put on some great entertainment during the week. Open mic Tuesday, bingo on a Thursday and good local bands on at the weekend

Great atmosphere, Sky sports TV on and a wide choice of drinks available. Recently been done up to include an outside seating area with outdoor tv and music and also a pizza oven. Wide range of entertainment on. Highly recommended as the best pub locally to the area.

Excellent pizzas - tried for the first time tonight and very impressed - delicious - will certainly be having them again ! This has always been a great village pub but with the latest improvements, it's been taken to a new level. Congratulations on your entrepreneurship and vision - you have given the village a fantastic asset !

Lovely beer garden, popped in for a quick drink, usual choices, went in the afternoon so was quite quiet, but nice and friendly.

We found it to be a very warm, friendly, local/village pub. Nice clean decor - Good selection of beers. Friendly staff. There was a open Mic music night on with some talented artists & we caught a FANTASTIC band called Bear Withers.....Great night.

Lovely old fashioned pub. The landlord is really friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Well done to all at the remembrance service, the new gates are wonderful.

Had a meal here . Beautiful ! . I had the burger n chips . Burger was home made and really tasty chips were chunky and home made too . Husband had steak n ale pie chips . Loads of meat and equally as tasty . The beer here wasn't the best . 2 pints were exchanged
