My grandchildren and I went to Burger Kitchen on a rainy day on October 1st. The food is a little bit pricey but very good. One member of staff, Ruth Topping was exceptional. Very welcoming and gave lots of information, she made our visit very special. Thank you Ruth.

Worst burger I've ever had in my entire life. Being ripped off in a theme park; expected. But eating something not even fit for a dog? No, not expected. We all had to force it down as we were starving. We didn't want to spend what little time we had complaining, as we had to get queuing for rides again to justify the expense to get it the place. What we thought was a treat, instead of bringing our own food, was absolutely not a treat. It was a form of torture. Like being on I'm a celebrity get me out of here. In fact, kangaroo bollucks sound quite appealing compared to an Alton Towers burger. Do better Merlin, do better.

Alton Towers, what have you done to your burgers? I know they used to be the run of the mill type of burger, and on the pricey side. But now they taste cheap and nasty - just horrible. Don't get me on to the price, I had to remortgage my house to pay for lunch. Seriously, the quality and the price of the food will start to affect people's experience of their day out. Please do something about it, as I love your recent improvements with the park but something as simple as your food options will leave a nasty taste in people's mouths (pardon the pun).

I cannot even begin to think of the words to describe this burger to put into context how bad it actually was. Firstly we were pretty much the only ones in there, yet still waited 10-15 mins for a burger at a "fast" food restaurant. Food cost was something like 13 quid for a normal meal, at least that annual pass softened the blow, in retrospect, I wouldn't eat one of their burgers again even if they paid me. Chips were average, as expect in a fast food joint. But the burger was a whole other level, as you go to eat it, you could smell it, it didn't smell like a normal burger, it didn't smell right at all. The burger patty was hard, you could smash a window with it if you throw it hard enough. Then taking a bite it was chewy, me and my girlfriend just looked at each other while both chewing 30 times in our first bite to try get it down the hatch. I tried another couple of bites, the burger was stringy, there was tough fat holding it together. After a couple of bites I felt sick at the thought of having another and gave up, my girlfriend had two bites and called it a day there. I must've eaten hundreds upon hundreds of burgers in my 32 years on this earth, I've never not finished one or even thought about writing a review for one. But this was honestly so awful I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It left a terrible taste in your mouth that repeats on you all day long. We should've really took it back and asked for a refund, but we were hungry and just said screw it and left to go elsewhere for a snack. I rarely would say something like this, but someone literally needs fired, absolute garbage. Do not visit here! I will never return as long as it remains a Burger Kitchen, bring it back as a KFC or MCD's, or even better @AltonTowers, do what you've done with something like the Woodcutters. Would love to see Bianca's reaction chowing down on this crap, sort it out.

Visoted alton towers today for my daughters birthday and kids decided they wanted burgers so we came here. The lady serving us had dirty finger nails, kept touching her hair (long fringe) not going back to wash her hands after or at least using sanitiser. Then straight away grabbed our drink cups and went to fill them. This was when i noticed VERY dirty finger nails. This alone shows that this place is not safe to eat especially given the current pandemic situation. After we sat down to eat we tried to quickly eat and leave. I haven't even finished putting stuff away into my kids pram and another lady was waitong riggt by our table - not social distancing at all with a bag full of rubbish and a cloth to wipe our table. So they serve food with dirty hands yet can't wait 1 minute for us to finish to wipe the table. To add to this, she did not hold any sanitiser or at least a cleaning spray to clean rhe table just a bag of rubbish and cloth so don't see the point in doing that when i already wiped the table with baby wipes. Will definitely visit the park again but NEVER eat here again. The food itself was not too good. Nuggets were hard (as if microwaved), burgers very messy - the aauce was spilling all over and everything was very oily as if they took it out of oil and straiggt into the bun wothout even a little shake to get the oil off. Disgusting and vert off putting place... definitely would not recommend.

Visited today 15/08/2020. Some of our party had burgers some had nuggets and chips. The burgers were served in cheap buns and had obviously been left standing for many hours then reheated. The reheated chips were vile I could only mange two. My six year old was violently ill after eating the nuggets and we are currently trying to nurse him back to health now. The place is a health hazard and in desperate need of some professional food hygiene instruction. Disgusting.

We ate in 2 of the Burger Kitchens - the sit down one by the Dungeons and the take away outside the WickerMan ( we were there for 3 days). The take away had a mobile app so you didn’t need to queue, as long as you had Wi-Fi/ mobile data. Food was ready in approx 10 mins which we thought was fine and we sat on the rocks by WickerMan on one day and in the courtyard seating area in Mutiny Bay on another day.The Burger Kitchen by the dungeons were really quiet (they had been closed the other 2 days which may be why or perhaps everyone was sitting on the grass as it was v hot) . They had taped off alternate tables and had specific doors to enter and leave in order to enable adherence to social distancing.Crispy chicken fillets are our favourite!

We visited as part of scarefest 2019 and I have to say I was impressed with this restaurant. The value wasn’t bad for a theme park eatery. The burgers were mice, chips were good and the drinks are self serve so you can fill up a couple times. The tables were clean, sauces were Heinz, I mean it was good. All of us felt we had gotten a good meal for a decent price. Well worth a visit.

One thing I have always noted at AT is how unlike their other attractions they do not have the usual fast food giants (KFC/ BK for example, who do fast food so much better than this)The queue was atrocious and no one really seemed to know what was happening, especially as we got stuck behind a school group with a teacher ordering somewhere in the region of £120 worth of food for a large group. Eventually a lady told us what the hold up was and took us to another till. We ordered the double cheeseburger meals, and I can't say I was impressed in the slightest. The bun was dry and cheap, as was the meat. We needed to douse it in condiments just to be able to swallow it! The fries were soggy and tasteless (rather like old cardboard box) and thank god it came with a drink as I fear I may have had remnants of it stuck in my throat for the rest of the day! Several years back we ate at the nearby Woodcutters Grill which was slightly more expensive but infinitely more expensive. I don't know why, but I just expected a little more from this one seeing as it is not the standard junk food chain! Thankfully, it did not cost too much with our annual passes giving us 20% discount, although I suppose the old 'you get what you pay for' rings true here.

Having recently come back from Walt Disney World in Orlando, I was looking forward to my trip from Alton Towers. However, the customer service was appalling and the staff so rude! We had to wait 20 minutes for our food at one 'quick service' stall. When I questioned what was taking so long, I was accused of taking it already! Clearly I hadn't and had no where to hide it! They then made us wait an extra 10 minutes, gave me a chicken salad rather than a chicken burger. Oh and forgot the chips! All of this happened with the member of staff swearing - not exactly great for a 'family park' and she did not even apologise! However, the rides were great with minimal waits. I would recommend the runaway mine train, the smiler and rita. The chicken i had was tasteless with minimal garnish, the chips were slightly undercooked and unappetising. I feel consumers would much prefer a choice of branded restaurants and food options to enhance there experience in the park, as the best parks in america do.

food from here was lovely, i paid £7.25 for a chicken burger deluxe meal so i got medium drink and chips with this as well. All of it was lovely. A little over priced but we did expect that. Did have to Que for about 10 minutes but once order food came pretty quick.

Marlin now offer its own in house catering and it's much better. The burgers are the best, nice and simple and a good price. The Burger kitchens are a great place for a quick bit to eat.

It's obvious Alton Towers are cutting back on staff and so the queues for all food were very long. The food itself was very good and hot. Can't comment on value as had all day dining so just went large on everything!

The burger didn't taste of much (had much better at Burger King or MacDonalds), the chips were OK and the onion rings were more like onion bits than rings, as they were all small strips rather than rings! Overpriced for what it is but it's food on the go and we didn't expect much so weren't disappointed.

Trading on captive audience by the skyride. Waited ages in the queue but then the food arrived quickly, alas the wrong order but so hungry just ate it. Staff work hard but food lacks any taste. Felt quite sick in fact afterwards, but that was probably my fault for going on Nemesis straight after!!

I didn#t really want to have a theme park burger for lunch but the kids dragged us in and it was actually much much better than i thought it would be - and £27 for 4 of us to eat and drink, so no complaints at all...and clean and fast!

Expensive food which took an absolute age to order and an absolute age to prepare and cook. Overall I waited about half an hour for a burger and chips meal with the queuing and waiting. Thorpe Park have franchised fast food chains - think it's time AT did the same.

I'd rate it better than average, but certainly not very good. Our meals for 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) cost £30, which isnt bad baring in mind its in a theme park. The service was good and quick, the place was clean and while the burgers we had were ok, they wernt anything to write home about.
