Amazing traditional Moroccan food served by Abdullah and his family. They so welcoming and they explain in detail what they are serving that day and what's in it. We had the Moroccan chicken curry which was superb and flavourful. They have a daily menu and they offer Moroccan sweet treats along with peppermint tea which is served in an ornate tea set. I would highly recommend a visit.

Great pub, lovely outside seating area and always a bubbly welcome from Sophie and the dogs. Highly recommend a visit if you're passing through.

We have had several take away meals from this restaurant over the last few months and they have been very good, so we decided to book a sit down meal. The restaurant is situated above the Coach and Horses pub, so 2 flights of stairs. I didnt see a lift or stair assist, so anyone who finds stairs difficult may have problems with access. The restaurant is licenced, so no bringing your own drinks We were warmly welcomed and shown our table. Within a very short time the drinks were served and menus handed out. The food was excellent, not huge portions but very tasty and well presented. I would advice to book as tables are limited and I noticed people were waiting for a table when we left. We would recommend this restaurant

Food was decent, halloumi starter cooked well, katsu curry was tasty and chicken was decent pieces of breast. Sizzler lacked a bit of flavour. Service was very friendly and good when we walked in, had drinks, starters, mains, then it was non existent. We were the only ones there. A lady walked in said everything okay, I said yes we've finished, she didn't clear our mains. Then a man came in, started cleaning an empty table next to us, didn't clear our mains, he went out then came back in and still didn't clear mains. We were going to look at the dessert menu but by now we were fed up so just walked up to the bar and settled the bill. No atmosphere you could her a pin drop in the room, perhaps some low level background music?

Before I review this restaurant and meal, I must declare that my partner and I were here redeeming a buy a gift voucher, a Christmas present. The menu was limited. The voucher was for a 2-course lunch, so I can only judge on this special menu. We arrived and were promptly seated upstairs at a very nice table by a window looking out towards the Lake. A smiling young lady asked us for our drink order, these were not included on the voucher. It would have been nice if she had introduced herself by giving her name; these little touches overlooked by restaurants do help with good customer service. After a a short while our order was taken. The voucher entitles you to two courses, a starter and a main or a main and a dessert. You can plump for all 3 with an extra cost added at the end. I went for a beef crunchy salad, which was very nice and moorish my partner went for the mushroom soup, a little over seasoned but on all accounts not bad. The mains had 3 selections which included a veggie option, We were told on arrival that one of the selections was not available but had been replaced by a Shepherd's pie. We both went for this option. The Pie was served in a miniature saucepan filled with a very well-cooked lamb mince with miniature carrots, peas, and leek, topped off with a fluffy mashed potato, New baby potatoes in their skins and a nice Lamb gravy with greens supplied from Weston Parks very own walled garden. Very nice. This was exceptional, possibly the best Shepherds Pie we have ever had bravo to the chef. I decided to go for a Dessert; my partner went for a liquor coffee. A sticky Toffee pudding was chosen by myself . At this point in the proceedings, things started falling apart. My partner was served her drink pretty quickly, but my pud seemed to take ages to arrive. It is always good restaurant etiquette to serve things together. This did not happen. The Pudding was very good, nice sponge with a lovely sticky topping and a scoop of the most creamy tasty ice cream produced in Shropshire . This was, again, exceptional. Overall a nice meal deserving of the one AA Rosette just a pity the small things spoiled what was a very good lunch.
