We had a meeting of our car club here, in total there was 13 of us. The food took a little while to come out, but when it did come to the table it was both fresh and hot. The menu had quite an extensive selection on it, which can be a poor sign of fresh quality. Thankfully all the food was of a good quality. The menu had some imaginative dishes alongside the usual pub favourites like bangers and mash or fish and chips. I would be more than happy to make a return visit.

Only went because my son was doing an experience day at the zoo next door. We’ve been once before for lunch and we’re not impressed, but we thought maybe that was a one off. Grease marked menus on paper, not even laminated or card to start with. X2full English breakfasts ordered, one with unlimited tea/coffee but was never offered any more tea than the original cup, really because most of the staff haven’t a clue what they’re doing. It’s a mess. The only slight good waitress is the one who walks around with a pen in her hair chewing gum constantly. Sausages were very strange and undercooked. Mushrooms, hash browns and eggs were lying in grease. We were asked if the food was okay, but who’s going to say it’s not on the spot without causing a scene. Small x2 person tables are incredibly close together. Asked the dark hair older woman for extra tea, after she’d offered to the tables near us, without asking us and she looked like she wanted to kills, at the same time also asked her for bill, it didn’t come after 15 mins of waiting so we went to the counter like thing to pay. £38 later, horrible meal and awful service. We won’t be back.

A lovely friendly pub/restaurant with great service and great food. We had a lovely family lunch for mothers Day. Excellent roasts with a choice of 3 meats and a vegetarian option, homemade yorkshire puddings, a good selection of vegetables. Much nicer than your standard carvery. The roast potatoes were excellent. Delicious desserts, too. I would suggest booking though as it is popular (always a good sign). Real Ales and a nice selection of house wines. Very reasonable priced meals. Put your phones away as there isn't any WiFi or phone signal here, which means that there are no disturbing ringtones, just people chatting. They have rooms to stay, ideal for exploring Kinver, Bridgnorth, and the Severn Valley.

Went again to the bell as recommended and my goodness the food was outstanding , delicious and plentiful , struggled to eat it all ( 3 courses ) He-He..... honestly its great good grub, quality and lots on the plates , even asked for more gravy and custard which was brought to the table with out fuss. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the chefs are great at all the dishes as they are so tasty , totally recommend and anyone who has a good appetite will enjoy the portion sizes here...Thumbs up from us lovely …keep up the good work , ooh Ps the place is spotlessly clean in the washrooms. Well done all ................
