Our first time here we there where 4 of us for sunday lunch. Started with onion soup and garlic mushrooms, service was fast and friendly. Lovely clean restaurant with great music playing. Our mains where beef and pork, vegetables where perfectly cooked and plenty to good around. My son had a pudding that looked amazing. Certainly will be going again and the price was not expensive. Thank you for a wonderful visit ..... The Mitchell family

This diner was recommended by a friend. We enjoy an all day breakfast so thought we would give Munchies a try. Wow! We ordered 2 Olympic breakfasts. After a few minutes the chef came out and politely asked if we realised how large the meal would be as some people are unable to eat it all and are surprised at the size of it. We assured him it would be fine. The meal was delicious, hot, well cooked and well presented. And yes we did eat it all. We will certainly return as we live locally. A real gem

We were travelling from North Wales to Ludlow and were looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch. We looked in Tripadvisor and found this pub which was highly rated so we booked it. We were a little early and drove past the pub and I had to double check we had the right place. Do not judge a book by its cover! The pub looks a little tired from the outside. It’s been described in previous reviews as ‘quirky’. It sure is. The staff were so welcoming. I prefer to eat veggie and vegan food. The menu had a good selection for me to choose from. We had starters and a Sunday roast dinner. My husband had beef and I had a nut roast. Both were delicious. A good variety of well cooked vegetables , Yorkshire pudding and great roast potatoes. Excellent quality and very tasty. Would highly recommend this pub if you are looking for somewhere to eat. 2 starters , 2 mains and 2 alcoholic drinks £49. Excellent value for money. The service was spot on. This pub was very busy with lots of groups of friends and families. We will definitely return.

Stayed in flat above. Old tourist attraction leaflets in plastic wallets. An old folilo folder with more old crap in. Everything old and mostly unnecessary. No idea where to put rubbish bags when full. No welcome pack. Just stupid questions on initial phone call asking if we sleeping in separate rooms due to snoring or in the same room as a couple ???? And some old advice on Sat Nav that was not an issue and does NOT take you through Ford. Clearly some idiots have come this way. No politeness. Just moaning if you ring on a Sunday evening and the owner wants "quiet" time after only working 3 days a week. Yet was going to ring on the Monday morning. What when people are driving travelling to location??? ??? 🙄. NOT a quiet location as a local hanging out place even 7pm in the evening. With cars honking to each other. Delivery van honking every morning going next door. Motorbike next door starting in morning and returning 10pm at night. Who ever the imbecile is with heavy boots/footfalls that keeps on going into cafe when it is shut and slamming door every day. Neighbouring property busy and constant visitors. Ridiculous. Definitely would not stay again. Same idiot owner who asked stupid questions half way through holiday knocked on the door and asked us to move our vehicles into a field just for the customers over the weekend. Even though the cafe shuts at 4pm so no-one will be here. And we have paid for the parking as advertised on hoseasons. Only good points. Well equipped with necessities. Value for money.

visited here as my mother in law said the food was very good. Well the food was acceptable but that’s as far as it goes. 1. The staff are all dressed in scruffy washed out black sweat shirts , jeans and shirts or blouses that hadn’t been ironed or just didn’t fit. 2. One waitress decided that her chin needed to be protected more than the customers as we constantly watched her tuck it under her chin when talking to customers. 3. We were placed in the corridor without any windows and directly opposite the kitchen and toilet doors where the staff congregated and talked so loudly we couldn’t hear our own conversation. 4. The wine was served in cheap crappy pub glasses which you find at a boot fair. 5. There is attentive and bloody annoying. We were asked 9 times by different staff if our meal was ok ??? They clearly don’t work as a team and it’s a free for all because 3 different members of staff tried to take our dessert order ️ 6. We ordered Auction House Chardonnay and were served something else . When I questioned it I was told they had rebranded it ???? This could be such a nice place if they decorated it properly and not like it had just had a 60 minute make over. Smarten the staff up and train them on the content of the menu. Give each waiter/waitress their own tables so that the customers feel like you care and not just passing by the table and casually ask if everything is ok on their way to the kitchen. The whole experience felt rushed , from the moment we arrived to when we left the total time spent was 1 hour 15 mins , it felt more like a conveyor belt meal than a Saturday night out. Would we go back , absolutely NOT !! And my mother in law was going to take her friend for lunch on Wednesday, not now !! Go to Tripadvisor | Privacy Policy | Contact Us
