The best restaurants in Leominster South Herefordshire, County of West Midlands

Absolutely disgraceful! Just got 2 x cod and chips. The fish was more yellow than the butter I put on the bread. Absolutely dripping in grease. I ended up feeding it to my dog and he even turned his nose up. Should have just put the money down the drain, so annoyed. Avoid this place at all costs. Disgusting 😡

This is by far the best Wye Valley Brewery beer. I drank the Butty Bach last week in Llangorse and it was appalling in comparison to the pint served in the Chequers!!. Superb ale and friendly service.

Food very bland. Special chow main, nothing special about it.

Exactly what I asked for, most times in take away notes are missed but well done is what I asked for and that’s what I got!

Average food, overpriced in my opinion though the cakes looked very good. Staff very unwelcoming and didn't get a smile from any of them, previous reviews mention a friendly welcome so perhaps we just got them on an off day (Saturday 12th April 2025), wouldn't visit again I'm afraid .

Disgusting and mostly inedible. CRISPY beef is soggy and slathered in bright red (!) sugary sauce - in the bin. Cantonese king prawns - smothered in bright red sweet sauce - in the bin. I'm NOT eating strawberry coloured sauce on everything..... utterly vile, tastes like a desert and nothing like any Chinese I've ever had

The food was tasty and the place was quirky with plenty of potential. Loved the eclectic feel of the place. However the floors were dirty, there were two used spoons under our table, the teapot and milk jug were absolutely filthy and visibly dirty and the toilet needed a good clean. The hand towel was disgusting, smelly and stained. We were the sole customers in there. Such a shame as this place could be really great. There was also personal post left by the table we sat at detailing a person's name, address and car insurance crime.

Don't know when my lunch had been cooked but it was just about warm except for the egg which was freshly fried. Baked beans had a skin on top, bacon was dry and inedible, sausages were such poor quality and are mainly mechanically recovered meat and rusk. Won't bother again as there are plenty of cafes in the area which show more respect to the food and the customers.

The hot chocolate was made with water and tasted of nothing I want a refund this is unacceptable i am never going there!!!
