The best restaurants in Bromyard Herefordshire, County of West Midlands

On the day of Storm Darragh six family members were in Bromyard looking for somewhere to have lunch; The Falcon is a lovely traditional hotel so we were a little reluctant to stand in their reception in dripping coats. The staff couldn't have Benn more helpful in arranging a table for us in the comfortable dining room. The food from the Light Snacks menu was varied and flexible enough to feed a chips and red sauce eating 11 year old to a 70 year old Grandad as well as a vegan daughter. Probably the poshest dining experience for the grandson; full place settings, double white linen tablecloths, the works. All at a very reasonable price and with very attentive service. When we met up with the rest of the family, all thirteen of us were welcomed into the comfortable bar for drinks and the presence of a very determined 4 year old and a baby of two months didn't disturb the friendly welcome.

Fabulous cake and friendly attentive staff. Really good selection of food and drinks very good value for money and a free soft play area! Will definately be coming back with my little ones and lovely to see what a lot of other services HOPE offers too!! Definately a hidden gem.

Lovely afternoon tea with friends. Food homemade, fresh and well presented. Staff polite and friendly.

Afternoon snack stop, at a pleasant coffee shop. The food that we ordered was of a good standard and was filling for the price. Jacket potatoes and paninis that we had were flavourful and the portions were generous on each lunch item. Side salad served on the paninis could have been slightly more thought out considering that the local area is known for vegetable growing/agriculture. Coffees were a good size and decent quality too. Overall for the price paid (good value for money) we would return if in the area.

Very welcoming pub just reopened and provides a well stocked bar and good ale plus just started doing food. Sunday Lunch was great, all home made

Popped in to meet with a friend. I decided on breakfast and had poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado and bacon. It was superb. Good coffee too.

what a great place to be .The staff are super nice and the locals are very nice .The food we had .my wife marelyn had thai squid with rice and i had the fish and chips and it was TEN OUT OF TEN .......fantastic food and the drinks were good also and suprisingly cheap .We will be going back and next time the wife is driving so i can have a drink.......cheers micheal

This was recommended to us by The Inn we were staying at across the road and we really appreciated the recommendation. It was very delicious food and the service was outstanding. Only issue was they didn't have normal vodka, only flavoured ones, but it did not ruin our experience here. Highly recommended!

As we entered the lovely lady came to us with menus. Food was brought to us on hot plates and presented very nicely. We all enjoyed what we had. Thankyou will return.

We recently ate here for a celebratory meal. There were nine of us and had a table in the garden room. The beer was excellent particularly the Wye Valley HPA and Bitter. Our order was taken by a delightful waitress called Tess and very soon a selection of starters arrived including Tempura King Prawns and Garlic Mushrooms all were delicious. The majority of the party ordered Rump Steaks all of which cooked to perfection by the superb chef Steve. Those who were not completely full ordered desserts that included an incredible Eton Mess! Thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning soon

Excellent food, friendly efficient service. We were a party of 8, we had various side orders, breads, rices and curries and all really enjoyed our food. It could not have been better. Prices were reasonable but being BYOB too made it brilliant value for money.

Fabulous meal reasonably priced and excellent service. We all had fish and chips and was fresh fish non of this frozen fish steaks and batter lovely golden brown . Then 2 had carrot cake with ice cream ( delicious ) 1 just had ice cream and 1 banana split . Highly recommended and will definitely be back another little gem in Bromyard

We stopped here on Wednesday 9th April, on a beautiful day after a beautiful weekend, during which the cafe had been very busy. We thought they might have run out of some things, but no, there was no shortage of food there. David had a bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich, which he said was lovely, and I had a medium size breakfast, which was really absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection. Mason (big dog) had a big bowl of fresh water to help himself to as he pleased. Thanks to the Bringsty Cafe. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area or even passing through, the food and the reception you'll receive, is well worth a stop. Janice.

We went to this restaurant last night, one of several visits over the past few years. Not once have we been disappointed. The steaks are amazing and well worth the 120 mile round trip for us.
