The Kings Arms Bromyard in Herefordshire, County of

On the day of Storm Darragh six family members were in Bromyard looking for somewhere to have lunch; The Falcon is a lovely traditional hotel so we were a little reluctant to stand in their reception in dripping coats. The staff couldn't have Benn more helpful in arranging a table for us in the comfortable dining room. The food from the Light Snacks menu was varied and flexible enough to feed a chips and red sauce eating 11 year old to a 70 year old Grandad as well as a vegan daughter. Probably the poshest dining experience for the grandson; full place settings, double white linen tablecloths, the works. All at a very reasonable price and with very attentive service. When we met up with the rest of the family, all thirteen of us were welcomed into the comfortable bar for drinks and the presence of a very determined 4 year old and a baby of two months didn't disturb the friendly welcome.

Had a lovely traditional roast yesterday! Like mums home made roast 😋 meat was cooked to perfection 👌 great price too. Landlady is lovely and so accommodating. Highly recommended 👌

We had Sunday lunch to go, the quality and quantity was amazing. Landlady sure knows how to satisfy a persons appetite, will be back for more soon xxx

Visited for Sunday lunch. Traditional roast like mum used to make. Big portion, great quality food and very reasonably priced. Staff were all very friendly and obliging, nothing too much trouble. Lovely open log fire gave pub a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Lovely welcoming place with a log fire on a coldish evening after a stoll looking at the Xmas lights. Good coffee ( hand made/no machine) and interesting beers. Its only a small place but lovely atmosphere and good service with a genial host.

Got let down by Bringsty Cafe despite reserving a table so had to look elsewhere for lunch. Found this little gem in Bromyard who made us very welcome and served us lovely wholesome lunches. Definitely be back.👍

Having visited Bromyard for the first time we were amazed by the history of the town. We stayed for the night at the falcon hotel, which in itself was unbelievable in comfort, history and the service .back to the kings arms, on entering we were greeted by a warm and friendly environment, considering we were total strangers. The kings arms is run excellently by Angie O’toole and her excellent staff , we arrived for the New Year’s Eve celebrations and what a night it was , the selection of drinks is the full range from draught beers to the traditional lagers and ciders also a huge range of spirits. We were entertained by ASA , a solo artist who for 4/5 hours with non stop singing covering lots of decades from 50/60s to present, An excellent singer that deserves all the praise he gets . So at the end of the night we left having had the best hospitality anyone could have wished for , well done Angie and her staff , may I add we popped in to say goodbye and was welcomed by an open log fire a beautiful cup of coffee and as we left and because we had to drive home ,Angie came out with a takeaway Sunday lunch which was absolutely superb lots of Meat,potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables, Angie you were superb and you work like a Trojan , we will be back very soon Thank you very much .

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch , all fresh vegetables huge amount of food absolutely loved it. Lovely staff and a real nice environment to relax and enjoy yourself. Highly recommend this to everybody.
