Great cafe for breakfasts, everyone catered for - gluten free, vegan, vegetarian & those who just love bacon, sausage & egg. Wonderful find, cuppa & cake too, dogs welcome, with doggy ice cream - mine loved a sausage followed by ice cream - dog heaven. Then a browse around the vintage shop, a lovely few hours.

We are a group of bikers and use Bringsty all year round. Today we had reserved a table for lunch. On arrival there were no tables available despite arriving exactly on time. The owner then told us there was no table for us as she'd given it to another group of bikers, without bothering to ask the name, assuming it was us. No where to sit no where to wait , What a shambles, ended up going back into Bromyard and had to find somewhere else to eat. Won't be booking Bringsty again.

In this fast-paced world it is refreshing to find a good old traditional cafe that serves very tasty food at a sensible price - The little cafe at Bringsty common is just such a place. There was plenty of 'main course' choice available including some very interesting veggie options, a wide range of hot drinks and a large selection of cakes and desserts. I was particularly impressed with the delicious 'Butternut squash and coconut soup' it had a delicate spicy flavour which was exceptional, and I followed that with a generous slice of the gingerbread which was moist and succulent without being too sticky and sweet. Of course, this is not 'gourmet dining' but it was a lovely surprise to find such delicious 'cafe food' at sensible prices. Although the cafe 'decor' is basic the standard of service was very good - friendly and efficient and the 'facilities' were clean and pleasant too. Great for a lunch or teatime stop and overall, we enjoyed our 'fun lunch with friends' very much - we all agreed we would be going back soon. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stopped here for the 2nd time in a few months. The first time was last year and it was delightful. This time it was awful. Cold and even smelled greasy. After i cleaned the table I placed my order. The jacket potato was yellow, wet, soggy and tasted like it was baked last week and microwaved for me today. The vegetarian breakfast was just as bad. Tinned mushrooms in a cafè? Outrageous. Burned veggie sausages. Cooked tomato that was cooked for as long as the toast took. All in all unacceptable. Not being funny but if you cant cook a fresh breakfast in a cafè then dont offer it. And if you arent checking the quality of your baked potatoes then something is wrong. Put some spuds in the oven during the morning. Buy fresh mushrooms not tinned. They are disgusting. Cook your tomatoes properly. Its not rocket science. I get frustrated when I make the effort to tell people about somewhere and I go right out of my way to support such establishments. But if they can't be bothered then nor can I. Really sad to say I'll not go back to eat.

Decided to choose this cafe as our 'half way' stop on a 42 miler. Very dog and bike friendly being tucked behind its fairly safe to leave bikes outside and plenty of room for them. It was also just the right temperature which is good on a bike otherwise when you go back outside its a proper shock. Service was welcoming and friendly. Food was lovely but the hot drinks could of been better. Boyfriends coffee was made with UHT milk and he really struggled to drink it all because of how bad it tasted. Although my hot choclate was warm it was just instant hot chocolate which when paying £2.50 I think at least should be cadburies made from milk variety which it wasn't. Cakes looked delicious and I wish there was a 'good' option as it was better than average but not worthy of very good.

Visited the vintage shop area and popped in to "vintage cafe" for spot of early lunch. Nicely set up, welcoming friendly lady took our order. I chose the all day breakfast and chose not to include the black pudding. The lady who took the order and served kindly offered "extra egg? Hash browns ? Opted for extra egg. When I received the breakfast (extremely quickly) All looked OK. The fried egg on top was acceptable but the egg it had been placed on top of ( the second egg) was was dry and broken. I worked my way through to find inedible bacon which looked fine from above but which hid the underside that was a very dark brown and seriously inedible. I have a great appetite and love cooking and eating fried breakfast. I see that the reviews on this cafe are taken seriously by owner and regret not speaking directly to the server or taking photograph. i have never before left so much of a breakfast on the plate. Baked beans, mushrooms and toast were fine, but the bacon and eggs were cooked with no pride, or skill, probably way before we entered the establishment. Have lost my original reviewer status when I moved to ireland and changed my email address, I have made many many positive reviews especially on full English/ Irish breakfasts i have delighted in at hotels and BnB across both countries. this was memorably awful.

However we decided to try the attached cafe rather than decamp to a local pub we found this to be excellent! We had two large and filling meals at a very reasonable price and a perfect pot of tea. My wife and I took my elderly mother out for a birthday ride in the countryside and stopped at this spotlessly clean 1950's style café for lunch. My Mum has the appetite of a sparrow these days, and so I was pleasantly surprised when she polished off her all day breakfast and declared it delicious. My wife and I had excellent toasties which were served with crisps and a decent salad, not the usual token 'weeds' that fill up half the plate at many places these days. We followed up with excellent coffee and cake and really enjoyed our food. The café seems to be popular with all sorts of people including bikers, truckers and holidaymakers and makes for a great pit stop if you're heading for Wales. Recommended.

We stopped here for breakfast and I have to say that we had a friendly welcome here and the place is immaculately clean. The food however was a slightly different story. It arrives at the table hot (apart from the tomato which appeared to have only had a passing acquaintance with the grill) but the ingredients aren't the best. My other half left most of her bacon, it was pretty grim apparently. Also quite expensive.

This was the first day of our holiday and wanted to enjoy a breakfast to set us up for the day. When we got there, at about 9.30am, people were popping in and out for takeaways or placing orders for food later in the day there was a lovely atmosphere. It was too windy to sit out which was a shame as it would be lovely on a nice day to sit out in the sun. One full breakfast and one poached eggs on toast later and we were very happy indeed. I was born and bred locally (Tedstone Delamere), and moved away many years ago...however, I return to the area on a regular basis. In my childhood I spent many hours watching cricket up a little track behind Bringsty café, which in those days was the site of a garage...we called today on our way to Rhayader. It was about 10.00 so we decided to have a 'small' breakfast. Well, the small breakfast was not so small!... Sausage, bacon, mushrooms (beautifully cooked), fried egg, black pudding and baked beans and, unusually a beautifully cooked tomato...as well as perfect toast and real butter. The young man that took our order was very friendly and pleasant. When I later complimented him on the quality of the breakfast he said his Mum cooked it...Well done Mum! I have spent many years as a chef and I couldn't find a single thing to make a negative comment about....they even have a choice of cushions for the outside dining area!...I highly recommend breakfast at Bringsty Café and will definitely return.

However, the welcome was warm, friendly and when we asked about a light bite we were shown a range of home made cakes and an offer to make us a sandwich (no pre-made here!) which we accepted! The tea was fine, the cake fresh and delicious and the sandwich was very filling and just like one would make at home. We were just passing and decided to have a look at the antique shop associated to the cafe.We saw the cafe located behind, up a few steps and decided to give it a try.We had a couple of meals off the menu, and were not dissapointed in any way.The service was excellent and the food was lovely and very filling. We will be going back there in the near future.

This place is a little gem, whilst working in the locality over a 3 week period I had lunch here every day...........and every day it was the same.........superb, fresh sandwich or soup made with local produce and bread to die for. Staff are so friendly with a desire to make conversation and offer a warm welcome. Not that I ever indulged, however, the homemade cakes on the counter were a great temptation. Well done Bringsty Cafe!!!

Situated adjacent to the A44, this is a small, exceptionally clean and well maintained cafe. Teas, coffees and cakes are very good and service is professional. We were slightly underwhelmed by the lunch meals and particularly the breakfasts. Nothing wrong with the food, but it lacked the panache and variety of other places we've use recently. How about some black pudding or potato scones to expand the offering? Or even some sauces/mustard being offered when the meal is served?

Delightful little place set within a private garden behind a very interesting old furniture establishment.Very pleasent lady served us and was made to feel very welcome indeed. The cafe is very cute and spotless and was well patronised even though this was a Monday morning. We only had a light breakfast meal but it was very tasty, fresh and well presented with a smile. Will be going that way again soon but only to visit the cafe for a meal and a walk on the common.

Travelling west you're given plenty of advance warning that you're getting close to the Bringsty Cafe and as it provides plenty of safe accessible car parking coupled with excellent coffee and home-made, but very very naughty cakes, then it's a good idea to pull in. I promise you won't regret it. Travelling east, advance warnings seemed a bit thin on the ground in fact I didn't see one at all and only just managed to brake safely and pull in. So if, like me, you enjoyed the experience when heading for Brecon, keep a sharp eye out on the way back otherwise you might just miss it.Oh, and take a little extra time to explore the antique shop which stands in front of the cafe garden. It's well worth the effort.

Very friendly efficient girls behind the counter, tasty toasted tea cakes. Acoustics not good. A wander round the antique store is a must.

We enjoy having a leisurely Sunday breakfast here, the food is excellent so too is the service. Very clean establishment and friendly staff. Some days after a long walk over the beautiful Bromyard Downs and/or Bringsty Common I will call in for tea and homemade cake - with a bowl of water for the dog and a pretty outside area it is ideal

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.

Pleasant surroundings outside, unfortunately the food was not too a very high standard. Ham and piccalilli sandwich, ham tasteless (wafer thin and breaded, supermarket family pack springs to mind). Should have been advertised as a Piccalilli sandwich, Coffee was fine.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The menu was varied but not too much choice. We opted for jacket potato and a flat bread. Fresh and well presented.

Been to this lovely pub for Sunday lunch many times, never disappoints. Everything about this place is positive from the lovely friendly staff who can't do enough for you. It is a welcome throwback to how a local pub used to be, a real gem, long may it continues.
