Popped in for lunch - the staff were really friendly and the sandwiches were amazing and really reasonably priced

A proper old school. backstreet cafe run by people who care so your plate will be clean, A find! Quality at a reasonable price. Tim and Lorraine will never be rich but they will have a wide network of friends. Not the ritz but its clean and there is always plenty of banter!.

Great traditional style pub. Good range of ales and delicious cobs for food.

Burgers are good for a local grill place, bbq spicy donner is good also. Decently priced. Its a good dependable local grill takeout in a small town area. Cannot go wrong. Parking is on main road so limited but usually there are parking available

My wife and I have just been to this pub for a drink. I had Pig on the Wall which was the same as usual. My wife had her usual which she has had there before many times. He drink is Erdiner alcohol free beer which she has a dash of lemonade in. This time her drink was cloudy and flat. Usually it is a pain to pour as it fizzes up with the lemonade. I took it back to the bar expecting to just have it changed. The bartender then said no that is how it is supposed to be flat and cloudy and refused to change it. What happened to customer satisfaction.? This means every other time my wife has had this drink there has been something wrong with it. We chose to just leave the pub and we will just not bother to use it again as they seem to employ arrogant uneducated staff. Shame really as it is a nice pub. We will be using the Fairfield from now on.

Always excellent food every time we visit and staff are great with a pleasant atmosphere.

2nd time of ordering from here both times onion Bhajee was dry and overcooked. Jalfrazi was bland and chicken dry tbh. Your review page asks for atmosphere rating, that’s why I rated it, no need to be condescending with your smart reply was there.

First time using but not the last.

The dish dash offer is definitely something I recommend for this place as it offers great value for money!! I had the prawn cocktail which was loaded with prawn and topped with a cherry, literally! Followed by the very tasty Karachi chicken that packed with absolute flavour! If you like your onions and you’re curry non spicy, I totally recommend this for you! A nice sweet and cheeky floater coffee was a lovely way to finish the meal! I’m one happy fat lad here! Thanks for lovey food and service!
