The Shell-Ter in Dudley

New owners of the shelter. Beers are still great along with its atmosphere. Cobs are great now but only available from Friday over the weekend. Wish the new owners all the best with the shelter, its a great bar with great locals. Please keep the name 🙏 You're in Halesowen not Blackheath 😀

Rude staff at the end of the evening spoilt our night. Will not be returning. Avoid this place!

New Cyder and Cobb awful ale avoid. Plus the barman was argumentative when told the ale was off, sold us a different one which was also not great. Can see why everyone was drinking lager. Probably ok if you like carling and football. Also no cobs on 😂

Friendly bar staff and good beer with a great service.

First and only visit. 2 x Salopian and Wye Valley. One beer returned as beer not ready, Landford reluctantly changed and then with amount left in class from the taste had from previous beer, pathetic.

Fantastic hidden gem, well kept ale, good choice of beers and cider and so unique if nothing else stop by for a half. The decor is one of a kind, great staff and atmosphere. It's definitely a new place for me to pop into any chance i get.

Cracking little micro bar which serves the perfect pint and has a holiday bar feel about it which is pretty cool for Blackheath lol. Also great helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely go again when in the area.

A really good micro pub with a good choice of drinks reasonably priced too. A good atmosphere with music and a darts board. Seating area outside too. Certainly worth a visit.

Its a fantastic little micro brewery with world war style memorabilia. Awesome staff and clean toilets. Cant go wrong.

Terrible customer service. Thought we would give it a go 1st time and the last. Found a free table and put my pint down then my wife went to sit down and stepped on the foot of the table which was on an uneven floor causing the pint to fall over her and the floor. Explained what had happened to the bar man and he mopped it up. I went back to order another pint and was told I had to pay even though the wonky table had caused the spillage of my pint. Absolutely disgusted, finished our drinks and left.

Lovely atmosphere, great place to meet friends and chill. Good prices on spirits and beer and real ales. Clean and tidy especially the toilets which is a bonus for us women.

All the drinks (ales) are the same price. Nice and cozy, although can be a bit cold in winter but soon warms up. If you want a seat get there early as it does get busy. Also a pool room at the back and a few tables out the front

Welcomed our 2 dogs and my boyfriend enjoyed the beer. Warm welcome from staff and other customers too.

Lovely little micro bar with a good selection of cans and bottles. Not too many cask ales and seems too many lager taps to call itself an ale bar. Each lager tap converted to an ale is better for the market. There are enough places for lager swillers to drink.

New on the scene microbar. Not yet 6 months old providing seating for about 50. A very good range of rotating hand pulls and craft key kegs. With the obligatory lagers. Food snacks rolls and hot pies are available. Dog friendly and a free jukebox to boot. Very surprised with the quality of craft ale with offerings from Deya, Magic Rock, Northern Monk and Cloudwater to name a few. Prices also very reasonable with the draught beer at around £3 per pint and the artisan craft ales normally between £4 and £5 per pint. Another great drinking house for the area. Well recommended

Small but perfectly formed! Great little bar, nice selection of beers at very good prices. Capacity is only about 45 people but you want to be one of those 45!

Absolutely lovely themed place with brilliant staff, everyone is so friendly. It's also dog friendly.

Lovely little micro bar. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. All taps were £3 a pint. Tv's for the football. Kids allowed in until 7pm. Also allows dogs in. Great atmosphere.
