This place is excellent. Warm cosy and very friendly nice homemade cobs

Lovely cosy traditional pub. Probably the best in the area, good choice of real ales, along side lagers, great cheese cobs too. Very welcoming to dog owners and sky tv too.

Don't forget to puy your Plate in to car park system or you will be fined

The pub itself is nice, ales are good, clean and tidy, staff friendly except the landlord - don't appreciate the attitude and maybe needs to learn something about customer service.

Small but friendly and cozy pub

First time visit to watch a match with a mate and enjoy a few drinks, it’s a really nice cosy & friendly pub. Quite spacious with coal fires. This pub is definitely looked after, like the people who run it care. Service with welcoming chat is always a plus. A good mix of folk too. I could see that they advertise doing cobs but don’t think they do cooked food ? I will definitely be back 👍.

Great pub with a fantastic range of beers. Very clean and a barmaid who was friendly, bubbly and helpful. I didn't try the cobs but they certainly looked very appetising. I will probably try one next time.

Brilliant place, was my first time here and had a great night celebrating a work mates retirement, ordered some fantastic cobs, beautifully done, the amount of real ales is amazing, I will definitely be back

Brilliant pub with a relaxed atmosphere. Easily the best Guinness in the area although very expensive but you get what you pay for I guess.

This pub is becoming my all time favourite. Me and my mate, whenever we meet up this is the place in town for us. Amazing selection on the tap, especially ciders, incredible service, especially the ladies, they are really friendly and pleasant, they really make the place warm and welcome. I absolutely adore the outside area, surprisingly massive, so much space. They serve amazing food as well. The clientele is made of nice and calm people, just what I enjoy in pubs like that. Overall, you gotta try this place.

The Swan is great, a proper throw back friendly Black Country pub , the owner knows how to look after the beer, always a great head on them as it should be, also the obligatory crusty cobs at the bar BC style...excelent

Very well kept ales with no trouble to try before you buy. My second visit here, and if it wasn't so far away, I'd pop in more often. Food available and a good beer garden

A brilliant well run Black Country Ales Pub. This is a great example of how the smaller pub should be ran. It has a choice of cobs, pies as well as crisps. Cobs are excellent well filled of cheese and onion, ham salad cheese and ham as well as cheese salad sauces ae available too. Coffee is available. There are always a great choice of Ales available and you can expect upto 11 Ales on tap. Including at least 3 Black Country Ales and upto 9 guest ales. There are usually 5 Ciders on tap too ranging from 4% to in excess of 7.5%. Guinness and Lagers as well as your usual spirits etc available. Air con inside and a large garden out the back. With a separate smoking area. Darts board as well as Sky Sports showing. Plenty of places to sit. Super friendly staff as well as locals. Rich is very happy to bring your drinks over once ordered and they have settled a really great touch and a top bloke too. An absolutely brilliant place to visit everything a great local pub should be. Come and visit for yourself and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Popped in here for a quick one today. Great drinks choice and nice atmosphere although very busy so struggled to get a seat. Would return but on a quieter day. Cobs looked lovely.

Nice pub, outdoor seating is pretty good. Plenty of space under cover which is especially nice if you want to be outside but it's raining.

Top quality beer and top tier staff

This Black Country Ales pub on Long Lane Blackheath in the Black Country is good for an evening pint.. For a Tuesday night 🌙 it was quite busy probably because there was a West Bromwich Albion game on the TV. I especially enjoyed the peach 🍑 cider and had a couple of pints of that as the Missus Mary dropped me and my two friends and picked us up. My friends both had a couple of pints of the Black Country ⚫️ Ales mild "Pig on the Wall" which they enjoyed and off course we had 2 or 3 bags of pork scratchings to enjoy with our beer and cider

As expected from black country ales, nicely refurbished interior, traditional design... Spacious beer garden. Friendly staff and a good selection of ales and ciders, they could do with a lesson on topping the glass up tho,,, they serve with plenty of head. ;) All round good pub.

Have to give the Swan 5 stars, great selection of ales and ciders, friendly and pleasant staff with tables kept clean and tidy. Cobs are awesome with a great welcoming atmosphere and plenty of choice. You won't go wrong if you venture here. Only gripe was a Friday visit with a constant yapping dog under someone's table, constant barking with a few of the locals suggesting they're regulars, not a problem with dogs, ours loves a good pub, other than that well worth a visit to this great friendly place.
