Had the pizza at sip and slice have had their pizza 3 or 4 times now never disappointed 10/10

I have been to several fine dining restaurants. Black and Green’s menu (6 plate tasting menu), service, ambiance, quality of food, value for money and explanation of the dishes was second to none. Compliments to the chef and all the staff for ensuring Black and Green’s will live long in my memory. We will be visiting again

Este lugar ha estado cerrado desde hace unos años debido a que el propietario lamentablemente falleció inesperadamente. Era una dama encantadora y en el poco tiempo que fue dueña del lugar, lo transformó.

We went in for the second time the first time was the so immaculate the food was on point. But this time my our food came cold, I ordered A chicken Jalfrezzi and the chicken was cold and chewy. I told the waiter he was very nice but the cooks took very long to cook me my food. The chicken tikka was very nice and tasty and other than that it was nice.

Brilliant service everytime and quality food efficient food given. I had the mixed tandoori grill for starters, always my favourite and the chicken korma was so nice. Will try something else next time. Lovely friendly staff

Our visit was far from great. On arrival we had to wait in the cold draft, the manager clearly had no clue on the lay out of the tables and was checking each table on the table plan as he brought out the dishes. We were left to wait too long whilst sat down, when we ordered drinks they were incorrect & I had to go to the bar to correct as there was no one around to help or ask. Our food eventually came to our table cold - we had ordered hot food. The plates were cold, the meat was cold and the mushrooms had clearly been prepared at 10 am in the morning & left to curl & go cold. The potato products, I cannot call them chips, however were furnace hot making them both inedible from a hardness of the uncooked potato & the external heat. My wife ate hers as she was starving but did not enjoy it. I sent mine back but the replacement was raw but I had had enough by then & just wanted to leave. Awful.

Un pequeño lugar genial. Entramos y salimos rápidamente. A los niños les encantaron las tortitas y tuvimos un desayuno normal de huevos que llegó al lugar. Eran tan encantadores y el propietario estaba tan feliz de tener una charla. Muy buen precio.

Nice place, way over priced, food exceptionally average. Just stick to cakes if I was you. To use an air fryer for a majority of your cooking is a disgrace really. They couldn’t even do scrambled eggs for goodness sake. £8.50 for a piece of toast with some betroot hummus on it is insane pricing. Won’t be returning for food that’s for sure.

I think this place has changed management. We have visited twice recently, once in a large group and another time in a foursome. The food is ok. However, on both occasions, the staff made it obvious they wanted us to leave even though it was not late. They even opened the door to let the cold air in, hoping that would encourage us to leave. A member of staff dod say that their main business was take aways not sit in, I suppose that is why they don't want customers staying.

El jueves, al parecer, es la noche en que todos tienen que gritarse unos a otros. Lo que era una excelente comida con buena comida y un servicio amable y eficiente se estropeó por el ruido de fondo excepcionalmente fuerte de otros comensales. Una gran lástima, ya que todo lo demás sobre el restaurante era excepcionalmente bueno.
