Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, as they were fastest on Uber Eats, and I had not tried them before. I ordered a Chicken tikka Masala and my wife had a Chicken Korma. We had sides of a Palau rice, Plain Naan bread, and a poppadum each. Overall the food was good, and hot, so no warming necessary. It was also delivered bang on time! My only criticism was that the tikka sauce was a little runny. Might try the restaurant soon.

What an absolute shame, nice atmosphere, great service, reasonably priced, delicious sides, Naan bread wonderful, curry sauces outstanding but all the meat is dry and overcooked, all of the kebab was like cardboard and their house curry was wow it was so delicious but again the meat spoiled it, I managed to eat the chicken ( just about) but the lamb was inedible and the prawns were over too. sort out the overcooked meat and I will be there every week with my friends and family...Oh also the desert on the 5 course is a joke surely, 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream

We live in Barnt green and this is our favourite curry house. Had a take delivery last night, ordered around 6 and the food was delivered within half an hour. It was hot and really delicious. Would highly recommend it.

Hi. As I have said before, I only take the time to write a review so that I can share my honest opinions in an attempt to help others. I always give honest opinion be it good or bad. Last Friday evening I ordered a takeaway for five people, via Go Eat service. I was estimated a 40 minute wait, which is about right for a Friday night It now goes down hill from here - 1 - I only give one star because the system won’t accept zero stars, so my single award is for a reasonably good menu on offer. 2 - When my food was 1 hour overdue, I tried several times to call the restaurant. 3 - At 90 minutes late my wife finally got a response. My wife explained how late our food was enquiring if we had been overlooked. The very very rude person barked at my wife that they were very busy. My wife tried to get a word in saying that 90 minutes late was unacceptable and started to request a refund, the angry reply continued saying that any issue was with Just Eat and our food had just left the shop, the phone was then put down not allowing my wife to speak any further. Whilst filling in the complaint process on Just Eat our food arrived. That was quite encouraging as we are just over a mile from the shop. 4 - I think it’s fair to say that all of our food was poor. It was cold - Luke Warm , with only my Roti being hot, all portions were very small indeed. I am using other local restaurants as comparison of portion size. E G we always have the same debate - 1 portion of chips or 2, knowing that we each will have some -as with the rice. Always we end up saving the second portion until later - untouched or only a handful taken. With that in mind this delivery, putting both portions of chips together was roughly 2/3 size of others. Plus I have never seen s potion of rice arrive that isn’t bursting out of the foil container when opened. This one was only just touching the lid as it was heaped up in the middle, presumably where the ladle finished tipping its contents. Finally, I will point out that this is the second time we have used this restaurant, with very similar results previously’ particularly late and Luke warm. I didn’t complain or review them as I like to give the benefit of the doubt. This occasion the sheer rudeness of staff on the phone has prompted my review. Also, you should know I am writing this 5 days later , so it is not ‘knee-Jerk’. As an aside my daughter also complained to Just Eat requesting a refund and neither she or my wife have not received any reply. I advise choosing another option for your take away food.

The worst service ever. We waited almost 2 hours for delivery. After 2 phone calls to the restaurant to see where our food is and both times be told the food has just left with the delivery driver. Eventually our food arrived cold. We phoned back up to complain and they put the phone down on us. Absolute joke. AVOID COMPLETELY.

We visited Goa Goa this evening as a family and we had a wonderful time. Food was delicious, full of flavour. Staff were brilliant and the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you for having us

We’ve been here for 6 months and been disappointed by all takeaway/delivered Indian meals so far but GOA GOA was perfect!! Lovely food, simple to order and great service.

I’m up for a visit from the south coast to see family and friends before Christmas. They use this place as they love it here. I asked for a staff curry which wasn’t on the menu. That was catered for no problem. The owners son Mohammed came over and introduced himself ( he may be part owner, I’m unsure). Such a great welcome. His father the owner whose name I didn’t catch was out but came over as well when he returned. I was treated like a friend rather than a customer. Mohammed got me to try a wonderful rooster curry, he bought out a wonderful home made Naga pickle too. As well as some hot chillies as I’m a mad chilli head. The food was out of this world and great prices. You need to take your own alcohol as they are not licensed to serve. I left hardly able to move I was so stuffed. I have never felt so welcome in an Indian restaurant ever. If it’s not on the menu and they have the ingredients they will cater for you no problem. They’ll recommend dishes for you too. I enjoyed it so much I’m already booked for Wednesday as I need to go again before I head back home. Guys I hope you read this as it’s such a wonderful experience. The way you looked after us was out of this world. I wish you would open a place in my home town, I’d probably live in there. A massive thank you and look forward to seeing you Wednesday 💖💖💖

We came here Sunday while staying at a local hotel where we got married this Friday,was a great end to a special weekend and the staff and food were both excellent, we had the 5 course meal for just under 11pound and I must say it was exceptional value for money ,we will definitely return

Ordered takeaway from Goa Goa yesterday lived in the area now two years and hadn’t tried staff were really polite, got there to collect my order it was ready and quick, when I got home found the little addition of poppadums and pickle tray which was lovely and then when I tasted the food it was just amazing!! Really really nice not a bad word to say about it. Will be a regular of here now!

Ordered a takeaway at 6.00pm on New year's eve, was told would be delivered at 7.10pm, at 8.00pm phoned and told very busy will be there in half an hour, 9.00pm phoned again, said 10 mins, 9.30 phoned again only to be cut off, drove to restaurant to find out our order wasn't even cooked so waited another 20 mins, came home to find half the order missing, went back to restaurant, waited another 15mins for missing order, no apology, food was OK nothing special, will never be ordering from there again, absolutely disgusted with service

Nothing fancy, just reasonably priced, decent quality food and friendly, efficient service. We visited pre-Lockdown 2 for a quick meal after our dinner plans were changed at short notice. We will happily visit again when the restrictions end.

We were recommended this restaurant a few weeks ago when it newly opened and made a visit. Staff were so polite, friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful when deciding on which dishes to choose. Very impressed with the quality of the food. We went again last night and were not disappointed, food again was fantastic, cannot fault it and the staff were so lovely and attentive, can’t wait for our next visit !!

Been to many different Indian restaurants, but this one is quaint and they really look after you, They was very good with my autistic daughter and very accommodating. The food is superb as well. Only visited on a recommendation from a friend. She was right, will be using this place a lot more.

This restaurant has a nice decoration is small and cute with a nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speak English. The food is really tasty and spicy as it should be. Also the prices are very reasonable for a Munich restaurant. I will definitely go again

I have drove past this restaurant many times and always thought I must try it at some point......I usually go to the same takeaway on a monthly basis, however tried Goa Goa today and it's the best chicken and mushroom balti I have ever had anywhere, staff are extremely friendly too, kids had ice cream which was a bonus for them aswell, lovely staff and food was fantastic!!

Table of 5 adults arrived, lovely small restaurant, greeted by friendly staff, very welcoming, our drinks order arrived promptly followed by varied starters, chicken purée was delicious & garlic chilli chicken was blended deliciously, keema naan was tasty among many other dishes we all tried each other’s which were equally of good quality. The service we received was warm, friendly and we have already rebooked for next week, great first visit & would recommend as excellent value for a family meal out.

Went here with family, don't get me wrong the food was nice but soooo small. My husband had a kebab starter and it was 1 very thin sheek kebab chopped into small pieces and I had tandoori chicken which I think was a pigeon really. Curry was nice but the rice was literally half a small bowl, we were going to share but it was impossible to do so. I know it says 5 course but it really isn't, u are charged for your pickle tray and they have stopped serving coffee just serve a large teaspoon of ice-cream with a laughable portion of cream on the top. I would rather go to a well known takeaway in the area that serves beautiful food and larger portions so that you actually feel full. I won't be going again unfortunately

Had a great first experience at Goa Goa on Saturday evening. We booked for an early evening meal as we had our five year old with us. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us/make us and our daughter feel welcome.The poppadoms were light, crisp and fresh. We were given a complimentary onion bhaji starter which again was light, fresh and tasty. Both main meals were delicious (chicken and mushroom balti and chicken madras). The naan bread was literally the lightest and freshest naan we have ever tasted and we have eaten many Indian meals! We normally share a rice and naan but next time we would have one each as the rice portion is quite small. A great location - we sat facing Cofton park. The staff were fantastic and the food was delightful. Thank you we had a lovely meal.

First visit to this restaurant. Relatively small licenced restaurant (used to be a very respected takeaway) with panoramic windows overlooking the greenery of Cofton Park. Limited parking in front of the restwurant and some further spaces in a layby on the opposite side of the road.

The second worse Indian Resturant in B45. The only good thing was delverie time 20 minutes. The food was luke warm. Chicken Balti was blend no taste as though bought over supermarket counter curry and Keema balti with extra okra and fresh coriander was none existences just as there was no fresh coriander in chicken balti paid extra for this the keema balti with no okra and fresh coriander was awful more like the left over food from prevous night just slight warmed up in microwave. The nan bread was wet and sagy the starter was not worth £2.95. To be perfectly honest the cost of meal was £20.45 with 10% off. And plus £3 tip should have given the whole meal wasn't worth it I don't mind paying for good and quailty food but it was neither. I can not understand why on tripadveser people rave about this resturant I only order because I have great faith in reviews on tripadveser. Good folks save your money I wouldn't even rate 1 star for its zero star.

Do a 5 course meal Friday/Saturday for £13.95 & £10.95 Sunday to Thursday. Had a great meal, couldn't fault it and staff really polite, Licensed as well now so that's a bonus.

Just had a great take away. Had a couple of tasty side dishes and a paneer dansak, was delicious. Really nice chappatis. Much nicer than our local Indian in Barnt Green.

Best takeaway Indian food we have had. Food always delivered piping hot and beautifully cooked without that layer of oil that you can get sometimes. Delivery drivers always wonderful too- polite and friendly.

Tried this place for the first time on a Sunday night. The place is small but very nice. Our group of of 10 pretty much took over the whole restaurant. We all had the £10.95 for 5 courses deal & the food was excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed all courses. It was really good value also & made the night really special. Will definitely be returning xx

1st time we tried this place was not long after they opened it was dreadfull but thought we would try it again and so glad we did I ordered a lamb ghetti it was really lovely, was dubious to start with because in the description it said it had coconut in, which I find usually overwelms all other flavours, not so in this dish it was fab, my other half had his usual, keema and peas which he equally enjoyed. So all in all now I would recommend this place. The delivery time was good as was the chap who delivered it, the food was hot when it arrived and the price was very competitive

Went here with family. We had the 4 course at £9.95 which is exceptional value for the quality that you recieve. The manager and young boy must be the owners as they really do go the extra mile to make sure you have a lovely meal. However there is another man there that has for the last 3 visits added on extras when he shouldnt of. We were charged for the 5 courses when we only had the 4 and had £2 added on every meal even though it wasnt fish or prawn when he is adding up your bill I havent said anything because its only £4 but it is happening too often so this needs to be checked on. It would be such a shame to spoil it for the owners who seem very passionate about their restaurant.

We came here on the off chance..the restaurant was really busy for a Thursday night...we should have really booked but got seated straight away. People were coming in throughout the night and being turned away. We asked for the four course meal as this wasn't advertised openly. Starters beautiful and didn't take too long. As the night went on we waited and waited for the main. After about and hour and half we were tempted to leave but then it turned up! It was nice but we had kind of gone past hunger at that point. We arrived at the restaurant about 7.15 and don't leave till around 10.15. The food was very nice and obviously freshly cooked but it took such a long time. I saw three staff members whilst there and they just couldn't cope with the volume of people and orders...shame for them really. I would go back again to give it another go perhaps on another weekday. Don't be put off I'd just advise you to book and go early before it gets too busy else I imagine you will have a wait!

This is our local Indian and it’s an for takeaways and sitting in. The prices are very reasonable and the four course midweek deal is excellent value. Portion sizes are good and the taste is lovely, you can actually tell the difference between dishes which is often a problem I find elsewhere. You take your own drink which makes it a very reasonably priced meal.

What a great find. I’ve lived in the area for 17 years and usually have to drive to find somewhere good to eat. Great service. Excellent pappadomds and pickles. Very generous portions. BYO with no corkage. Very fresh tasty food. Outstanding Nan, crispy, aerated but soft. It is quite small so book, especially at weekends.

Me & my partner went to Goa Goa last week for a curry after a friend recommended it & i have to say that was a great recommendation!! From the minute of walking in to the place the staff were very helpful & attentive and the food was simply spot on!

Have just eaten at this recently opened restaurant. Inside it is small but very cosy with nicely set tables. The staff are warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the food being served. The menu is varied ,with dishes I have not seen in other Indian restaurants. The starter they recommended was a style of seekh kebab that I had never had before which was very tasty. We both ordered lamb dishes,the meat was tender the flavour of the spices beautifully cooked. Added to that a perfectly cooked Naan and fluffy rice it was one of the best meals we have eaten. You can also take your own drinks with you. I can certainly recommend this lovely restaurant.

We visited on Christmas Eve and the food was brilliant - the lamb starter was so nice, the meat was really tender, not tough like in some Indians. The menu was really unique for a curry house which was a nice change. Nicely done out and clean inside and the staff are all really attentive and helpful, you didn’t have to ask for anything like extra tap water for the table. Some of the earlier reviews aren’t great but this place has only been in Cofton Hackett for 6 weeks so I think they are talking about the place that was here before. Really nice to have a good curry house on our doorstep - I would recommend a visit!

Delighted that this small and very friendly restaurant has opened locally. The food was excellent. I can recommend the scallop starter, the crab balti and the prawn pathia. Even the naan bread was amazing, so light and fluffy , but with crisp edges! The welcome, the ambience and the sevice were outstanding. The staff were very personable and keen to share helpful advice about their menu. There were lots of different options including lobster, not just the usual run of the mill indian fare. It was extremely good value for money. I wish them every success as their business evolves. This will be the first of many visits.

Have had family take away from Ruchie on several occasions and must say it's inconsistent , we have the same order and one meal can be fabulous 6 ⭐s but we had one 2 weeks later and it was bad chicken was tough and the whole meal was of bad quality so I haven't been back such a shame

We had 2 tandoori mixed grills and 1 portion of chips, I think this takeaway has changed hands??? as I have had numerous meals before and have been happy hence my return tonight,The chips were yellow and full of grease it was dripping off these soggy chips :-(the mixed grill was BORING tasteless and floral taste it was nasty and not worth the £15+ I paid, Mint dip bland could not taste the mint! naan bread hard and cold.I would advise people to go elsewhere sorry.

The food was terrible. All the recipe's are now cheap bland and tacky. Te meat was like boot leather. Np notification anywhere of the change of ownership to warn customers. I'll never order again. It's a shame as this place used to be top notch under the last owners.

Vile. Unfortunately I think was due to the fact I ordered it early? It was clearly yesterday's left overs! Chips were crunchy, dark brown and soaked in fat. Poppadoms tasted like burnt oil. Most went in the bin

One of the best curry houses! Polite staff, luscious food! Delivery time can sometimes be slow but it's worth the wait and from what I understand they can be very busy weekends as also and eat in restaurant. The wait is never too long though and sometimes it's very very quick!
