The Garrity in Bromsgrove

Cofton Pizza is one of the best pizza places and a must try for any pizza lover. It’s a very small and busy place. So do consider booking. Although I opted for take away once as no tables available and 40 minutes later they still had unoccupied tables with a reserved sign. Family friendly environment with high chairs for little ones and it’s a dog friendly place too. The service is order at bar.

First time visiting, very friendly staff, lovely food.

the food was amazing! Seen this place online a few times and thought I had to try it out, The only concern is the menu is small so doesn't offer the ability to continuously go back but will definitely pop in from time to time as the all day brunch flat bread was out of this world! Only marked down on atmosphere as its fairly small and cramped in there

Lovely place to go for a drink, food and chill. Lovely atmosphere . Staff and customers friendly . Pizzas are freshly made and very nice.

The pizza is excellent; lovely dough, great ingredients and cooked well. Good range of drinks, and friendly staff. Only slight downside is the acoustics, and how loud it is with only a few people in there. Not the fault of the current owners and definitely worth going for the food. Breakfasts look great too.

I'm a fussy vegetarian, I had the regular breakfast and the team happily swapped my bacon and sausage, despite being very busy, food was delivered super quick and everyone was lovely. Great place will be going back for the family for round 2 soon. Loved the clever teapot, need one of those in my life also. Thank you all, 😊

Visited here last night for our family night, booked a table of 8 online. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, really good selection of ale. Food was incredible and gave us boxes to take home what we couldn’t eat, so we could have pizza for breakfast. Would definitely recommend

Saw this lovely little place on Instagram and had to try it,The staff are friendly and the interior is lovely.The coffee was okay and the food was lovely only downside was big meals and would of like more choice on the menu as only ate a quarter of the meal due to the size,Definitely worth a visit and you can bring along the dog 🐕 😊

Visited the new Cofton on the Green yesterday and was very impressed. I am already a big fan of Cofton Pizza but so nice they have a permanent base in south Birmingham now. Pizzas are fresh and the best I’ve ever tasted, as someone who wasn’t a typical “pizza lover” before I’m now hooked! 🤣 Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend - we will be back x

As a brunch connoisseur I can absolutely recommend this lovely place! Really interesting and tasty take on brunch, loved the spicy eggs! Great coffee too and lovely staff. We shall be back for the pizzas! (* Ate it too quickly to take a photo!)

Superb coffee, beautiful sandwich

Nice place, way over priced, food exceptionally average. Just stick to cakes if I was you. To use an air fryer for a majority of your cooking is a disgrace really. They couldn’t even do scrambled eggs for goodness sake. £8.50 for a piece of toast with some betroot hummus on it is insane pricing. Won’t be returning for food that’s for sure.

Yesterday was my second visit to the Garrity with two friends. We had coffees, teas and delicious beetroot hummus and feta cheese on sourdough bread for brunch. Lovely staff, so welcoming and efficient, and the atmosphere was very festive with a happy vibe. Definitely going again with friends in the new year.

Had the rudest, most unreasonable service here this morning. Apparently we were disrespectful because we asked for cutlery; we weren’t complaining about the wait times; or that all the food came out at different times; or that the place was grubby. We paid £56 for 2 kids and 2 adults only to eat at all different times and to have plates of food slammed down on the table - one of which happened in front of someone we can only assume was a manager. He said there was nothing he could do about it. The whole situation was very uncomfortable and awkward, and let’s face it, they’re not there out of the goodness of their hearts, they’re being paid for a reasonable service and we had done nothing but ask for cutlery. Would not recommend.

Not impressed. Asked for cheese sandwich, and was disappointed. Lovely sourdough bread, raw, with melted mild cheese that tasted like warm glue. Coffee with what I now suspect was soya milk that was waaaaaaay past it's use by date. Spent the evening hurling the whole disgusting mess out. Not recommended

Local resident who likes to use local food/beverage outlets. Asked for the lights to be put on, the girl on the till was very polite and said no problem, she spoke to a colleague who pulled a face and the light was not switched on, little realising I was watching. Coffee was served in takeaway cups even though we were drinking in and took around 15 minutes for the order to be completed, which was an average cup of coffee. Will not be visiting again.

Pleasant enough place. Coffee was very good. Not a great selection of food options for breakfast, but managed to find something. Staff friendly and helpful. Interiour of venue dark and noisy and not 100% clean.

Had a very nice Cappuccino here. Thought the food was a little too expensive.

Lovely coffee and sandwich for breakfast here. Staff were really friendly. Food was really good and I enjoyed my gluten free BLT! Both inside and outside are well thought out in decoration and atmosphere. Look forward to visiting again :)

Had a bacon sandwich on sourdough. The bread was hard and cold always thought u usually lighty toast it . Not good at all also serve no napkin or serviette...And paid £9 with a coffee thought bit on the expensive side

Had morning coffee and bacon bap which were enjoyable. Loved the atmosphere and decor. Staff friendly and helpful . Very popular place.

We really enjoyed our first visit a short while ago - good drinks, good service, nice atmosphere. This second visit didn’t compare well. Out of stock of some basic ingredients to make their small cocktail list, and even to add basic garnishes to drinks. We’d wanted to visit here for breakfast / brunch, but after this visit, we’ll give it a miss. And that’s before seeing their online and on-site menus are quite different.

On my first visit, on Friday, I stood at the bar for 10 minutes the staff behind the bar just completely ignored me talking to each other and doing other things. When I eventually spoke up and asked for service please I was told by a guy “You have to order from the front of the bar, not the left side of the bar” ( where was I stood). The place only had 10 customers so we’re not even busy. There was no sign saying where to stand/not stand to order! Moreover the guy with the thinning longish brown hair didn’t even turn around to look at me when he told me I was standing in the ‘wrong place’. How rude. The staff just carried on as if I wasn’t there. What poor attitudes. It must be aweful to work there. You could sense a huge negative atmosphere. If you want a happy, positive, welcoming place, this isn’t it. If you do go, see if you think the place is clean. Just take a look…

Not enough low level tables. Too many high bar stools. Food and drinks very good.

Need to up their game. Went in for a morning hot drink and a snack. Two hot chocolates were luke warm then had to wait a further 20 minutes for a supposed cheese toasted sandwich. Cheese not melted, bread not toast. General expect drink and food to arrive together. Did not enjoy this visit, won’t go back.

Great atmosphere, lovely coffee but arrived at 13:45 to find no cakes and kitchen closed so no food. Only crisps and a cookie

I'm delighted to say I thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic bacon sandwich and tasty refreshment at The Garrity in the famous leafy village of Barnt Green, beautifully crafted by the renowned Gina. The combination of savoury bacon and Gina's international culinary expertise truly makes for a delightful dining experience. Good food and drinks. Dog friendly. Parking is limited, and drivers in Barnt Green are poor, so park on the street at your peril.

Great local cafe, eatery and bar. Service was really good, food although a little limited has some great options and was very tasty. The fresh pastries are particularly good 👌 Only downside for us was the acoustics really need addressing, we went Friday morning at 10am there were two full tables and two tables with just one person sitting at them. The noise levels were so loud it was actually more peaceful to sit outside with the sound of the passing traffic (which was actually a nice space), and this is at a quarter or fifth of its capacity. It would be worth investing in some sound absorbing acoustic panels, and some soft furnishings to lower that noise level. Having to shout at 10am is a little much. Great place, just be prepared for the noise 🔊

Very relaxing place. Great service. I've not been here for a few beers as yet but it's deffo on my radar to spend a few hours having a tott or three!

What an absolute gem of a place here in Barnt Green. Highly recommend the American Pancakes with fresh fruit, yoghurt and maple syrup. I added bacon as a side. Top notch quality and friendly staff. Clean to a T. Dogs are allowed inside which is nice for owners. Definitely would be back here having moored about a mile or so away on our narrowboat. Good train connections into Birmingham too.

I came with my girlfriend and was very disappointed. The food took ages to come out and was just about warm enough to eat. Wouldn’t recommend going.

So impressed with this coffee shop, absolutely lovely experience here, fabulous service, only popped in for coffee while waiting for a friend visiting the dentist, did order a side of sourdough toast with jam came beautifully presented with fruit on the side, would like to have ordered more but had a lunch already booked. Will definitely return.

Our first time meeting friends here for bunch. The food was great and very reasonably priced with generous portions. Would recommend, will go again.

Just yesterday, I had a cappuccino from Garrity. The service staff was really welcoming and kind, and the coffee was excellent. A great spot to sit and relax with a calming atmosphere.

I do like this place, the food is good the coffee is fab and all the best looking young ladies in Barnt Green work here 😂 Really though the staff are friendly and helpful 🤓

Recommended by a friend who travels from Birmingham, we've been here 3 or 4 times for drinks, pre dinner elsewhere. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are young and friendly with a positive vibe. We're back on Saturday & bringing friends! Garrity's is a great addition to Barnt Green that is thriving. Give them a visit you won't be disappointed!
