A bit off the beaten track but well worth it. Great staff, great service and fantastic food. All round , five stars are thoroughly deserved. We just had a stack of tapas style starters - a lot of them, and they were all delicious.

Lovely staff, very friendly and the food is the best affordable Greek food in the area. Plus they do student discount :)

Great lunchtime cafe offering delicious Arabic food. We going back for the chicken shawarma wrap, delicious, tastes so fresh and isn’t at all greasy, like other establishments. Be prepared to wait, as it’s becoming very popular

Cracking pint of Guinness in here at a reasonable price. Staff are unbelievably friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend visiting if you live local as these are independently owned and could probably do with local support as possible. Also a great spot for the Football.

My wife and I have been going to Chas Mann's cafe upstairs for breakfast at least once a week since returning to Birmingham four months ago. Splendid view over the old village green, interesting film, bikers and musical decor, relaxed seating & atmosphere, and eclectic music soundtrack from '60s onwards. Friendly and welcoming staff, headed by Ian. Great, great omelettes (four eggs!) which always set us up for the day. Thoroughly recommended.

Went out to Birmingham with the boys for a Christmas day out. Service was great, atmosphere was so good. I had a full English breakfast was absolutely delicious. I will bring my wife next time. Good times

The best service, most friendly staff

We had Chef’s table for a special birthday. This time last year we ate at Diver XO, a 3* Michelin in Madrid. I enjoyed the food tonight just as much as that experience. HK must be close to 2* soon? The ‘snacks’ were amazing, every course was delicious and watching the brigade at work was a privilege. I particularly loved the crab arancini snack and the amazing flour based ‘gnocchi’ both cooked by one of the junior chefs. So impressed. Incredible value for money in our opinion. The fine wine flight was beautifully curated. The Sommelier was passionate and engaging. Bearwood honey parfait really was a lovely ending. Thanks all. We will definitely be back and recommending all around.

Wanted to update my review after having been back multiple times now - everyone is always so helpful and tonight they made croquettes specially for me with plantain because of my various food issues. Thank you so much! 22/11/2024 Love this restaurant. Great for gluten-free and super good with other intolerances. It’s rare to get exciting food that tastes like nothing you’ve ever eaten before and that looks like a picture - esp. if there is stuff you cannot eat. Expect a lot of corn and shapes and colours you’ve never seen before.

Can I just say how BEAUTIFUL this food was! Absolutely underrated!!! Everything from the prawns to the rice to the corn on the cob to the eggs to the potato’s were IMMACULATELY BEAUTIFUL AND SO TASTY and SAUCY!!!!!The best I’ve tried so far!!!! You’ve definitely gained a full time loyal customer! Cannot wait to bring my family and friends here!!! MashAllah may allah swt put Bakrah in your hard work inshaAllah.
