Best restaurant on alum rock Road, visited here many times and tried their mix grill platters and fresh Karahi. Today I visited with family and tried their breakfast menu and I must say, highly impressed. 10/10

Always visit this restaurant with my friends and is always a good experience. Mix grills are cooked delicious and juicy. Today we got the grilled burgers cooked nicely with caramelised onions. Manager and staff are all polite and friendly too.

I have to say its the best in birmingham- will highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and families. The grill food which contains a mixture of lamb chomps, tikka, wings are always good also, cooked with pure juicyness and rich flavour.

Always visit Kamal Da Dera whilst in Alum rock. Foods always beautifully cooked. Highly recommend the lamb curry it’s cooked very beautifully full of south Asian spices and truly is the signature dish.

First time visiting this restaurant after 5 years. I came after reading the reviews and people talking about the restaurant. The standards are still pretty high. The food comes piping hot served on a sizzler. Staff members are all respectful. It’s a busy family restaurant and they have a extra hall for parties/events/wedding ceremonies. Really recommend the Bhindi gosht and the Chicken tikka, the tikka itself is nice and tender not over cooked and not undercooked, just perfect to eat. The lamb bhindi was tasty too which had a fresh mixture of tomatoes and onions to give a nice flavour.

Mashallah truly a hidden Gem. I visited this restaurant with my family, we came from London whilst shopping on Alum rock road. The food was made from scratch, food was all prepared fresh to order. Waiter gave us time to think of our order and was understandable. We ordered Lahori charga for starters and lamb chomps they were both cooked beautifully, for main course we ordered Charsi lamb karahi and chicken butter balti with boil rice, these two signature dishes were also made fresh to order and were absolutely mouthwatering. We then topped it off with some Karakh chai and Kheer which was given to us complimentary by the manager.

Just visited Kamal Da Dera on alum rock road. Food was nicely cooked especially the masala fish, it was proper cod not like the imported counterfeit Vietnamese fish. The staff was polite and the manager at the end gave us complimentary tea.

This is hands down the best restaurant in the UK, not just Birmingham. Mudasir and Tabreaz were incredibly professional, providing excellent service and suggesting the perfect dishes. I’ll definitely be back—it was an unforgettable experience!
