We went to eat in for Saturday's evening meal with friends. We definitely weren't disappointed. The food was lovely and the service as always was great, there but not there.
There was a gentle hum of conversations from the many guests of all ages.
We're very lucky to have the Basmati as our local & nearest restaurant.
What the heck has happened to the place. I have been for take away sandwiches four times in last 4 weeks and they have got something wrong every time i.e cheese and ham toastie.... No ham. Bacon sausage and mushrooms sandwich....no sausage. Not sure I am going again.
Lovely food, flavoursome, beautifully presented and good value for the price. Background music was a bit annoying and it took a little while to take our order but other than that a really nice experience and would definitely recommend overall.
I just had an incredible meal that I can't stop raving about! I apologize for not snapping any pictures, but the atmosphere was buzzing, which is always a good sign. To start, we were treated to popadoms and an array of dips, including a delightful lime-infused yoghurt dip that had such an amazing depth of flavour. For starters, I indulged in the king prawn puri, which was a perfect way to kick off the experience!
For the main course, I let the staff surprise me, and they recommended the Lamb Zorika. Wow! This dish featured perfectly hand-pulled lamb mixed with onions, garlic, and a fresh squeeze of lemon on top. It was all cooked in the chef’s signature blend of sauces and served sizzling in a skillet. The flavours were out of this world—simply beautiful!
My son and I have just been to The Bridge for lunch. I can honestly say the food was amazing and so was the service. The staff were so friendly and polite. Will definitely return.
