Solid food and drink and not too expensive given you're a captive market. Good chips and decent portions for the kids meals. Plenty of seating and service is really quick even though it was very busy. Also clean and tidy with good facilities and plenty of staff to keep tables turning over during busy periods. You can't fault Longleat for skimping on staff that's for sure.

It’s rare I have a roast dinner when I’m out for Sunday lunch. Too often they disappoint and I’m left wondering what makes my mums or wife’s so much better. No here though. I’ve been twice, and between us my wife and I have tried four different meats. All have been full of flavour, tender and generously portioned. Great spuds, massive yorkshires and rich, tasty gravy too. Proper comfort food, I’d challenge anyone to leave unsatiated. The pub itself is cosy and unpretentious and run very efficiently by a polite, friendly and welcoming team of staff. Having ticked off the beef, pork belly, chicken and venison we’ll be back soon to get the lamb and nut roast and collect the set!

Where do I even begin? The ambience of this place could only be described as post-apocalyptic. Imagine Beirut during an air raid—but with more ketchup. Chaos reigned across the tables. Empty plates, smeared cutlery, and glass cups scattered like debris. Even the leftover food looked traumatized—like it had seen things. After bushwhacking my way to the table, I sat down and immediately felt something slimy on my boot. I looked down, and there it was: the tragic remains of what looked like a half-eaten hash brown from someone else’s long-forgotten breakfast. Delightful. The floor was a living, breathing ecosystem—a sticky sea of bacteria, likely birthing new diseases as we dined. Then came the food. My partner’s burger looked like it had been curb-stomped by a retired chimney sweep. It arrived with what I can only describe as cryogenically frozen onion rings. Honestly, didn’t know onion rings could give you brain freeze. But here we are. For the price we paid, you’d think we were fine dining somewhere respectable—not experiencing a culinary breakdown in what felt like the backend of a war zone. If the Beast of Bogmoor himself had sat down for a meal here, even he would’ve asked for the manager. Good luck if you decide to try it for yourself. Personally, I’d take my chances with a spoon and a local cesspit—at least there, I know what I’m in for.

It came exactly on time and hot well packaged. The food was probably the least good we have had all week. Flavours were really nice, but will skip on starters, don't seem value for money when they were underwhelming. Would probably go to bella italia or hucks as they have both been so much consistent and value! We ordered: Starters Chicken Satay - was a little dry and not much sauce but tasted nice, you get three Pork Riblets - really nice, best bit of food, good portion of food Pork pancakes - would not order at all. pork was so dry, borderline inedible (photo below so you can see) but nice flavour, veg is fresh Duck spring rolls - really nice, but you only get three Mains: Crispy duck noodles - really nice, saucy, not much meat or veg but yummy Chicken curry - good flavour, decent portion and lots of chicken Wok fried noodles - nice, but very very liquidy Firecracker noodles - Really good, light on meat
