Cold expensive food had better from spoons staff ignored us when we wanted drinks food took over a hour and was poor quality when received will never try it again very disappointing go somewhere else don't waste your money

Very busy. Our waitress Libby was great. Very helpful even when her iPad thingy kept going wrong. Restaurant was abit untidy and the floor was messy but the food was nice. 👌👍

Service was friendly and the setting is nice and clean, but that's where the pros end. The food is expensive and very under par. The £24 ribs is a single rack of ribs out of a bag that you could get from any supermarket for a fiver. Whilst this is probably the best way of starting ribs you need to grill it before you lob the sauce on and send it to the customer, but no such luck here. Similarly the grilled corn as promised on the menu was also boiled. The fajitas were better but again the "griddled onions and peppers" were clearly straight out of a packet and not even fried for anywhere near long enough if at all. This is our most expensive meal here despite buying less drinks and yet it was the least enjoyable. If they are going to serve cheap quick food then this has a place but they need to understand that charging inflated prices doesn't reflect well on Centre Parcs as a whole.

Came and was pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing and the staff were kind and helpful! Eland was very funny! The lady dealing with bookings was quite rude to us about the fact we had arrived slightly early, which ruined some of the experience. There is also a play place for little ones.

Poor quality food at high prices delivered cold after a long wait....order drinks long before you need one as the service is slow...you'll need to ask for everything such as extra cutlery a spoon for your dessert etc as they won't offer when the food is dropped off....terrible place would not recommend if you like real food

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. More than London prices. Long hair in my food. Generally, everyone's food was pretty awful. Fatty, heavily battered items in burgers/sides. Dry and charred chicken. Massively overpriced macaroni cheese. The kids menu is pretty much identical to Foresters Arms kids menu. The highlight was the salad. Pleasant staff.

Absolutely awful experience, food was horrendous and tiny portions with an excessive price tag, god forbid I ever come back to centre parks but if I do I will NOT be returning to this dump

My partner found a bone chip in her burger, the food and starters are so sickly and everyone is crammed in so its loud and not relaxing at all. We left when we found the bone and went to Bella italia and had a lovey desert

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and our waiter Eland was so lovely and made us all smile. Will definitely be coming here again!

Booked for a birthday dinner and the entire experience was brilliant. Eland was a fantastic host and upon learning of a birthday provided a free drink and dessert. Thank you for a great experience!

We had a lovely meal here the food was good but the service was outstanding! I stupidly did not get the waitresses name but she was young, brunette with glasses and was delightful and really made it an enjoyable evening.

Eland was a great waiter always cracking jokes and giving us a great night out.

Great food and friendly service

Used to love this place. Unfortunately the food was terrible on this visit. The chips cold with no seasoning, burger burned with an over powering taste of charcoal. Drinks were nice and service was good but the food awful. It was extremely busy so maybe an off night but I will be eating elsewhere next time.

Booked a table and even paid a deposit but still had to wait quite a while. Service quite slow with staff not really appearing to be engaged. Food average quality but expensive for the portion sizes. Drinks equally pricey but no different from anywhere else on the Parc. Be aware of the service charge that is automatically added. Ask for it to be removed!

Food was a bit delayed between starters and mains but it was very busy and food was still lovely and came out fresh. Service at our table was great!

We had a really good meal in here, not too expensive and the food was lovely and hot but also served quickly. Highly recommend the ribs and mexican burger

Went our first night to dine in which was absolutely lovely. Food was tasty and incredible. On our last night we wanted to order in so we could pack. Burger was just sad as it was literally the bun and the chicken burger. No lettuce nor tomato. Mac & Cheese was very disapointing as it had no flavour at all. Felt like we wasted 50£

The food is absolute slop and the service was pretty poor. I live in the US and the only authentic American dining experience here are the US registration plates on the wall. Hard avoid.

Booked for dinner here before we came to Center Parcs, glad we did as it does get busy of an evening. We asked for a quieter table, and was given one on the outer edge which was perfect. Our server was 17 year old Georgia G, who was friendly and could not have been more helpful, thank you. Our swordfish steak and Blue cheese melt beef burger were absolutely delicious. Lovely cocktails also. Would definitely recommend this place. We will be back.

Waitress kept on saying everything was 'amazing', however I concur. The service and quality of food was sub par. Ive had better food in the nick. Waited over 40 mins for a jug of water. My colleague snapped his incisor on a rock hard corn on the cob.

Just ordered Hucks to our lodge at Centre Parcs and am hugely disappointed. My partner is autistic and can be funny with sauces so we both ordered children’s hamburgers to be on the safe side which wasn’t listed as having anything in other than the burger itself unlike the adult burgers which specify sauce/inside toppings. However we’ve found sauce in these burgers and now she cannot eat. The chips as well are practically raw and are inedible. I really don’t recommend this place, it is not cheap and is dreadful.

It was a family dinner very slow service had to ask twice how much longer. Starters were fine Burgers were not good. Won't be going back.

Weds 21st of August 2021: One of the poorest dining experiences I've had in recent memory. Do yourselves a favour and avoid. About me: Im relatively relaxed, a pragmatist and generally half full type of guy when it comes to dining experiences. This place is a microwave using preprepped food establishment peddling cheap burgers at above average prices, so expectations werent high. However, this was a below par experience throughout. Better quality has been seen at a barely functioning fast food drive through at midnight. Service wise, despite best endeavours of one polite and attentive waitress, the remaining stuff were lackadaisical, disinterested, and generally poor. Atmosphere, difficult to tell when we were crammed in to a table off in the fast distance looking out of the establishment, however, we were so close to the table next to us that I could hear the fella sucking every ounce of flesh, skin and fat off of the baby back ribs he had and clearly enjoyed (perhaps this is an isolated negative review). Upon ordering, we were eventually served our drinks. One drink was served with food actually floating throughout and I had to personally go and take to a waiter who was not particularly concerned or surprised. The table water was served in the finest of plastic cups that were clearly handed down mother to daughter for eons before making their way to this fine establishment. Food took a whooping hour and 45 mins to produce, the order was missing items and mine was 6 little cubes of steak on the world's coldest and soggiest wraps. The highlight of the night was spending the remainder of the evening in the toilet with an upset stomach. All for the measley sum of £120 of my hard earned money. Better quality food can be found in the supermarket next good, at more reasonable prices, with better customer service, best of all, it'll be quicker to ride home to your little cabin and cook yourself.

Quite busy, took a while to be greeted and seated when we arrived. Service was OK but did ask for sauces which never came and I had to go and find myself. Also our drinks took a long time to come out. Food was average, burgers didn’t have any salad or dressing in. Las Iguanas was much better!

Ordered while staying at centre parcs as we walked past from swimming. Firstly it was an hour and half wait for food, we ordered two kids meals wings and nachos and x2 chips (£60) Food arrived fair play it was packaged decent nothing leaked. Kids nuggets and chips were rock hard barely edible, kids cheese burger was so dry he couldn’t eat it small portions of chips too. Large nachos £15 just a huge amount of crisps and small amount of toppings cheese salsa etc. They also forgot to send the x2 large extra portions of chips bear in mind they were £4.50 each. Food was barely mediocre after a long day at centre we were really looking forward to trying it, never again.

This place is so expensive and the food isn’t that great. Mac and cheese was soggy and the chicken wings are so soggy as a wet towel. Great service and not recommend to go. Tgi Fridays is so better. Don’t waste your money.

Can't say much great about this spot unfortunately - drinks were fine, but apart from that many mistakes or missing things with our orders, which were delivered by mostly half-paying-attention staff. Worst case was ordering lollipop fruit for dessert and being tossed a plate of fruit slices with a 'no sticks left' by the waitress - just felt like they didn't care. This place is popular with young kids and can get very hectic, so don't blame them for being tired, but when the food was dry, old and mushy feeling there can't exactly be a benefit of the doubt - try booking elsewhere on your break

The burger was inedible - genuinely would have been better from the freezer. I paid £40 for the pleasure, it's our last day at center parcs so decided to have a food delivery and was bitterly disappointed. Reminder if you go to Center Parcs don't bother with any of their restaurants!!

Extortionate prices for very bland food. Ordered a Mexican burger it was very dry. No salad or Mayo in the burger. Very small portion of fries. Coleslaw used to be nice but was dry and disgusting. Been coming Center Parcs for 10 years this place used to be nice. £90 for family meal that we were all extremely unsatisfied by. Staff were friendly though.

Really lovely food! The staff were friendly and helpful, but we waited a long time for our table to be cleared and to order desserts. Otherwise its really great! Good value.

My personal favorite place to eat within the park, the food is expensive and service can get slow when it gets busy but this is the same with every restaurant across the park. The food is good and hearty with generous portion sizes, the menu is varied giving plenty of options, and there is a large, on-site, play area to keep the kids occupied.

Waited over 1 hour 15.mins for chicken and then it wasn't cooked so sent it back and finally got food half an hour later and that wasn't cooked either and then they charged me for it at the end!! Do not eat here, we had food poisoning last time we came so tried to avoid it this time. We will not be coming back!!

Not a bad American simulation restaurant located in Center Parcs. Food has always been good, but it suffers from the inevitable overpricing of all Center Parc restaurants. The beef brisket starter was delicious but £11 for six small bite size pieces. Ridiculous prices for a pint of beer or cider too (£6.25). Airport prices, really. Friendly service. Nice food. Extortionate pricing. 🇺🇸

Everything was ok, not horrible but not the best. I'm glad we went early because I can imagine the service slowing down and food being worse as it gets busier.

Had a lovely meal here for our 1st night at center parcs, incredible food and amazing service, it was slower service but it was worth it. P.S give Sue B a raise she was brilliant!

My son and I went for dinner but unfortunately my daughter suffers from agrophobia and could not come with us. We asked our server (Emma) if we could order a children's meal (my daughter is 24 but doesn't always eat much) and take it with us in a container I had bought with me. She arranged for a full adult meal to be delivered to our lodge and paid for it herself as she said it was amazing that we had been able to support my daughter to come on the holiday in the first place, so we all deserved a reward. That's what I call going above and beyond. Thank you Emma

Best restaurant on site extended menu with lots of choice including for people with allergies, very clean and the staff was very polite. Highly recommended 😉

We loved our meals at Hucks. A little expensive but very nice, highly recommend the hasstleback potato! The play area is convenient too.

Really lovely food. Had loads of options for gluten free which is always fab! Good value too. Only thing is kept having to wave at staff to order more drinks etc. Over all really great experience and Jake was wonderful and polite.

We had dinner here the first day we arrived. Kids food (tomato pasta) was cold. The burger, Mac cheese and loaded skins were all good and flavourful. Would definitely go again. Quantity of each adult dish was decent - we did not leave hungry! There is a little soft play area there for little ones and older kids so can keep children busy while waiting on their food and / or after they have eaten. I would recommend a meal there when at Centre Parcs. Only downside was it is not open for lunch - think it’s a missed opportunity.

Waiting staff friendly. Fajitas are nice. But they are using Poundland meat in their burgers. Come on Centerparcs you can do better than this. Took 70 mins :-(

Average Experience, Room for Improvement I recently visited Huck's Restaurant at Center Parcs, Longleat with my family during a short holiday and while there were some positives, there were also areas that really need improvement. The atmosphere as always was fun, and the general service was positive. However, there were a few aspects that fell short of expectations and one major concern related to a family members and their dietary requirements. One significant issue was the lack of knowledge and attention given to guests with allergen-related food concerns. It was evident that some of the staff need further training in handling such situations and the potential impact for getting this wrong. We were fortunate on this occasion that the issue was spotted, and rectified, without any medical intervention being required. The oversight made it difficult for us to truly relax and enjoy our meals with total confidence all would be fine. This needs to be addressed by enhancing staff awareness and ensuring they are well-prepared to accommodate guests with allergen concerns while ensuring staff realise that dietary requests are often not lifestyle choices, but health related. Prices at Huck's Restaurant are on the higher side. While the atmosphere and general service is commendable, it's essential that the quality of food matches the price point. Unfortunately, during my visit, the food did not meet its usual standard. This was disappointing, as I have previously enjoyed meals of higher quality here. In summary, my experience at Huck's Restaurant was average. The ambiance and general service were positive aspects. However, the management and staff should prioritise retraining on handling allergen-related food orders to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all guests. Additionally, attention should be given to maintaining the usual high standards of food quality.

Excellent food and service but a bit expensive. I'd highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Food was really nice especially the cauliflower wings! Service was quite quick and staff were friendly. Everything in Center parcs is expensive and this place isn't any different but the portions were very generous.

Fantastic service from Cameron L tonight. Attentive and went above and beyond for us.

We are currently sat at Hucks American bar and grill in centre parcs (Longleat). We are so over the moon with the waitress service we have received and the quality of food that we feel compelled to write a 5 star review. Sue B, the waitress is the main reason for this review as her service has been absolutely fantastic. She deserves a promotion or at least a raise! Thank you Sue for the lovely experience. Props to the chef for the amazing food.

Real mixed bag food was great service not very good food forgotten and really slow

There is a fantastic play area attached to Huck’s so we booked for 5pm intending to have a snack while our 4 year old had a play. As things worked out we ended up staying for dinner with good service from the lady front of house and the waitress for our table. Food quality was passable, basically an expensive McDonald’s, which frankly is much better than I expect at Center Parcs. Coupled with some beers it was very enjoyable. I can’t exaggerate how much fun our 4 year old had on the play area, probably the highlight of the week for him. Being able to have a half decent convenient dinner at the same time was a real winner.

Had the super spicy wings here and belly pork, the wings are cooked amazingly and just falls off the bone. Really tasty and delicious. Staff are super attentive.

We had a great meal and dining experience. Emma, (Emma with the Easter egg inspired nail art!) our waitress was great, very attentive and went out of her way to ensure we had a fab evening. Very happy diners (The hen party)

40min wait for a jug of water. If I hadn't paid the £10 deposit I would have walked out. With prebooking practically essential how you cannot put enough staff on is beyond me. Very poor our worst experience at centre parcs.

Went to Hucks for my birthday meal, Libby was Great! very attentive and food was great! She even gave me a complementary drink for my birthday! As we was leaving, Thank you very much! This made my experience memorable.

Read some reviews posted but our service was exceptional on my daughter's 2nd birthday. Food was good, expected the cost but food standard was high. Best part was Cameron's (our waiter) attention to our table and others, seemed to enjoy his job and nothing was too much trouble. There was a delay on our desert but came over to apologise without us moaning. Also a little leaving present when he knew it was my daughter's birthday.Thank you for making it memorable and your quality service. Well done.

Great food, friendly staff, not too expensive, all you can eat kids buffet, I-Station, multi level play area and nice surroundings. Whilst it's not exactly exotic cuisine (ribs, burgers, hot dogs, fajitas etc) it was very well presented and flavoursome. They have a good range of beers and cocktails too. Of all the restaurants we ate at this was the one that we'd put tip of our list for ticking all the right boxes. Highly recommended.

Ate there tonight with family, our waitress (Sharon) was amazing, she went above and beyond to ensure she catered for all our needs and we had a lovely evening. Food was superb. Would recommend.

Great service and was it was very quick with ordering food, although it was unclear whether to order via the qr code or table service. Service charge tip was ridiculous. The food was fairly nice although the portions could have been bigger for the price and the burgers were a bit dry. Nice atmosphere and decorations though. 3/5*

Quality of food was very low. The most important part of the burger (The burger patty) would be what I'd expect from a burger van at the side of a dual carriageway. Absolutely not £14 worth. Also, one of the waiters attitude couldn't be any further from "this is the last thing I want to be doing on planet earth right now" which made the experience pretty dull. Would not go back here again. They also messed our order up and my girlfriend has a dairy allergy which needs to be taken seriously.

This is our first visit to Centre Parcs Longleat and this evening we went to Huck's, an American style restaurant for an early meal. I've got to say the service & food couldn't have been better, we had a lovely lady called Michelle who waited on us, she was such a wonderful and very kind lady, she was so lovely to my Dad who has Alzheimer's, would like to thank her so much. Xx

Mac n cheese was very watery, pay system was not explained well and caused much confusion. They did refund our mac n cheese atleast but very dissapointing considering our last visit was really good

We have been coming here for 10 years, including Hucks many times, and have never been so disappointed with a meal. In comparison to an experience at Smith and Western, or similar chain of restaurants, Hucks is appalling. We sat down at our table and were quickly ushered over to a table underneath a tv screen meaning we couldn’t watch the movie being played. We were also informed that everything needed to be done via the app - something that has never had to be done in the past whilst they explained there’s no other choice to order in person. We ordered and our starters came before our drinks. Our mains also came whilst we were eating out starters. What happened to giving time for people to talk, and finish their starters? I ordered ribs and sweet potato chips. The ribs were mediocre and the chips were awful. No care from the staff whatsoever - almost like a factory line (in and out.) The alcoholic drinks we ordered hardly had any alcohol in them, with me not even noticing the alcohol in my mojito - it almost tasted like minty water. Throughout we were never asked how our meal was and the staff just never seemed to care.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! We discovered the “new thing” at Center Parcs is to order everything via you’re phone! Whatever happened to having a person take your order??!! Having walked from nearly an hour from the far side of Fir with 3 young children (The train wasn't running), myself and my family were desperate to order some drinks. But first we had to workout how to register and signup for the booking app, entering and verifying home address, contact details, credit card details etc. I’m on holiday, I don’t want to be installing apps and registering new accounts when I’m meant to be out enjoying a meal!! I complained to a member of staff about having to do this instead of her simply taking our order the way it has been done at every other restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life, she was extremely patronising towards me and said that all restaurants were now doing this! However, she did actually say that this method of ordering wasn’t very popular with a lot of customers! When I explained that we were all gasping for a drink, she didn’t believe we’d just walked for nearly an hour to get there! When the food came, my children’s drinks were room temperature and I had to leave our table and go and find a member of staff to get them exchanged for chilled ones. The food was served lukewarm and my fritters were undercooked, still raw liquid batter in the middle. I couldn’t ask for them to be taken off the bill, as we’d already paid in advance! We have brought our children up with the rule that phones and electronic devices are not allowed at the dinner table. Then, there we are, my wife and I sitting for the first 15 minutes of our meal staring at our phones, registering and ordering our meals! This is not how a restaurant experience should be! I’d like to know what happens if you have forgotten your phone or its battery has died, as when I requested to order via a member of staff, I was told that this was not possible and it had to be done via our phones! We’ve been going to Center Parcs for 20 years and Hucks used to be my favourite restaurant, the kids used to love it too, as they loved the buffet, (which they no longer do). However, Hucks has been steadily going downhill for the last few years and this last experience was a new low. We will not be returning to Hucks again in future Center Parcs visits, this was the last straw and the last time!

We have been here 2 Years running with a great service and great food… an amazing waitress called Emma who couldn’t do enough for us..such a rare experience when someone lights up you dinner experience in the way she did… look forward to our annual trips back to see Emma and the restaurant… don’t hesitate to go..!! I really liked my visit to Center parcs a few weeks ago, and at Hucks the staff were really friendly and the food good. The reason I only gave 3 stars is that ordering is still enforced via a QR code. I feel this is a really impersonal way of working and when with people who are not tech savvy, this just causes issues. After navigating the app and finalising our order, we had to wait to receive a text message to verify our bank card usage on the app which due to there being no signal at center parcs, did not arrive. So 20 minutes later, we were still without a drink and decided to scrap the app and called over a waitress. Additionally, the app asks if you want to leave a tip when placing your order yourself and before dinner arrives. I feel for the staff here as they informed us the decision to continue using the QR code was a way to cut staff numbers whilst serving more tables (added in a recent refurb). The staff are losing the customer interaction piece and have seen a dramatic reduction in tips. I really enjoy center parcs as a whole, but things like this re-enforce the suspicion I've developed in recent visits that there is corner cutting going on where possible. Would I come again, absolutely, but I just hope policy changes to allow guests to choose to use the QR code or speak to a real person when placing their order. There is nothing more annoying than coming out for an evening meal and having to create yet another online account through an IT system.

Absolutely lovely restaurant! Came on the first and last night of our honeymoon, the last night especially was wonderful, food incredible and our waitress Tabitha noticed I had bride written on my facemask at the end of a meal and insisted on gifting us a bottle of bubbly and some brownies as a send off/ congratulations. She made us feel really special! Thank you!

Would have been two stars but gave it three because the whole experience was quite amusing. Sue is a bit of a legend to be honest. Her comedic responses got us through the 60 minute wait for our dry food. She deserves a raise!

PoundLand TGI Friday's at Hard Rock Cafe prices and McDonald's quality. Incredibly average food, mostly tasteless. Had a very dry burger and partner had ribs which, even though covered in sauce, just tasted of pork. Onions rings are loaded with grease/oil, very off-putting. Worst Pina Colada I've ever had too. Had to order on an app which I don't expect with the high prices, which failed on us twice. Waitress seemed a little put out when we asked to order the normal way. If you want a decent burger and cocktail, head over to Las Iguanas. The Buenos Aires burger is to die for!

Ordered a Mac n Cheese for delivery. When it arrived it had no garlic bread as it was advertised. Also tasted like a tinned meal. I also ordered a Chicken burger meal for my wife and the chicken was bright pink in the middle. Fortunately my wife realised and then cooked her own meal at 10pm. I wont reorder from here again.
