The best restaurants in Minety Wiltshire South West

Such a lovely spot. Even on a sunny but damp day it was excellent to sip lovely hot coffee, so close to the water. I'll be back for a meal next time I'm in the area. Really friendly, accommodating staff.

Lovely local pub. Had an absolutely delicious steak with pepper sauce. Would recommend The Wheatsheaf highly.

Lovely cafe, breakfast was very nice although a little pricey. The tea was really good.

We stopped here as doing a ride about. Never been here before. There is parking at the back of the Inn. Plenty of seating outside next to the road but is ok. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Inside nicely decorated and plenty of seating. We didn't have food but did look and smell nice. Did seem a bit pricey for two drinks and two packets of crisps. It is situated in a nice place. Between Chipping Sodbury and Malmesbury on nice back roads. Nice views along the way.

We absolutely loved it at this pub. The food is all home cooked and is delicious, homely fare. We had fish and chips, liver and onions, and gammon egg and chips and all declared it delicious. Puddings were superb! The beer is excellent and well kept. The landlord is friendly and the young waiting staff very good. It is a genuine pub with really good home cooked food at very good prices. There were a lot of locals in there and we could see why. We loved it and highly recommend a visit to a good honest pub.

Nice ales and quite good food. But run down Need a better management overall Little drab and the garden needs a lot of attention Fells very depressing and needs a good clean and freshen up. With a little attention and more in the way of decorating could bring more joy and customers Sad to see as it’s the last pub in the village

Great service, limited menu. Unfortunately no fish which knocks out 3 items on menu. The lamb shank, burger, korma and chicken were all well received. Really enjoyed comfortable outside seating with very friendly service. Also, 2 draught Adnam beers which were good.

2nd time we have been back to J K's bistro and it did not disappoint, relaxed atmosphere, the gentleman that served us could not do enough for us and we were a bit picky Great varied menu with different things on you do not see in other places around, prices reasonable., friendly staff. Will be back !

This was our first meal out after lockdown and what an excellent meal it was. Our Sunday roast was delicious as was Mum’s scampi & chips. The desserts were equally tasty. The service was very cheerful and prompt. We wish everyone at the White Horse a successful summer and beyond. Thankyou

Food was absolutely outstanding had scallops and fregola and chicken Caesar salad absolutely gorgeous. There doesn’t appear to be enough staff on at times to cope with busy periods and that is the only thing I can state as they are very polite and attentive
