Amazing!!!! Food and service is always 5*. We are regular customers and wouldn’t go anywhere else for dinner. All reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere with super helpful and friendly staff.

Had the pleasure of visiting this venue for the first time last week, missed the tulips on Thursday, overall a great location, and the facilities are very good, especially the variety of the farm shop, and more importantly the coffee shop very impressed. Quality has a price in my view it is sots on the verge of getting pricey in the shop, I agree that price and quality are closely linked, certainly quality seems to be of paramount importance as is Service, just hope this doesn't get too expensive to enjoy frequently! Great venues and plenty of facilities for all ages. Well executed as a farm shop business. Well-done!

Really nice venue and great after a walk. We had drink’s and they were lovely, served by friendly staff. Just a word to the wise. The flat white is just a latte in a smaller cup for the same price. Mocha just tasted like a hot chocolate, not really sure if any coffee was added.

Overnight stay with dinner. 5* service, excellent staff, nothing too much trouble. 4* room - clean, functional, nice towels … lumpy fibre pillows & fibre duvet prevent the room from getting a better review. 3* food ….. disappointing given the small menu citing locally sourced food. Was not overly impressed with fish of the day, described as ‘pan-fried line-caught fish with pickled fennel and garlic & lemon sauce vierge’…. no problem with the fish but sauce vierge should be a herby lemon sauce with chopped fresh tomato. What we actually got was a piece of fish covered in lumps of sun dried tomato sitting on a bed of pickled fennel. All I got was an overpowering vinegar flavour that masked the fish. There was no sauce! Sides of broccoli and colcannon mash also disappointing- broccoli supposed to come with lemon oil and sea salt - in reality it was a tragic little bowl of un-dressed florets. Colcannon mash what was described on the menu as being with celeriac, kale & cheese but seemed to mainly be mashed potato with a bit of green stuff & a smidge of cheese. I’m also very sad to report that the tiramisu wasn’t particularly great. A great tiramisu is sponge fingers soaked in coffee and masala wine, topped with zabligone cream and a dusting of cocoa powder. This one was layers of dry sponge with thick, thick mascarpone and a hint of coffee flavour. If the food had lived up to my expectations I would have given this place five stars and forgiven the lumpy pillows, but maybe the chef was off sick and the kitchen staff were doing their best. I like to give a fair review and I believe the meal we experienced was probably not the norm - but a fair review is a fair review.
