Amazing!!!! Food and service is always 5*. We are regular customers and wouldn’t go anywhere else for dinner. All reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere with super helpful and friendly staff.

Excellent find. We needed a room for one night. Can't find one fault on this little gem. Our Room was very comfortable and extremely clean throughout. We had an evening meal here. Wow! Excellent is an understatement and as for their Beer it was Nye on perfect. The staff were so welcoming and cheerful and really made you feel comfortable. 10/10 Thank you Blue Lion 🦁😍❤️

Top 👍🏻 Sehr, sehr Gastfreundlich! Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal!! Das Essen ist gut Bürgerlich mit schönen Finessen! Wir hatten als Vorspeise das Gebackene Brot mit Erbsenmus und Tomaten. Das war sehr kreativ und sehr lecker! Als Hauptspeisen hatten wir das Original Fish& Chips und das 10 oz ca(280g) Steak mit Pommes! Habe das Steak medium bestellt und es war auf den Punkt zubereitet!! Haben untereinander probiert und beide haben des anderen Essen gelobt! Einfache Gerichte perfekt zubereitet 😋 Der Wirt selbst hat in einer kleinen Pause sogar noch unserem Hund ein paar Leckerlis gegeben, was ich persönlich eine sehr schöne Geste fand! Schade das wir das Lokal so spät entdeckt haben, wären gerne öfters gekommen!

The latest chef joined last month, from the Oxenham Arms. My goodness he can cook! our two most recent meals have produced dishes of the highest quality, right up there with the well known local gastro pubs in the area and at a fraction of the price! Last night we both had the chicken dish off of the specials board, absolutely perfect, mouthwateringly succulent; cannot fault it. As good as we've eaten anywhere and only £15-95. The pubs has several perfectly kept ales and a varied and keenly priced wine list. Recommended.

Amazing Inn, if you are on vacation in the area this is a must stop for the night. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is the perfect English pub in the English countryside. The building has history which makes it so charming. And the best part of it all is the customer service. The folks that own this Inn and pub are absolutely fantastic! They were so friendly especially the gentleman who runs the place, we had such a good time and many laughs. Highly recommended. Thanks for having us, the Canadian couple.

50 Brook StreetSorry no photo, pasty too good to waste time on that. I have lived in Cornwall for over 20 years and tried almost every pasty on offer. Usually go for one with a bit more pepper in it like the ones from Hayle. But these have a better balanced flavour and really quality meat content. Lovely.

Whitchurch RoadWow! I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Incredibly helpful, delicious food / drinks - the perfect hosts. We ordered starters to share (the cheese melting pot and some squid), then I had the best venison of my entire life and my boyfriend had a delicious burger (50% beef, 50% streaky bacon). The chef, Ben, came out to speak with us as I have a potentially tricky lupin allergy and he talked us through all their local suppliers and ingredients used, he was happy to adjust any dish to suit which was so appreciated. We felt at ease the second we walked in, as the bar / wait staff were so friendly and helpful. The pub itself is the perfect blend between old / new, with fairy lights to help ambiance and wooden beams / original features to anchor the place. 10/10 would recommend in an instand! PLEASE GO TO THIS PLACE!

1 Market StreetSecond time I have stopped here on cycle tours. Perfect for the hungry cyclist ! Large selection of hot and cold food, particularly good for hot breakfast and brunch options. I had porridge which was an enormous serving, see photo! Friendly service You can leave the bike opposite across street to keep an eye on it Has toilets
