The proprietor kept it open for us to enjoy tea and coffee- which ere excellent- in a Covid-safe manner, and provided outstanding home cooked scones as well

Dropped in for a coffee over the Christmas period. Nice and warm, cosy with friendly staff, good coffee and range of cakes and lunches. Warm, clean toilets, will be back.

When the Saturday Pannier market is open Shaun will normally be there serving great food, and selling his spices, and sauces We both had the Chicken shawarma, and it was great- plenty of met, great range of veggie, in a massive wrap Great value for money, and really tasty

I met with my friends at No 37 today. We all enjoyed our food - the best cheese scones ever! We have always loved meeting here and are very sad to hear that it is closing. Best wishes for your future endeavours.

If I could award six stars, I definitely would! The breakfast pie was phenomenal—stuffed to the brim with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, and all the trimmings, topped with crispy hash browns, and finished with a generous drizzle of my favourite sauce. It was pure perfection!

Excellent Sunday Lunch : Lamb was beautifully cooked and the accompanying vegetables perfect The waitresses were very attentative and efficient.In all an excellent dining experience.

We decided to give the Green Lantern a try, after not visiting for a very long time. Disappointed to say that it felt unusual to have a cafe serve coffee from a vending type machine that you might find in an old petrol station. Was insipid. We ordered a baguette and a toasted sandwich. The bacon was rubbery, think it may have been cooked earlier and warmed up, and it wasn’t very toasted! Such a shame, but we wouldn’t visit again.

Great little ‘no nonsense’ & friendly village pub. The extensive menu catered for all tastes and as if that wasn’t enough, there was a specials board which made choosing even harder! Good beer, good food, a good welcome….and so a good evening! Definitely recommended.

I recently visited Torrington Charcoal Grill and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The kebabs were perfectly grilled, with just the right balance of spices, and the sauces complemented the dish beautifully. Amazing authentic Thai food with real Thai ingredients! Large portions and delicious! We had been walking miles in the rain and the food was perfect to warm us up with the addition of a friendly owner who had amazing stories of his days in Thailand :)

We had the sweet chilli chicken box & Taffs special cod box & it was amazing, so tasty & filling, prepared & served by lovely, friendly & polite staff. Highly recommend

Called in on our way home to check out the station and cafe as we pass it monthly yet have never stopped. What a mistake this has been. The place is great, clean, quirky, and with great friendly service from the crew - coffee has to be the best we have had, and food is delightful, hot, and tasty and all this at a really good price - will be back to try the hot chocolate selection and the cake stand

Afternoon Tea- delicious, large portion, good selection of sandwiches, cakes, and scones. VERY reasonably priced. Lovely location & friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit.
