Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The landlord and staff were very welcoming of us when they were very busy. Thank you.

We had booked a table here as it was a halfway point for family members to all meet up. Warm welcome from the landlord and the waitress was friendly and allowed time for us to consider our choices. The menu was small but sufficient choice for all eating. The fish cakes were delicious and spring rolls with the sweet chilli dip a good option for starter. We all had something different as a mains and everyone enjoyed their dishes; not a scrap of food left. Nice ale on the bar and the ladies shared a very nice Sauvignon blanc reserve. Highly recommended and we will be visiting again next time we visit family

Went up to Great Torrington to buy a woodworking machine and wanted somewhere for supper - looked on Tripadvisor and found this place. Thanks everyone who left reviews before - we had a really beautiful Thai meal. Food was super fresh, great zing and spice and we just wolfed it down. Thank you.

Fantastic gem of a place. Great cask beer, utterly delicious Thai food and great service from the landlord and his lovely wife. He took our booking even though he’d been away so wasn’t sure if he was opening and made it a great evening. HIGHLY recommend and we’ll be back!

Absolutely outstanding food, you can tell that a lot of time, effort and care goes into the dishes. The owner gave a friendly welcome too.

We have been several times and had two takeaways over Christmas this year. The food is sublime. Far and away the best Thai in North Devon.

This place has by far the best Thai food around. We never go anywhere else. The decor may not be for everyone but I personally like it and it adds to the deceptive experience. The chef's food is amazing everytime and the front of house guy is so welcoming. Always willing to fit you in where they can if you've popped in on the off chance (always wise to book). Can't wait to come back. We really miss the curry pasties..... So good.

The food here is second to none and perfectly priced. We regularly visit the area and when we do we always book a table. The friendly welcome, nice atmosphere accompany the food really well. The take away service is also a god send as we can’t always dine in as we have young children. It’s a pleasure sitting at the bar with a beer shooting the breeze whilst we wait for our food. We went on a Sunday night and sat outside to eat. Very good Thai food and friendly staff. Sadly, the peace of the evening was spoilt by local yobs on quad bikes being a serious noise nuisance. Felt so sorry for the landlord who reported the problem but was ignored by the police.

Very welcoming and warming at atmosphere, lovely building which is obviously very old. The food was excellent, I couldn't fault it, very interesting Thai food which is unusual for a pub. The service was very quick and staff were very friendly, again, I couldn't fault their service. My only complaint would be the toilets were not very clean, this could be improved.

Authentic, delicious Thai food. Crispy duck with mango sauce, and a red Thai chicken curry… Well worth a visit if you are in the area of Great Torrington. Enjoy!

When we are visiting the area we always make a point of visiting here for an excellent Thai curry. The picture book thatched property is full of character in a location that is slightly unusual due to the derelict old dairy factory opposite. The food is fantastic and the owner’s are very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely traditional pub with good beer and excellent Thai food. The pub has a quirky internal layout with plenty of space. The welcome was warm and the staff engaging and friendly. We were a group of ten eating dinner and we had a great time. The food is really good and comes in at around £20 per person including drinks. Would definitely go again.

The food at this charming, thatched pub is all freshly cooked by their talented kitchen team and tastes amazing. I would strongly recommend booking a table. The chicken satay, sweet and sour prawn and green curry are highly recommended.
