Cosy and welcoming pub! We went for Friday night fish and chips which was delicious. Crispy and light batter, home made tartare sauce was a delight and their curry sauce was very nicely spiced. Overall, well worth a visit. Lots of locals too which is a great sign!

Mid-week, mid-November lunch. Restaurant was quiet but welcoming. Food was truly excellent. Fish perfectly cooked. Vegetables crunchy and very tasty. Delicious sauce. As good as I have eaten anywhere. Quite exceptional, especially considering the location on Exmoor.

We called to warm up after an hour at Haytor. We sat at one of several empty tables & waited for the waitress to take our order. When she finally came, she first said " did you wait to be seated? Instead of a friendly greeting! She then took our order for hot drinks, but said "there's no hot chocolate". Not exactly the best 1st impression. We then waited for 30mins for the order to arrive, but there were only 3 drinks. The second waitress apologised & went back to make the 4th drink. Which finally arrived when the rest of us had finished ours! We won't be going back anytime soon. Which is a shame because the interior is really warm & stylish with an open log fire.

I took my mum and auntie to lunch today for the Christmas festive menu. Firstly, the service was incredible, kind, warm & welcoming, felt like we were the only people in a busy pub! Then what we all wanna hear, the food!! Wow, we all had the 3 courses and they were incredible. Starters were delicious and huge! The roast turkey dinner was lovely, lots of meat and the veggies were fresh! Then the dessert was just the perfect end! I don’t normally write reviews but this is a well deserved one! I will be back all year round but definitely back next Christmas! Thank you! ☺️

Great jacket meal deal, pulled pork was lovely. Lady who serviced us was jolly, friendly and helpful. She really made us smile and is the reason I went to the effort of popping on a review, great service deserves recognition

We go to the Towers frequently for a lunch stop. We find the lattes very weak,so today we asked for a extra shot, which made a great difference, but the downside was,we were charged an extra £1.40 per cup.

The sausage rolls were mostly pastry with hardly any sausage meat at all. Well as far as the saffron buns I could build a wall with them, they were that hard and dry even my dogs turned there nose up at them Definitely will not be buying from Warren's again
