Warrens Bakery in Teignbridge

The sausage rolls were mostly pastry with hardly any sausage meat at all. Well as far as the saffron buns I could build a wall with them, they were that hard and dry even my dogs turned there nose up at them Definitely will not be buying from Warren's again

I want to start this and say that I don't normally write reviews but after what my family and I endured I felt like I had to, to warn others about it. As we're on holiday we decided to treat ourselves to some drinks and food after walking around trago mills, and so we decided to stop at Warren's Bakery. However, as soon as we went into the bakery we were met with two very misrable and unhelpful servers who just simply watched as we reached right across the counter and behind the plastic wall to collect our order, a simple, "Do you need a hand?", would have been nice or just simply taking the initiative and placing it in a suitable spot for collection like any normal person would do. After finally collecting our food and drinks we sat down on a bench (which was smeared in bird poop) and started to eat our food which also turned out awful. In the bacon and chicken "bomb" the only thing I tasted was cheese, an over powering taste of cheese. No bacon or chicken. The cheese and onion pasty was 99% onion and 1% cheese, not very nice. The hot chocolates we ordered tasted of nothing but sweet hot milk. The tea was the only bearable part of the whole experience. As part of a deal on at the time we got two donuts and a chocolate cookie. The donuts were solid and unbearably sweet and the cookie tasted like a regular cookie that called itself chocolatey. Overall the experience we had was terrible because of two unhelpful, uncaring servers, awful food and drink and less than desirable seating conditions. And to top this all off, EVERYTHING was TRIPLE THE PRICE. My advice is go anywhere else other than Warren's Bakery in the stretch of places to eat because I guarantee you will have a better experience at half the price. I'm thoroughly displeased and will not be going to it ever again, and neither should you.
