Absolutely awful, driver couldn't find our house despite us being on the main road. He then blaimed me and said i gave the wrong address!! Obviously I wanted to pay for an order and send it somewhere else. Needless to say the food arrived stone cold after me standing outside for 20mins trying to find the driver. When I called him he said stop calling me I'm trying to get an Internet signal. What a diabolical service, called the shop and they wasn't interested, won't be going there again that's for sure

£2.50 for a small yazoo? Are you actually serious? The food is good from this place but I'm proper pissed that you ripped us off by charging £2.50 for a small yazoo. That I'd taking the piss.

I went In other night and specifically told them I've not had a decent kebab since living in Devon .. I said make me your best special mixed kebab possible..it had to be the worst food I've ever had it looked like something a dog had left and no one picked it up . I threw it away it was that bad . I do have a pic of it bit don't know how to share it Please do not go here it's terrible

Food is absolutely disgusting. Its all greasy and looks horrible in itself. It was also stone cold. The driver Ali took forever to deliver my food which ended up in the bin anyway. Stay away!!!!

Ordered a takeaway with ketchup, it was completely covered in ketchup, inedible, but hey we all make mistakes, I called them and they were so rude to me, I offered to send a photo, they suggested social media so I did.

We have just had the most delicious kebab from Alis, this is a first for me.. chicken shish kebab and my partner had a mixed lamb and doner kebab.. the meat was succulent, and plenty of it, my only thing would be to have a naan bread instead of a pitta, but overall absolutely delicious!!

Dirty filthy dump. Owner smokes and doesn't wash his hands,food is horrendous and colder than ice cream,how this hole is still open is unbelievable. Avoid unless you want serouis bumwees

Not outstanding food. Quick telephone answering and delivery within 30 minutes. I went for large lamb doner. Loads of kebab meat but slaw did not have mayo. Seemed limited salad and the chilli sauce seemed to be a chilli jam? Fresh salad but it didn’t taste that “lamb” to me? Daughters cheese burger wasn’t great and chips were that awesome. Probably not order again. Prices reasonable and delivery staff polite.

1st visit and last. Went here to get a nice Kebab on our way home. First impression wasn’t great but shop has been there a long time so expected food to be good. Ordered 2 Donner Kebabs. Normally the meat is put in the pita with the salad on top. They just put a pitta in the box and piled everything on top, on in the pita. Is was horrible. Wouldn’t return.

Ordered a takeaway over the phone, nothing fancy just kebab and chips. There was a difficulty getting the man on the phone to understand me as he struggled to understand English. Call up multiple times to ask where the order was and to confirm the address, 2 hours later I'm told the order has just left. Another hour later, still no food so ive now given up and ordered from another takeaway. Food arrived withing 25 mins, no issues at all!!!

Food was late and Donner kebab was grisly with hard bits in it never ordering from here again

Awful. The only positive thing I can say is that after the bad food that was cold and the lack of care when we phoned to complain, I drove into town and got a full refund. I definitely would not recommend this place or it's food. Edit: Had food a couple of times since "coldfood gate" and it wasn't bad. I wouldn't recommend it, but I wouldn't say anything against the recent food I've had.

Sorry not a good eateryvas it used to be...chips were OK at least hot. The chicken kebab was awful .chicken was over cooked hard..and as for the salad it was non exsistant. .£12 for a load of rubbish to be honest was not impressed also they only take CASH.. yeh really there are losing out as a lot of people don't carry cash there problem I suppose .won't be back ..infact they should give me my £12 back. ..a load of nothing .suggest they get their act together

Do NOT use this place. Our food was 1 1/2 late. Cold and tasted disgusting. We tried to get a fresh order but they were useless. We ended up having a few mouthfuls and ended up really sick. Just vile. My dog didn’t even want it.

This gentleman doesn’t tell you exactly what’s going on, doesn’t understand English Charges you £1 for a plastic pot twice never tells you that is the charge Never tells you cash, only just doesn’t take card Highly recommend, nobody goes to this business. Shocking unprofessional should be closed down, no business etiquette whatsoever.

Kebab ok,stale pitta bread too much sauce, but the cheesy garlic pizza was awful, guessing it was reheated because it was cold hard dry and not alot evidence of cheese. We threw away emailed owner privately but no response. Can't waste money on bad food.☠️👎👎

Delivered wrong order, phoned up to let them know then they argued that it was all correct their end and that we ordered wrong. Despite ordering via just eat and having what we ordered on the order reciept 'correct' in black and white. Very unhelpful and rude member of staff!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !!!!! 2 Hours just for a kebab and chips. I ordered a simple kebab and chips at 6:00 but didn't arrive until after 8:00. They couldn't find my address even though I told them to call me when they were outside, as I live on the third floor. I could have given them directions. When I rang the store to find out what happened they spoke very poor English, were very rude and claimed they had rang and text me which is untrue 'cus I have no texts or missed calls. The food arrived cold and the chips where very stale. Plus it was a tiny portion for an extra large, I am still hungry . I'm never ordering from them again. I wish I could get my money back!!

Not sure why the reviews aren’t higher for this place! I’ve had burgers and chips from this place twice since I came home from uni for Christmas and I love it. :) 5/5 for quality and flavour 5/5 for speed getting here 4/5 for portions 5/5 for prices Just really good! Will order again when I’m home. I hope your reviews go up - not sure why they’re not at least 4/5. P.S. everybody, their reviews are higher on JustEat

Ordered food via Just Eat, first time order as we're new to the area. Ordered my wife a shish chicken kebab. What turned up was 5 pieces of meat in a pitta bread, bit of cucumber tomato and lettuce, the mayonaise was watery, no taste and Luke warm. See photo to cast your own judgement. Pizza was "floppy" not crispy and Luke warm. Thanks but we'll try another local takeaway next time..

Absolutely shocking said would send me a link to pay 3 times I had to call back to say hadn't received the link so said would pay cash. I ordered a shish chicken kebab with salad coleslaw and sweet chili sauce and chilli sauce and chips . Within 10 minutes of saying would pay cash I received my delivery ( to quick ) I opened my food my kebab had the salad and coleslaw granted but the pitta bread rock hard around the edges and the chicken was ok but very dry as no chilli sauce or sweet chili sauce the chips were stone cold !!!!!! It's obvious to me they prepared the order when I originally called them but 20 minutes later and 3 phonecalls to say I hadn't received the link to pay I offered to pay cash the order was delivered within 10 minutes!!!!! I called Ali's kebabs and said my kebab had no sauce and was really dry please could they at least send me up some pots of chilli sauce and sweet chili sauce they said if I want to the kebab shop they would rectify my order I informed them tht it was 12 o'clock at night I had had a drink and that being the reason I ordered a takeaway with delivery in the first place they put the phone down on me and wouldn't answer when I tried calling back so absolutely rubbish customer service skills wouldn't order from them again if you paid me

Customer service is so disgusting. Ordered four meals and only one was correct. I only wished we had looked at the reviews first before ordering. Spoilt what should have been a lovely meal with family we don't get to see often. Please avoid if you want to eat what you order and not what they think you want to order.... Kebab meat old and dry, chips cold and tasted absolutely awful. Avoid avoid avoid

The food has always been good, decent for what you pay but the attitude of some of the delivery drivers is awful, pretty sure if I ever spoke to a customer like that Id be fired.

A friend of mine ordered a pizza and i thought I’d also have one. So i called to see if they could get them on the same drop off. Yes. So two orders to the same place, so two delivery charges this is only a 12 inch pepperoni with mixed peppers. Turns out that’s £15.50 for a very bland pizza. It did arrive quickly, was hot and the delivery driver was pleasant, hence the two stars. However, there just really wasn’t any taste to it, as mentioned it was just bland, a bit undercooked on the base for my liking and q moist top. Lots of crust which equates to as little ingredients for the top as possible. The plain crust was an inch all round on a 12 inch pizza. I couldn’t recommend this, although it was still edible.

Ordered 2 kebabs from here and not only did they take over an hour and 20 mins, but we found to our disgust that the pittas were mouldy. I rang the outlet and was greeted by someone who couldn't care less. He just said when you're putting salad in you can't tell" Really? You don't check your stock? Well he refused a refund, even partial and just wanted us to have 2 more pitta breads next time!!Told him there won't be a next time and that I would be reporting this, to which he thanked me. Lol. DO NOT USE its not the 1st time we've had an issue.

Made and order over the phone and received a meal missing ingredients, phoned to get the meal and all the ingredients that were ordered only to then be argued with by both the staff and the manager. There normally good but after this i recommend never ordering over the phone as they are apparently useless. Won't be getting food from this clown outfit again 😡

We spent £22 on a takeaway, placed the order for 7:45 at 6pm, plenty of time to get it here and warm. That’s where we were wrong. It arrived at 8:05, stone cold and tiny. What portions sizes are this?!? I ordered a large cheese and chips at £4 and we revived about 20 chips, cheese not even melted as they were that cold. Tried to call the restaurant but can’t get an answer and judging by the reviews that’s common. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else!

We had the best Chicken Tikka Kebabs ever from here. There was loads of meat, plenty of fresh salad too. There were even a couple of whole jalapeños. Good service too. Thank you.

If you like your chicken shish kebab practically incinerated on one side, this is the place for you. Strangely enough it was presented within the pitta bread good side up. Perhaps nobody has told them it’s obvious when you taste it. Awful and will not return!

We ordered a take away via the website. We live at Seal Hayne so it is a 30 minute round trip to pick up. On arriving home we realised they had given us the wrong take away. When we phoned to explain we didn’t receive an apology, but were instead told “bring it back, you were only here 5 mins ago”. I asked if we could have a refund to save another 30 minute round trip, but was refused. My wife however decided to return the take away and collect another one. Upon arriving back at the kebab shop she was told it was her fault and that “we don’t have time to make another take away”. No apology or acceptance that it was their mistake. An hour later than planned we sat down to eat an average (at best) take away. AVOID AT ALL COST - poor food and even poorer service (the second order was wrong as well ).

i ordered the pizza’s and chips and extra’sthe food was over 2 hours lateevery time i phoned up, they said its on its way and hung up on me, they were rudewhen the pizza did come, they were cold, so i guess the delivery driver got lost, but they cold have phoned me, they were rubbish, and never again, please avoid,

I pre ordered online before they opened, put in a time I wanted it delivered, and it arrived 10 minutes early which is fine. It was lovely and fresh and i love the donor kebab wrap as I am not keen on pitta bread. Definitely worth a visit to this shop.

The scampi gave me food poisoning thanks alis they are normally okay and I enjoy the chips some times but this time round all I've been doing is being sick would not recommend! Sort out your business!!

Order of chicken doner and chips And a mixed doner wrap curry sauce and chips the chicken and chips was lovely the wrap was lovely The curry sauce and chips well I cant tell you that as we only got the curry sauce if we lived closer i would have gone back but sadly the cost of the fuel and the fact the rest of the food would be cold by the time we get back again out weighed going back to complain shop wasn’t even busy so can’t even use that as an excuse.

Don’t eat unless you are very drunk! The curry sauce was water and luke warm. The garlic pizza bread was super dry and could of got better from a supermarket .. and cheesey chip were average. Not worth the money

Have been a regular customer for more than 3 years. However, ordered a set meal package 4 times in august. On every occasion they failed to deliver the bottle of drink included in the package. On each occasion the driver said they would go back and get it but only one of them was good to thier word. It gets worse. Tonight we ordered at 7pm and was told 45 mins to an hour. 2 phone calls after 1hrs 15 and 1hrs 30 both assured us it was 2 mins away. Finally turned up at 8.57pm. I was hoping for kebabs for dinner...not breakfast. Will not use them again.

Had Friends over last night, ordered two Chicken Shish kebabs, One Donna kebab, garlic Bread, a Pizza and chips, and one Chicken wrap (which I must say was the biggest wrap I’ve ever seen) Must say....Food was Amazing!! Really Hot! And so tasty!! Loved it!!!

During lockdown I have had a bit of a craving for mixed kebabs. I have no idea why, as I wasn't too keen on them prior. There was little to order from on Just Eat at the time so I ordered from Ali's. Large Mixed Kebab, cheesy fries, curry sauce... you can't go wrong. Order can 30 minutes before predicted delivery time which was amazing! The food was amazing, the food was hot and the portions were very generous. Honestly really enjoyed the food. The fries were thin but delicious, the meat was just right and the packed that container full!!! I have gone back a good few times now as I really enjoyed their food. Went to them and the staff are all very chatty and friendly. Asked for a small mixed and they packed the contain to the point of bursting. The prices are about right, get a lot for your money too. The fries alone fill me up. Inside the counter does look a little damaged but minor details. Lovely workers and really good food. I do recommend.

First time using this place and never again. Chips tasted like cadboard and cold. Donna meat was Uneadable Dry grizzly and cold. Safe to say it all went in the bin and we are now cooking food at home.

Ordered almost £30 worth of food.... it arrived cold, the lamb was so fatty I couldn't eat it and was undercooked, then to top off I found a black eyebrow length hair in my food... I am blond and it did not come from me!!! No free bottle of coke as advertised either. I rang twice to complain, requested refund and they said no. I have reported to food standards agency due to poor food hygiene and will get advice on how to get my refund!!! Avoid this place like the plague in case you catch the plague!!!!

A little disappointed at my 1 small piece of bacon in my bacon and egg burger, but fast service and opening hours are handy!

I ordered food at 5:30 on a sunday the food was ment to be here by 6:30 food turned up late and stone cold i phoned to ask for money back on 1 item as the rest of the family ate theres i was told they would get another kebab out asap and it would be cooked in 20 mins , 40 mins later it did not turn up so i called and asked for my money back they said ok .5 days later the money was not put back in the account ,so i called and was told ive left it to late and no i wont be getting it back and they dont care .i was only asking for the money back on 1 item .......never again !!!

Saturday night last minute order. It had the shortest delivery time out of the options available to us. Ordered a kebab and a pizza. The pizza was pretty cold on arrival so had to micro it. It was ok. We were hungry and ate but not really the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Kebab was better than the pizza.

Do yourself a favor and do not go here, unless you really don't care about your health or money.Warning for worst food ever!!! And the food quality is very very bad had order some kebab it was so terrible could eat more than a spoonful. They need to change the chef at the earliest.To top it all, I had a stomach ache afterwards and I could not sleep the entire night. In fact I won't deny that this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Just do not go here. You'll surely find much better places at the same or lower price. We ordered 3 chicken donnor kebabs, every one was dry rock hard and well over cooked, absolutely vile, and the jacket potato was the same, rock hard on the outside and dry on the inside. The only nice part of the whole thing was the nice chatty delivery guy. Very disappointing, we wont be ordering again.

Where do I even start? I’m not even sure, to be honest. I’ve lived all over the country and in other countries, and had seem really bad takeaways. The pizza we received tonight from this place though? It’s in a league of its own in terms of awful food. Awful doesn’t even come close. Vile. Disgusting. The meat on it looked like it’d been dug up after spending 2 years lying next to a corpse in the ground. It tasted worse than it looked. I can’t even comprehend what was delivered. £23 for two pizzas and two chips? I don’t know how you lot sleep at night!! A £1 frozen pizza from Lidl would’ve been 1,000,000 times better. Do not order anything from this place. Save your hard-earned cash. You don’t deserve to taste this. Take your custom elsewhere.

Poor service, bad, cold food, bits missing, over charge as standard practise, refuse to refund. Leave the phone off the hook so you can't get through to complain. Do not bother. Shameful. Illegal practise.

I always get bad service if I go into the shop so I ordered online. They got my added note for jalapeños as it was not on the salad list, but when the food arrived more than 40 minutes later, it was cold and Missing the coleslaw. I had to order a certain value for delivery and then they added a charge which wasn't advised before hand. This. Place is a waste of time and Money. They have left the. Phone. Off the. Hook to avoid complaints and the help chat line is helpless.

First time ordering from here the only good thing about this place is delivery was quick. I ordered off the just eat app they didn’t read the note that I sent with it and if they did they chose to ignore it food arrived cold was tasteless boring and couldn’t eat half of it. Waited two hours for cold food, covered in grease. Was given a free garlic bread for the wait which was also cold... Chips were like cardboard. Terrible considering we all spent £50 on it, we were then told "we don't do refunds" so they think it's acceptable to serve terrible food and charge people their hard earned money.

Not worth wasting the £20 that I did. You could tell the chips were undercooked & soggy just by looking at them. The worst part is the pizza I ordered was completely undercooked to the point it was practically see through. Talk about food safety 🤮 £20 just to be chucked in the bin, should actually be ashamed of the “Food” you’re giving to your customers.

Had a chicken kebab from Ali's Friday night woke up at 5.30am Saturday morning, with violent stoumahs pains, within five minutes I'd got my head down the toilet, ended up not know which end needed the toilet most, seriously ill with food poisoning for the next 36hrs, Thanks Ali's for your outstanding Hygiene level, I'll not be using you again & I'll definitely not be recommending you to anyone.
