The best sourdough pizza base and lovely veggie toppings. The vegan cheese was delicious too, it was around ÂŁ14 but running costs are high these days and people have to make a living, I really enjoyed it so I think it was worth it as a lovely treat.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with a view of the sea. It has a friendly feel with nearly all the staff saying hello and smiling. Everyone was keen to answer any queries we had. The bedroom was spacious and clean with a large balcony and chairs to sit and take in the view. The spa facilities are very good, we both had a massage which was expertly done. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, it has plenty of sun loungers and a nice bar. The food in both the restaurant and the pub was excellent, we will definitely visit again.

The gastrobus has been changed! Used to be one of the highlights of the summer holidays. The Gastrodogs were perfection. The menu has the âtotnessedâ and itâs not good. The portions are smaller. Itâs not as good, but the prices are high. Even my 8 year old was full of sadness at the changes.

Excellent service, the two lads that served me were kind and friendly. Good choice of vegan options, I was recommended the 'reuben dog' which was 10/10. Definitely not overpriced as you get what you pay for. Great quality good from vans are few and far between but this was my second visit and I was once again very impressed.

As ever the service was excellent for our table of 4, however what was truly exceptional was the food. My starter was the very good smoked mackerel pate and then a superb lamb suet pudding. Others at the table enjoyed the fish pie . The kitchen has certainly upped its game! All washed down with a decent wine. Not cheap but booking recommended.

2nd time of visiting, both times unsuccessful!! Today although on line it says clearly that it was open, when we got there it didn't even exist anymore! The first time we went it wasn't open, so feeling rather fed up and shan't bother again. So disappointed as we really wanted to support a new local business đ

A beautiful, quirky beach fish restaurant with the friendliest and most efficient restaurant manager / owner, who looked after us in a way seldom experienced anywhere else. Thank heavens we booked really early! The fish was superb. There were dozens of people queuing for take aways. It's a really small place with only five or six tables so advice would definitely be to reserve well in advance, especially as there's nothing in the way of places to eat for miles! If you don't book, you'll be disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.

We go to the BeachHouse every year when down in the South Hams and was a bit worried about our return trip this year based on the recent reviews. So yes, the prices have hiked up a bit, but so have all hospitality venues in the UK in 2024. The food is still as good as it has been, though we did miss not having the seafood platter as an option, and the service was excellent, attentive and friendly but not intrusive. So we still recommend this eatery as a unique venue but owners please bring back the seafood platter or crab for November.

I have visited Dayer's on a number of occassions over many years. Always impressed with the quality of food and service. The restaurant is situated in the middle of a business park and it caters mainly for local office workers. The lunchtime menu is similar to that you will find in a good pub. Service is quick and efficient. We visited the restaurant on Friday lunchtime. The restaurant was packed with almost every table taken. Avoid the Cajun Chicken Sizzler. The fries accompanying the dish were amazing but the rest failed at every level from concept to execution. Other dishes met our expectations and we would definitely return. If the chef or owners are reading this review, please add more vegetarian options on the menu.

Visited Soar Mill Cove nr Salcombe for a Devon Cream Tea. The view from the hotel lounge was amazing and the best cream tea Iâve ever had! Fabulous scones, ample clotted cream, homemade jam and fresh strawberries đ yummy! Would definitely recommend if youâre close by!
