Borough Bites in South Hams

Total lack of customer service. Walked in to order takeaway coffee and absolutely no acknowledgment of presence. She continued preparing orders without even acknowledging me or saying ‘I’ll be a moment’ which is not taxing to do. After 5 minutes of being completely ignored I left and got my coffee elsewhere. At least acknowledge customers when they’re waiting!

In the heart of Holbeton, stands a pub so fine, The Mildmay Colours, which serves food divine. With walls that whisper tales of old, this heart of the community serving warmth in the cold. Here, laughter fills the air, night and day, In the Mildmay Colours, where the villagers play. A pint, a meal, a friendly scene, in this lovely pub, life feels serene.

We found this lovely cafe at for some gorgeous Baileys Hot Chocolate saw the menu for evening meal and booked for that night! Delicious food! Friendly atmosphere - a real find in lovely Salcombe - would recommend visit!

This is the second time I have been here in the past 6 months and there's a reason for it, service is great food is great atmosphere is great. It's only major flaw this time for me was getting a Pint of Guinness in a Timmy Taylor's glass. Was still a good pint but yeah 😅

Staff were so helpful & friendly, the food was amazing. Atmosphere was lovely. The pub from outside & inside was so clean. Looking forward to going back.
