I have visited Dayer's on a number of occassions over many years. Always impressed with the quality of food and service.The restaurant is situated in the middle of a business park and it caters mainly for local office workers. The lunchtime menu is similar to that you will find in a good pub. Service is quick and efficient.We visited the restaurant on Friday lunchtime. The restaurant was packed with almost every table taken. Avoid the Cajun Chicken Sizzler. The fries accompanying the dish were amazing but the rest failed at every level from concept to execution. Other dishes met our expectations and we would definitely return.If the chef or owners are reading this review, please add more vegetarian options on the menu.

Milburn Orchard FarmAmazing sea food with a great combination of flavours. Everything was cooked perfectly and we loved the truffle slaw. Monkfish was delicious. Love that it’s dog friendly too. Was looking forward to the marmalade pudding after seeing some reviews, but it was just a normal steamed pudding really, but still tasty.

8 South EmbankmentFood was really good . My dad and partner really enjoyed their calamari and smoked haddock. I had the ray wing which was cooked perfectly but was just not my thing ( I had never tried before) . The staff were excellent and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Liked their calamari fact there were lots of well behaved dog allowed.

Gould RoadDelicious lunch here with my toddler and fiancé. Potted crab was so delicious as was the fish and chips and the server was lovely and very attentive especially with our little boy
