Our extended family were warmly welcomed by Yvonne and her staff. This was a wake after my 97 year old dad's funeral. The buffet was excellent and plentiful. I didn't get the name of the lovely person who looked after the bar. Always a smile and extremely helpful, well done you. We will definitely visit again soon and have a meal.

Perfect meal out just before Christmas on a busy day. The staff were fantastically attentive and seemed to always check in at the perfect times. We didn't wait to long for food or deserts even with a table of 8. Will definitely be back!

Have visited a handful of times and I wouod highly recommend. Birthday afternoon tea was lovely with lots of lovely things to try. Have since been a couple of times for lunch. The staff are lovely and accommodating and the food has always been great.

A group of 9 of us visited for lunch on a Saturday. The service was fantastic, staff were attentive & nothing was too much trouble. They were great in managing dietary needs (dairy free) and made us feel welcome. We have also visited previously with a large group (22) and couldn’t fault the service. All food was on the table within a few minutes of each other and the food was lovely. The outside play area was good for the kids to escape to. The staff were great on this occasion too - friendly & keen to ensure everything was running smoothly. Would highly recommend.

My mother lived in wickwar for 97 years, so when she passed away it was fitting that we had the wake at the fox and maple, being it was on lunch time we had a selection of sandwiches and hot food ( chips, quiche, chicken strips, sausage rolls etc ) coffee and tea, we even had takeaway boxes provided to take food home with us, I would just like to say you done my mum proud, one big thank you to all. Stayed locally and thought we'd give this little gem a try! We are so glad that we did, we came back the following night. Fantastic food and drinks, amazing service and dog friendly. We will definitely be back again

Great service, but the chicken was inedible. It was almost soggy, did not have the classic crispy flavoured coating. We couldn’t eat it

If they ever have anything on the shelves, it’s cold. Don’t bother going after 12 as there won’t be anything for you to buy. A consistent waste of time. I don’t know whether it’s that’s they can’t be bothered to make stuff? They don’t get enough stuff delivered? Or that the industrial park has a lot of hugely greedy people? Never anything left in.
