Lovely food, great service, definitely be back

I booked a table for 9 for my daughters birthday celebration. We were welcomed with a smile and seen to our table. Our waiter was known to a couple of my family. He was friendly and took great care of us. Definitely provided a service with a smile. Food was delicious.

The service was brilliant and we had a lovely time. Really appreciate their lighter option for burger and the salad was delicious.

Very decent food and a sensible price. But it took an hour and 5 mins to actually get our food, with a confirmed booked table. Within your allocated time limit, it simply was not enough time to enjoy anything. A simple case of rushing punters in and rushing them out. Kitchen not up the required efficiency.

Always a friendly team looking after you throughout from the time you arrive to the time you leave, and food is always great quality. Sam was our waiter this time who was fab, but we recommend them all.

Andy was amazing and was so polite, definitely deserved my 5 🤩

The serving staff were excellent, we were informed that there was a half hour waiting time because of the large number of dinners, we told them that it was no problem, however our meals were at the table within 15 minutes

Visited this evening for a birthday meal and really can not thank the fox enough. Everything was 100% from the food to the service. Thank you. See you again

The service was excellent, very attentive and asking about our meals. The food was lovely but the main enjoyable experiance of the evening were the staff members, they can not do enough for you to make you feel welcome. Especially Andy and Martha who we have had the privilege of knowing for a long time and Harriet a new Runner.

Our server was Andy, he was very polite, engaging with the large table we were, really knowledgeable and knew everything about the menu. He is amazing, Amy at the bar was also very polite and knowledgeable. Both are an asset to your team.

Been coming to the Fox for years. The food, as always, was absolutely amazing and as always Andy was attentive and one of the best servers I've ever experienced. I would highly reccomend the roast on a Sunday. The roast was absolutely fantastic and great value for money.

Both mains were brilliant. Tried chocolate pudding which wife enjoyed but I found a bit disappointing, looked good but left unpleasant aftertaste for me. Service was very good as always.

The service was excellent. When we got there we had our drinks order taken quickly. Even though there was a change of serving staff after we placed our order the man that took over really was a credit to the pub. I wish I could remember his name as he was outstanding.

We were shown to our table immediately. The waitress was polite and efficient. The food was delivered quickly and was excellent.

Good food and drinks with excellent customer service from the waiting staff at the Fox Yate. A visit to the Fox is a must for a great dining experience.

It was easy to book online. The waitresses were friendly and smiley despite how packed the place was throughout our visit. We were warned of a 30-40min delay in receiving our food from time of order but the time passed quickly as drinks were served and our table was busy catching up with each other. Overall the food was nice - my only niggle was my order of the sirloin steak consisted of at least a quarter of fat/gristle so it wasn't really pleasant to eat, although it was cooked to order (medium-well done).

Easy to book a table service excellent especially as we had the same service as previous 😀. We have been visiting from Bristol many times over the years. Thanks Dave 😊

My husband and I enjoy our frequent visits to The Fox, usually on a Friday lunchtime to start the run down to the weekend The staff are efficient and mostly cheerful Always something on the menu to suit most tastes and a relaxed atmosphere

Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming as well as extremely efficient, the food was all lovely and everyone enjoyed it

The online booking system was very easy to navigate and quick to book. Staff were very polite from the moment we arrived. We were there for over 2 hours and at no time were we rushed. We were served by Abbie, who was very attentive and professional, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.

Good food friendly, staff good atmosphere, clean and tidy had the mix grill cooked exactly the way it was asked for Andy came and asked us if everything was ok with our food he was very professional could not fault the food or the service.

Even though the Fox were full inside when we arrived (we hadn’t pre-booked), we were able to take a table outside and despite how busy they were our service was still great. All ordered online, drinks and food arrived in a timely manner and the staff just went around their usual business happy and chilled, just busy. Always a good vibe here, and we were not disappointed.

Old reliable the fox has become our go to for family meals and special occasions. Lovely staff as always, especially Andy, even when our time was up on the table we were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the play area. Great food as always!

Haven't been here for years but will be returning soon. Food was of a really high grade, beer was lively and the staff friendly & really helpful. Outside of the pub looked fantastic and very inviting, and the inside was spotless. Obviously a good amount of money has been invested in this place and the owners should be proud

Greeted with a friendly smile at the door , shown to a non sticky table which is unusual these. Ordered drinks and food from the table, no going up the bar. Food was good and hot, all staff were helpful. A good night.

Fabulous evening for my pre hen day. Great service from Emma who really did help us have a brilliant night, her sense of humour was everything we needed and she made our night even more special and fun! Food great too. We had some late arrivals but it wasn't a problem, things were quickly sorted so we didn't have to give up our table and we could enjoy the night and relax.

Yet another great meal at the fox tonight , food was piping hot and very tasty! Was lovely to see our favourite waitress tonight, Emma, she’s always so happy with great banter , nothing is too much trouble for her 😁 see you next time!

I booked for 9 people. We are a family group wanting to get together for a meal and a get together. We were welcomed and sat in a large space near a window which was nice. The lady who served us was really nice and accommodating to some of more fussy family members. We all have a very pleasant time and will be returning soon.

Andy was an excellent waiter and looked after us. Food was spot on as well!
