Didn't have any food , The Bar service was very good, and friendly, sat in the expensive garden with friends, in the lovely Sunshine,,South west facing !,, and enjoyed the company of old and dear friends,,

Great pub, very busy but still got served quickly and had a lovely meal. Lovely pint and ham eggs and chips.

Was part of a large group(13) that dined here on a Saturday evening. Great value for money, large meal sizes and fantastic service. Well done staff! 👍

What's happened to the pubs around here? They are either shut down or dreadful. This is the latter. Perhaps the best pub in Frampton, but sadly that's not saying a lot. Came in here 20 years ago and from the looks of it, it hasn't seen a lick of paint or a penny spent on it since. Rubbish.

Ate here last evening (21/3) and the food was delicious. We were a group of 6 and everyone was very pleased with their meal. The young staff were polite and efficient.

Great value for money steak night.

Was very cramped and we were moved to a table that was larger, one of the staff then complained multiple times that they couldn't get through a gap when we'd been moved to that table. Put a real dampener on the visit.

Absolutely love The Globe, Frampton Cotterell. Whether you pop in for a half and a packet of crisps or are there for a big celebration the owners and staff always make you feel so welcome and the food is great. A home from home. Thanks all. Xx

Roast lunch underwhelming - dry and tasteless veg. Minimal gravy. Yorkshire puddings like cardboard.

Popped in this lunchtime with my daughter both had a meal from the 2 for £15 both meals were very good value and the young lady that served us was very friendly and polite...will be back without a doubt.

My husband and I had the 2 for £15 lunch menu. Both had belly pork. Food was stunning, great flavours. We will be returning soon

Better remove your statement of dogs allowed because you don't allow dogs inside. Thats not dog friendly where you should be ashamed. You're advertising next to a national walking area and all you allow is dogs in your garden/field

Great food, great service, and lots of garden space for a quiet drink at the end of a dog walk.

Sunday lunch at the globe, no idea what’s changed, but worst roast in a long long time. Undercooked potatoes, chewy yorkies, atomic yellow cauli cheese and ‘oops I put too much sage in’ stuffing. All topped of with an ‘Oh sorry £60 please’ for two adults and a child. Shame used to love this place, but won’t be back in a hurry.

Such a nice find,so nice to sit and enjoy good food and good beer without being overwhelmed by dogs shaking and getting in the way I love dogs but not when you are eating great find we had to travel to the globe but well worth it will definitely go back

The meal deal £12 for two when you order a drink in midday Monday to Sat !! This a great deal, food is really good with good portion . Good service and good vibe . It’s my second time come back for this!!

Offers excellent value on the 2 for £12 option with fair sized portions and a good variety (including gluten free options). Can be booked up mind, so check ahead. Otherwise it's a nice local, old fashioned pub with a good outside exposed seating area with a nice children's playground. While not exceptional in any specific way, it's nevertheless a nice local option to enjoy.

This is a local pub for us. Highly recommended, always a warm welcome good food and drinks. In the summer the garden an added bonus 😀

Went on a dinner time 12-2 , two meals for £12-00 service was fine food was very good for the price, staff were very friendly and polite, spent a lot of time here years ago,but first time in here for quite a few years, would go back no problem and recommend. 🏴‍☠️ UTG.

Went there march 15th for my daughters 30th birthday , we were a large group of 30 plus in the pavilion, service was very good but unfortunately the food wasn't, gammon steaks were all very fatty and chewy, the steak was over cooked and chewy, the vegetarian burger was warmed up ,dry and definitely not worth the money, staff were great but probably wouldn't go back for food again

The Globe Offers a mid day (12-2pm) Monday till Saturday specials menu which offers two meals for £12. Which is a steal. The food is really good. The portions are good though not huge. The variety is amazing. We called in on Monday and the place was already busy.WE ordered drinks, found a nice table and chose our options. One Burger, one Cottage Pie and one Veggie option later we got a bill for £18 plus our drinks. Two pots of Tea and a Diet coke. I have to say this was an excellent mid day meal and we all agreed to go back again. Give it a try.

Great food choices. Good portion sizes. All three of us loved our selections. Bar staff were efficient and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

We had my husbands 60th birthday with approx 50 guests in the Pavillion. The Globe did a lovely buffet meal with freshly sliced ham, cheese, salad, Coleslaw, potato wedges, Scotch eggs etc. Everyone kept saying how lovely it was. They also said how nice the bar staff were, even at the end when we were clearing up they didn't hurry us. A lovely evening was had by all and we definitely recommend.

Steak night....My wife and I both had the fillet and a side of scampi. Just what we needed after a horrible week last week, great start to this week.

Nice welcoming pub, food isn't great and I'd prefer some nicer ales on tap with the number of decent brewery's in the area. However it's got a great outdoor area and a lovely atmosphere.

Always our local go to pub for food, also a great atmosphere and best of all its easy walking distance from home.

Always enjoyed coming to this pub, as it's our local when we come and visit my mother-in-law. Large beer garden, nice friendly atmosphere, and there is a climbing apparatus to entertain the children.

Good food at reasonable prices. Huge beer garden to eat in so made the most of a sunny Sunday. One negative was the very limited choice of non alcoholic drinks. No alcohol free cider or beer, only lagers. Come on The Globe, surely you can cater better of alco free customers.

If you want highly priced, very average food, coupled with a tired garden this is the place for you. Inside hasn’t seen a tin of paint in decades either.

Food prices online are different to the prices on arrival, more expensive than online menu, excuse was the prices and menu differ daily (poor excuse), I ordered the chicken goujoun ciabatta with sweet chilli sauce, what arrived was chicken nuggets in a ciabatta with no sweet chilli sauce. I wouldn't eat here again, nice pub and garden but food was poor, kids menu was the same price as an adults meal, although we booked as a group food came out at different times with one child waiting 20 minutes

Really big pub garden ,wth climbing frame for kids, lovely family pub

6 of us has lunch. Good and tasty selection. Steak and Ale pie made traditionally. Yum. Could have done with a few more ales if that's your thing. Lots of outside seating.

Greeted by a table of 20 somethings who thought they were on a building site using obscenities that the whole pub could hear. As the bar staff were children they all found it very amusing. Walked out , I get enough of this rubbish at work and I don't need it when I'm trying to relax and eat.

Amazing homemade steak n ale pie with all the trimmings and gravy, delicious!! Family dinner out, little one catered for, even with little cutlery and friendly staff who served us at our table thanks to Lloyd and all the team, great experience everytime

Good traditional pub. It's the best asset being the beer garden, and as such effort bit more effort in this area wouldn't go a miss. Looking a bit grubby and tatty in places.

Iv eaten here everyday except Tuesdays as they don’t serve food and I can honestly say they give miller and carter a run for their money on their steaks 🥩 home made chips would absolutely top it off! Quality. And finally I have to thank the staff who run a very good ship very polite and professional.

Just that Christmas lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Pleasant eating area with friendly and polite staff. Will happily return here to eat again. Good job The Globe 👍

Popped in after a walk with a group of friends, stayed almost until closing time playing cards. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were great. Super cosy environment.

food staff was lovely sorry didn't take photo . Meals were large . Pudding was large .few people I was with went for child's portion and that was still good size . Couldn't fault it .food come out nice hot there was nine of us . So respect to the chef and waitress. I would come here again .

After walking a mile we were told our dog wasn't allowed in but rules are rules I guess. Food was nice but slightly overpriced for the area. Garden area was scenic but probably best in the summer.

Great Sunday Roast. Plenty of it and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent, great teamwork and very friendly. Finished off with beautiful sticky toffee pudding and really hot custard. Will certainly be going again.

I feel so lucky to have this place down the road from me. We held a party here for about 60-80 guests. The owners were so helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were amazing. Highly recommend coming here! Fantastic place to be.

Birthday dinner Sirloin pink and juicy, my wife has the Pork Belly (star of the show) amazing, lovely meal. Staff great very attentive .

Walked in for a drink and was looked at confused and told at 8pm ‘oh, were locked up now’ several people sat with a drink and not even the offer of one before they close at 9pm (stated on google).

Second meal in a week then Sunday dinner on Sunday 25th September both were amazing & delicious loads to eat well done Lloyd & your team. Will definately be back again soon.

Such a shame this pub decides to close so early ,always been a frampton institution but now sadly becoming yet another average food pub for daytime and early evening, needs some enthusiasm put back and like me the people will come

La verdad que no es un mal sitio para ir si hace bueno, tiene muchas mesas donde disfrutar de unas cervezas al aire libre y zona de juegos para los niños, pero para comer es caro para lo que es un pub.

Lovely piping hot food, steak pie was delicious and the hand cut ham egg and chips was first class. Staff were warm welcoming and friendly.

Great venue for a party great staff.

For the price I was expecting more from the food, which is why I scored low. The veg burger was tasty but a bit dry but the chips weren't great which let it down. Good points - the pub has a lovely large beer garden with playarea and is located by some lovely walks.
