Becky and kev have this place sorted great hosts and always a wicked atmosphere in here. made to feel welcome and your gunna get involved in singing if they have music pumping and will catch the staff singing dancing and having a great time as the staff are regulars too ! Frankie the great dane often makes a grand entrance she loves to say hello and she's a beauty ! Just watch out for that tail ! 😀 awesome pub 👌

Very friendly pub that has improved massively since current landlords have taken over. A real effort has been made to make you welcome. A lot of thought and effort has been put in to update this traditional pub 😃👍👏

A great old-fashioned locals pub. Pints are a great price, and the atmosphere is bustling. A good place to spend a few hours whilst drinking a few pints and playing some cards.

Hard to rate as we visited during the Winterbourne carnival. Not normal menu etc.

These guys have been running the pub for 2 years now. Very friendly and welcoming.

Visited for a cribbage match. Old fashioned drinking pub for everyone. Great atmosphere. Mainly locals as parking isn't great. I have been there before when they had a cider weekend. If you want a sociable evening, well worth a look.

Good local pub with a varied selection of ales. If you like to chat over a beer this is a good place. Can be a bit loud on occasion.

I entered the pub as a stranger and is an obviously an old fashioned pub with the locals going( who is this.)The staff were friendly and first class,served you even if a regular was waiting.I was thanked for coming in from staff and regulars. Though no food, the rolls were just an option but I have never had better. Ps The great dane is sweet.

This was my local on a Sunday lunchtime back in the mid-70s. Great pub then. Must visit again!

Lively, fun pub village with great drinks prices. New landlords are great, lots of improvements to the garden. And they put up with reprobates like us 😂

Nice old fashioned local pub with very large enclosed garden. Now under new management. They are now open regular hours and keeping drinks in far better condition. The pipes are now replaced which has improved things further. Now has 2 log burners + a 2nd interior front door to stop draughts Very homely. Enjoy Refurbishment and decorating continuing Things continue to change / improve. Worth a visit

Enjoying my visit until I assumed it was the landlady crudely insulted my friend who was trying to offer to clean up the broken glass.She told him to f#@k off you weirdo? Really get a grip you crazy woman!

First time visit. Popped in New Years Day halfway through a countryside walk. Received a very warm welcome.

Bex and her partner have made a wonderfully welcoming place here - very friendly and always plenty of cheerful locals to welcome you in. The 'baby' Great Dane is also a lovely girl and at 8 months of age is already at my hip-height on my 6'1" frame 😁 Prices are excellent. Huge, gorgeous garden with fruit trees perfect in the summer months. Plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. The atmosphere always seems relaxed and easy going. Very much recommended - watch this space as they introduce new entertainment and facilities

This pub is nastier than a festival toilet. don't sit in a locals chair or you'll get a mouth full

Great pub and greay selection of beer and cider. Have visited few times now and even taken in a boardgame or two as its nice Nd chilled. Would recommend a visit

A friendly, welcoming traditional pub. Look into every nook and cranny, the different rooms and fascinating features on the walls. There's a shelf with games to borrow. Giant garden with sheltered areas and an orchard at the back. The pints/drinks are a very good price too. I'm lucky to live close by, but it's a great pub to venture to. So close to the Frome, have a walk and end up here!

Cosy, friendly pub. Smoking shelter with heater outside. Also beer garden which unfortunately on this occasion at least had no lighting. I really liked the pub but unfortunately for me they don't do coffee and as I am always the driver and generally don't like soft drinks (unless really hot weather) was a nuisance. There is no car park but we were able to park not too far away. I think this is a lovely pub and would definitely go there again if it weren't for the lack of coffee!

Local but friendly place to drink. We stop off on a Sunday afternoon following a Mtb ride. Bar always has a plate of good cheese and crackers to have a crack at. Would recommend.
