Costa Coffee in South Gloucestershire

The place is dirty with food and tissues etc on the floors. The tables aren’t wiped properly and it just generally looks untidy. Cakes not filled up and not a lot of choice. Staff appear grumpy and unhelpful. There are far better Costa’s around

This used to be a busy and super friendly Costa. Staff wanted to engage with customers and always offered a warm welcome. A high turnover of staff snd a different management style has made it feel just like any other Costa - corporate and bland. I rarely visit, when I used to go at least once a day.

Always top service early in the morning!

It's 5 o'clock on a Sunday and there shut not ment to shut until 6pm. Me and another man were here and staff were inside but door and drive through both shut. This is the third time I've been here on a Sunday and there shut. Not good enough really

Very convenient place to spend half an hour with your toddler after the nursery opposite. Almost all of the staff have a smile on their faces and are happy to serve, but one or two can be vile and show attitude when you ask them to clean the table, smirking on the headsets to each other. And for the customers who work from this place, we don't mind you doing business meetings at this public coffee shop, but if you want the children to be quiet, you might as well find a cemetery and move yourself and your laptop to there.

This Costa is very unpredictable and the service you receive varies massively depending on which day you visit. I visited today to find the drive thru shut. The staff said that the drive thru intercom could not be used due to building works next door which is understandable but if the staff are only serving in-store customers then I would expect the queue to move slightly faster. It took me 20 minutes to get served which was disappointing as there were only 5/6 people in front of me in the queue. The 2 members of staff were very disorganised and a third member of staff was sitting in the office. When you visit on a good day this costa is great though!

Our drink was supposed to be ice cold but it was warm

Went to Costa today . I ordered a medium hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows hot as a treat . They Either the ran out of hot chocolate or they were trying to get rid of their marshmallows because they tasted old and stale . There was hardly and hot chocolate in the cup less than small , loads of cream and 8 marshmallows to fill up the cup .so I hardly had any hot chocolate because it was taken over by cream and marshmallows and they only usually give you 3 . Maybe if the marshmallows were nice I would’ve been more forgiving but it wasn’t a nice start to the morning at all. I was going to ring them and tell them but I don’t think they will care. I just won’t go back there again. :-(

My favourite Drive Through by far. Very quick and efficient, staff are all consistently lovely. They even offer to bin my empties when they notice my cup holders are full 😁. Ample parking with additional charge spaces for electric/PHEV vehicles.

Pretty standard outlet in the middle of a business park. Suspect the staff would have rather been somewhere else on New Year's Eve

Drive-thru shut on Sunday. Waited a very long time for our drinks even though there were 4 members of staff pottering about, multiple people who ordered after us got their order before us.

I go in this Costa every morning always greeted with a smile. The staff are really friendly, it's clean and tidy all the time I would recommend this Costa to anyone 👌

Not a fan of Costa as overpriced fare for not great coffee but this unit is clean and tidy and good for people meeting up for a chat or work

Quite a nice little Costa for cyclists heading into/out of Bristol, with bike locks. It's a drive-thru so you'll know what to expect (50% commuting workers, 50% families meeting), but the staff are friendly and it has a surprisingly nice atmosphere.

Just how a coffee shop should be!

When we arrived we were told if we wanted food we were to late as they were closing in 45 mins. We ordered just coffees and were told to drink them outside as they were cleaning the shop for morning. We just had two takeaway coffees in the end and left. Staff very unhelpful and rude.

Since they changed their non-dairy milk brand, the drinks are not very nice at all. Snacks are overpriced for the quality to be honest, but are better tasting than the drinks

Standard great Costa experience.

First time was great, but went again another day and waited for 10 mins to order, I was the only one there, and also waited 15 mins at the window and the girl didn’t give me my whole order, missed one of my cakes and I ordered two drink, one was full to the top and the other was nearly half full! Very inconsistent, but the first time was so swift and efficient so that’s the reason for the 4 stars, and maybe they were having a bad day…

Fabulous, relaxed space with lovely staff including Kerri who welcomed me with a smile and who treated me like a human rather than a number in a queue. Will definitely go again!

Spent a long time at this Costa catching up with a friend. We felt welcome and there was a pleasant atmosphere. Drinks were lovely, as I've come to expect from Costa, and were brought and made quickly.

Went for drive through, wasn’t open! Had to go in, annoying as I only wanted a super quick stop!

Very slow service must have taken 20 mins in and out, seemed short staffed, not in a hurry to return.

Pretty bad experience this morning. I've had 2 sandwiches, and one never made it into my bag. Ordered a Toblerone latte, was asked if I wanted cream to which I replied yes, but it seems the cream never made it and received just ordinary latte. No recipt for payment in the bag. It's over 10 min away from me not worth going back to complain or get the money back. Upset about the incompetence and bad service.

Choice is smaller than in shops in town but the usual quality.

Typical Costa, drive through. I walk through though and it's hard to get to for the average bipedal. Have to climb a fence to get back out too.

Very friendly staff and usually very well presented and prepared coffee as it should be. I attend usually very early in the morning so not sure how it is throughout the rest of the day though. But my experience so far has always been quite good service.

Well run and friendly Costa Coffee where the latte is in the main well made. Adjacent to free Podpoint electric car charging is a strong attraction for me.

It is what you'd expect from a good Costa, condensed down into a drive thru. Jolly staff often too, probably works better for them not having as many customers in their face :')

Not long opened, easy to find just off ring road and opposite Travelodge. The usual Costa drive thru experience with a friendly welcome. Yesterday big queues so simpler to park up and go in for a takeaway coffee.

Lovely service price is a little high

Been a while since the last Costa, it was a Saturday afternoon, they were relatively busy but had to wait for ages to be served then I was served and ordered 2 drinks and they didn't mention marshmallow or choc flake was extra, so promptly charged more, I queried this several times got it changed, but kept adding these on, despite me not saying, my friend think got a wrong size coffee, not sure they were with it, a few tables had stuff left from previous people not cleaned, perhaps they were short of staff? It was okay tho.

Nicely placed with the usual sections of drinks and food. They have the Vegan options which some Costa still don't have on their menus. So time gets really busy but on a whole. It's a nice Costa.
