As a frequent visitor to this excellent cafe it is time to post a review to say what a nice place it is to enjoy food and drinks. As well as first class food and drinks including very good coffees the team are very friendly and thoughtful as well as highly professional. The cafe itself is cosy, well-decorated and spotlessly clean. Looking forward to visiting again shortly!

One of my frequent cycling coffee hotspots, and one that never fails to disappoint; staff always friendly, food and drinks always nice, and the cake counter for that sugar boost is always well stocked. Would recommend to anyone on a bike or just driving through the area (because who doesn't sometimes get cake to go). Probably advisable to book ahead for larger parties though as it's quite small (yet cosy) and can get busy.

What a lovely little space, with welcoming and friendly staff and an incredibly large selection of delicious cakes. The lunch itself was decent, with my wife having a jacket potato and me a sandwich, both of which were filling, but the stars of the show were the cakes we shared for dessert. I don't think I have ever seen so many cakes on offer in such a small establishment, yet they were scrummy!

This was the second time visiting and can honestly say this is the lushest little coffee shop I’ve ever been to. The staff (on both visits) were just so sweet, helpful and friendly - Nothing seemed too much. The food and cakes (can I say made by the gods 🤤) were unreal, I even videoed their selection to show everyone I know🤭. Overall my favourite coffee shop!!

It was only by luck we went into this beautiful little rural coffee shop, and what a gem it was. So many beautiful cakes, all reasonably priced, good variety of breakfast items and savoury lunch items on the menu too. It was very busy late Saturday morning when we arrived, but we still managed to get a table for 2. Service was relatively quick, considering how busy it was. Toilet room was clean and well stocked too. Parking was free and easy on the road side. Furthermore they offer a cakeaway service and use sturdy cardboard boxes, although you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Local coffee shop, so very invested in supporting it. From initial phone call to actual visit everything was easy, relaxed & efficient. A relatively short menu but a good choice. I had a deli salad which was delicious & plentiful. My friend had a baguette, a favourite of hers. We didn’t have cake despite them being homemade & looking delicious & gaining many positive reviews. The service was very good.

We visited this lovely coffee shop for a picnic bench afternoon tea and it was outstanding. We visited as a group of 7 ladies on a hen do. The food was amazing and so lovely. It was nice to have different food, burgers, chips, mozzarella bites and mushrooms rather than the usual ham sandwiches. Cakes were delicious. Would highly recommend. The ladies in the cafe were very accommodating and welcoming. We had the best time, starting the hen do off with a delicious picnic bench afternoon tea. A must! Thanks for having us!

We popped in for breakfast on the spur of the moment. Very friendly staff, who I assume were the owners. Food coked to order and nicely presented. Sausages looked like vegetarian but I don't think they were. My only complaint is that i asked for the bacon to be well done on all four breakfasts and it wasn't it was very pink, but maybe that's just my view of what well done is like, I always ask for bacon to be well done when we have breakfast out and most places do do this. The only other issue was that I asked if they did fried bread and was told no, toast only. Again many other places have said no we don't usually but we will if you would like it, with an independent coffee shop/restaurant this is what I would expect. Overall, very good though and well worth a visit

The staff need professional barista training. Getting the milk right is all important for a great coffee, right temperature, correct grind on beans , strength, and knowing the difference between the various coffees. Really important if they want to be a player in a fast growing market of coffee culture!Food portions twice the size necessary. Lots of wastage! A sandwich is just that, not a plate of other food. Garnish, is a leaf of lettuce just for declaration.Plough and is big enough to share, either halve it, or change name to sharing platter.

We've been here a few times now and we will continue to do so as it's a real treat every time. So much more than a coffee shop with it's ever changing specials board and good quality regular menu. It shows that they really do believe in producing a high standard of food. They even prepared an old special i liked that wasn't being advertised at the time. So welcoming and friendly i can't see how anybody could find a fault with this little quaint establishment. I have been here several times as it is an easy option geographically. The food is good, and the limited range understandable giving the village location. The coffee is not great - suspect barista training refresh needed. The decor is okay, but not very welcoming really and sometimes there is a distinct lack of atmosphere which could be adressed by more wood, books, pictures instead of the obligatory black and white journalistic image of people drinking coffee. Why not images of the area? Food bit pricey, but as I say tasty. I wouldnt go out of my way for the 'experience' of this cafe, but if I was really hungry and had just been paid I am there definately
