The coffee is fabulous, however we had a takeaway paid and only discovered afterwards we had had a 5% tip added. I was not given a choice about this and in fact had to wait outside the shop because of the queue .. feeling disappointed

We went to Seasons for the Sunday Lunch. The setting and interior were lovely. The food itself was fine. The bean and lentil loaf felt like a vegetarian afterthought and was very tough. The stuffing with the Turkey was tiny and dry from sitting out. The desserts were not great. In particular the creme brûlée was not set, so was like eating a custard yoghurt! The service was very slow, we had to remind them about our drinks - which came out wrong when they did arrive. Not the best. Most of the roast was fine, but overall disappointing.

Great food, choice of 4 currys. I had the madras and my husband had the tikka masala which were both excellent and a large selection of deserts. We both had the exotic cheesecake with scoops of coconut ice cream, light and scrumptious. The decor of the cafe/restaurant is interesting and quirky.

A quick stop, only bottles ales, draught lager and cider. The food looks great and a fab price, although as per normal, we don't eat out. At the bar, a local lady said the food was fantastic and from what I saw , I cannot disagree. Lovely welcome from the barmaid with the colourful hair!

Pizzas were really delicious & flavoursome. My husband had the Napoli which had a perfect amount of heat & I had the Flying Pig & substituted ham for pepperoni (which wasn’t a problem at all) which was perfect. The roasted tomatoes really added to the depth of flavour - possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had!!!!

I have always enjoyed this restaurant, food and ambience, and indeed, the food on my last visit was up to the usual standard. But am I imagining it, or were the prices raised far more than I would have expected. Energy is expensive, I know that. But if prices go too high, and some prices on this menu were eye watering, there is a danger of killing the goose that lays the golden egg. And that would be a pity. Food 5 star, prices not so.

What a lovely place to go for lunch. The food was very tasty and the staff were lovely. We had the pasty’s with salad and chutney and a cream tea and I can honestly say it’s the most generous portion of clotted cream Iv had in Devon. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Unbelievable lack of service. When I wanted to purchase two pasties there was a group of friends or family in front of me of the serving window blocking the way to the counter. I waited a minute or so, then one person said customer coming through, which I did. However, the chap behind the counter looked at me and continued his conversation without hesitation completely ignoring me. I waited to see if he would stop, then walked away, I’d never return nor recommend this place as this chap was so arrogant in his approach. How easy it is to lose business. There is no excuse for his behaviour. So sad.

Excellent fish and chips spoiled by an unacceptable wait of over 40 minutes due to them “losing “ our order. An apology given but nothing knocked off our bill which would have been the least they could have done but not forthcoming so a non return here which is a shame as the meal was delicious - poor PR! Our waitress was lovely and was very embarrassed by our long wait.

We visited last week - family of 6 with our four children (10, 8, 6 and 2) it was a lovely sunny day so the seating was welcomed situated in a lovely sunny spot before (or after like us) taking a trip on the cliff railway. The ice creams were really reasonably priced and the flavour selection was fantastic. My husband had the cappuccino crunch and said it was the best ice cream he’s ever had - we live in a tourist destination so have tried our fair share of ice creams so this was high praise from him! There was a great selection of other sweet treats available too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Lynton or Lynmouth!

Was looking for a bite to eat And decided to try here. It was quite empty and lacked a bit of atmosphere. The menu was limited and I opted for the quiche with home-made coleslaw. It was okay and fairly priced but I don’t consider one teaspoonful of coleslaw to be worthy of calling it a side salad. Not sure if I will come back as it was very limited on the plus side I could hear myself speak to my colleague as it was so empty.
